The Lord of Snacks

Though it was wounded, the cat seemed to ignore its injuries and showed no signs of slowing down. Much like any other cat, the kitten landed feet-first on the soft grass without making a sound. At least, not until it opened its mouth. It roared again, though not as fearsomely as it did back in the cafeteria. A shockwave, invisible and weightless, burst from the kitten's vocal chords. It tore up the ground in front of the kitten, just barely missing Simon and Star. A large oak tree behind them began to creak, and then burst into pieces as if it were just hit by a large wrecking ball.

Whoa, what was that!? Felix thought to himself. Surprised, he called out to Simon. "You okay, Simon? Ya might want to set down that camera for a bit. Who knows what could happen if you're distracted!"

Not entirely sure what was going on, Felix knew that he had to beat up the not-so-helpless kitten that was apparently trying to kill everyone here for some odd reason, and that was good enough for him. He pointed menacingly at the cat, and yelled. "Okay, everyone! That cat's dangerous, and people will get hurt if we don't do something! Let's go, Elyon!"

The kitten, angry about being hit by Star, was preparing to roar again. Felix felt it was safe to assume that it didn't plan on missing this time. It opened its mouth....

...only to be interrupted by Elyon firmly planting his fist into its torso. With his momentum adding to the force of the punch, the kitten soared through the air before landing, once again, feet-first on the soft grass. It quickly scurried up a nearby tree and hid in the leaves, preparing for its next strike.

"Woohoo!" Felix cheered.

"WOOOO-HOOOOO!!!" Simon shouted in delight as the kitten roared causing a wave of destruction past him and blew up a large tree behind everyone into tiny bits. Of course he videotapes all of this.

"THIS IS AWESOME!" Simon laughed happily.

As everyone took cover from the falling debris, Simon just stood there laughing enjoying all of this. Star can be seen laughing too, however it just did whatever its Deus tells it to.

Simon then saw what Felix did and cheered with him.

"YEAH! FELIX ROZ-IN-KRATZ! YOU DID IT!" Simon cheered.

He ran to Felix where he picked him up,

"WOOO!!!" Simon carried on.

However he noticed the evil cat isn't finished yet. He dropped Felix down to the ground not paying attention to him anymore. All attention now back to the cat,

"OOOOO!!!! FELIX! DO YOUR SUPER COMBO FINISH! THE CAT LIVES!" Simon shouted.

"Not again…" Sagi sighed, recovering from another vision of the girl as he trailed onto the battleground. Unrealistic roars could be felt, pulsing past his skin and laying waste to the tree in its path. He dived to the ground, dodging thick needles of wood that flew free from the decimated tree. Looking up, he could still see the kitten causing all sorts of havoc to his new friends. His teeth gritted in anger.

He dug into his backpack and pulled out his own Angel. Omu soared through the air lifelessly as he was launched from the powerful momentum of Sagi's swing. Two fingers pressed gently on the boy's forehead; a gesture that Sagi found helpful whenever channelling his energy to Omu.

Green eyes flashed at once and the white cape came to life, whipping about in the passing winds. Omu landed with a thud of his tall white boots. His sickle moved swiftly between his expert fingers, swishing as it cut through thin air. The demon Angel lowered its hood and charged towards the berserk kitten.

Once. Twice. All three swings were swiftly avoided by the beast. The cat launched a powerful paw against his chest, sending his feet dragging through the soil and grass a few centimetres back. It was approaching again. Omu countered with a fling of his sickle, directed at the kitten's neck, but the wild beast caught on quickly, and swayed its head out of the way. The sharp blade wasn't all wasted however.

In its desperate attempt to avoid the attack, the kitten may have dodged certain death but only at the cost loosing the tip of its left ear. Small blots of blood dropped to the ground from its severed ear. This didn't seem to slow down its offence at all however. If anything, it was only infuriated more, pressing furiously against the ground as it charged viscously at a weapon-less Omu. The demon Angel gritted his teeth and crossed his arms before his face, hoping to reduce the impact of the coming attack…

OOC| Err, well, where do I go now? I have been alone, so what do I do? Will edit this post, so keep a look out (after somebody instructs me)

OOC: Yes, well, an evil cat just tore through the cafeteria wall, kidnapped Elyon, and is currently trying to kill everyone. A good, convenient idea might be to come and help >_>

Oh, and in case the post isn't clear enough, none of the characters can see the two girls.

IC: "Oh joy, I haven't had this much fun in such a long time!" The cheerful, somewhat high-pitched, childish voice called out seemingly to itself. "How about you, Zeffy?" She chuckled. "Oh, that's right. You can't do anything out here! Heehee!"

The translucent image of the pig-tailed girl hovered a few dozen feet above the battlefield, watching over the movements of the students, their Angels, and the kitten. Unnoticed, inaudible and undetectable, the young red-haired girl smiled as she spoke, knowing full well that in this state only one other person could sense her presence.

Beside her was a similar apparition. Another girl, roughly the same size as the pig-tailed girl. Her hair was long, flowing the entire length of her small frame. A large, dark blue ribbon rests on her head, perfectly matching her ocean-blue hair; a stark contrast to her bright pink dress. "...Please do not refer to me as 'Zeffy'. I prefer to be known by my designated identification serial." The girl's voice was sullen, emotionless, monotone. The exact opposite of the pig-tailed girl. "Furthermore, why do you persist? You fail again and again, yet you continue to do this."

The red-head pouted, placing her hands on her hips. "Zeffy, you just don't get it. It doesn't matter how often you interfere. The end result is inevitable; the fragments grow more and more restless every day. All I have to do is give them a little push. With or without my help, it's only a matter of time until the reunification," she said with a cheerful smile. "Even if you dispose of them like the others, I'll just try again. Just like always. After all, I'm just speeding up the process."

"I know that. You still haven't answered my question." The girl's emotionless eyes seemed fixated on the battle.

"Because we're kind of like rivals, silly!" She moved closer to the one she called "Zeffy" and hugged her. "Us girls have to stick together, even if we don't get along!"

'Zeffy' didn't so much as flinch. "...Chiyo. I will not allow you to succeed, you disgusting worm."

Chiyo, the red-haired pig-tailed girl, frowned again, and released 'Zeffy' from her grip. "Zefiris, you're such a party pooper. You know that!?"

"..."
-------------------------------------------------------
Already covered in various nicks and bruises as well as suffering from a broken rib from Elyon's last assault, the kitten's eyes burned with the fires of a thousand suns as its ear was severed. It roared again, and charged directly at the now weapon-less Omu, not noticing Elyon chasing after it.

Simon steps up with is hand extended and his finger out to point at the evil cat, he grows a fearsome face,

"Evil Cat of the great beyond! Behold the majesty of the amazing Star!" Simon shouts in a dramatic fashion.

Star suddenly appears in front of the cat in blinding speed. She picks up her scythe and strikes it back making it flies at least 5 feet.

"Go STAR!!!" Simon shouts.

Star then leaps up into the air after the flying cat and continuously strikes it at such fast movements that the human eye could hardly follow them. Simon however began to film this and really got in to it.

The cat falls down to the ground where it slowly gets back up, Star can be seen landing right in front of it with her back turned to the mad beast. The cat swipe out is paw filled with sharp claws ready to strike the Angel. Star however quickly turns it's head,

"Will Star meet her gruesome end? Will the kitty of cuteness become the kitty of death? Will Star reign supreme in this deadly tangle of death?" Simon asked everyone narrating the battle.

The paw is about to hit Star when she quickly turns with her scythe extended, she flips it over to show out its blade and ducks underneath the flying paw with her scythe still extended above her. The sharp and slick scythe finds its way going into the cat's paw with the use of the spacing in between each claw and makes its way up to its knee were afterwards the cat is shown with a spilt open leg much of that which resembles a peeled banana. Blood can be seen pouring out of the cat's once whole leg.

"ROOOOOOOOAAAARRR!!!!" The cat screeched in pain.

Simon could be seen lowering his camera in the sight of this shocking scene.

"Oh... my... geez..." Simon says as he grips his head in astonishment to what is in front of him.

The cat, obviously unable to support itself to stand up falls to the ground, as its leg is literally spilt open as if peeled down. Star could be seen standing up slowly with a bloody scythe at hand with the wind slowly blowing into her, making her hair brush to the side a bit and her loose clothing slowly flowing in the air.

"WOOOO!!!! YEAH STAR!" Simon yelled for his vicious little Angel.

OOC: Well. Erm....I guess that's that ^_^;;. I might have to slap a rating on this :cheeky:

IC: Felix slowly rose to his feet, finally realizing he was on the ground after Simon dropped him. Elyon stopped moving, and the kitten collapsed. Its breathing slowed, and eventually stopped. For a few moments, all was quiet. Suddenly, green flames erupted from the cat's body. It incinerated in seconds, leaving no trace behind aside from a dark purple mist that rapidly dissipated.

"So, um. Should I be upset that we just killed a kitten, or glad that we just killed a demonic kitten that tore through concrete and tried to kill us?" Felix asked, unsure of what he should be feeling. He was curious, however, as to why the kitten had taken Elyon in the first place. "Was it because he had a cool costume? No, no that can't be it. There were lots of other Angels with nifty outfits in the cafeteria..."

He looked at the other students. "I'm guessing that with the cafeteria incident, we won't be having any classes for a while. Why don't we all put our collective brain power to good use and try and come up with an explanation for all this weird stuff?"
------------------------------------------
"Well, looks like the fun's over. I should make my entrance soon. But it's more fun to watch and see what happens next, don't you think?"

Chiyo's beaming smile, bright as the sun, went completely unnoticed by Zefiris. "Honestly, Zeffy. Can't you do anything else? C'mon. Turn that frown upside down!" she said, floating over to Zefiris and pulling on her cheeks, forming an artificial smile on the girl's emotionless face. Zefiris remained motionless, her eyes fixed on the people beneath her.

"....If they continue along this path, I shall have no choice but to take action."

"But weren't you going to do that anyway?"

"I will carry out my objective."

"If you're going to make a move, promise that you'll smile for me, okay? Be a good girl, Zeffy."

"Please don't call me that."

It seems that the threat against their lives is now over thanks to the heroic efforts of Simon Sehz!

"YEEEAAAAHHH!!!" Simon shouts in victory!

"WOOO!!!" He begin to dance in place.

His shirt could be seen it read,

"Ego. Got one?"

"Not only did I just save the world! I have also got this all on video! This will make a spectacular movie! Oh I can see it now! Simon Pictures on the big silver screen, it will be magnificent!" Simon said starting to daydream again.

He made a fist with his hand and raised it up high in victory.

"DO NOT FEAR MY BROTHERS! I AM HERE TO PROTECT YOU ALL! FOR STAR IS A GUARDIAN FOR EVERYTHING THAT IS GOOD!" Simon yelled in excitment.

His Angel slowly walked up to him and just stood in place slowly wiping its scythe clean from the blood using the grass.

Just then a bush near the group made some noise.

"SHH!!!" Simon extended out his arms as a sign for everyone to stop moving.

"Did you hear that?" Simon asked again.

The bush made some more noise until a black cat slowly popped out.

"Meow!" It made a very cute meow.

The black cat is small and cute looking it begins to cuddle around Simon's feet.

"Why isn't it little Melanie!" Simon said as he put his camera around his shoulder using the strap it comes with and picking his cat up. He talks to the cat as if talking to a baby.

"Who's the best cat in the whole wide world? Who's the best cat? Who?" Simon said wiggling his nose against the cat's.

The cats eyes looked a bit wet as if it were crying, how odd.

"Oh little Mel-Mel, why are you crying? You little cutie pie. Let me make you feel better." Simon said as he hugged his cat and began to kiss it on top of its head.

The cat began to feel better, she started to pur.

"Who's the little kitty?" Simon asked his cat as he hugged it more. The cat started to become very happy and purred louder as Simon hugged it.

Simon however doesn't care that the school doesn't allow pets, it seems that this cat of his is his pet and he probably hid it in his Dorm Room. However he is happy to be with her. And the cat who is named Melanie as well, seems to be happy with him as well.

OOC| Thanks ^^ Zefiris is from Scrapped Princess, right? I love her!

IC|

Haruhi glanced through the broken wall.

"Guys, what just happened?" She asked to the staring strangers. "I heard some really non-ignorant noise and saw a... Demon cat here?" She wasn't very sure. "I am not hallucinating, nor am I a lunatic, thank you, but what really happened?"

"Seems like there's a lot of damage..." She continued without waiting for an answer.

OOC: *DING* Congratulations, xoxkris! For correctly identifying a reference, you get an e-cookie! Zefiris is currently my favorite female anime character ever, so I couldn't possibly write a story without her. Oh, and could you make your post a bit longer? I'd like 4 full lines at least. Add some miscellaneous details like your character's thoughts, describe your surroundings, or any other random tidbits you can think of. It's what I like to call "fluff". You know, creative writing and all that jazz. Mmm, I love me some jazz.

IC: Elyon quickly climbed his way up to his normal perch on Felix's shoulder, the odd colors of his cloak swaying with his movements. The black cat startled Felix, and he slowly backed away from Simon. He was a bit odd at times, and after what just happened, he'd rather not get close to any cats. Instead, he turned to face the young girl emerging from the crack in the wall. He tried his best to smile, despite having nearly been killed moments before.

"Er...hi there, little lady," he said nervously. "I guess you noticed the hole in the wall, eh? Haha."

The cat blood on the grass rapidly evaporated. Aside from the hole in the wall and the memories of those who saw it, there was no longer any sign of its existence. "Truth is, I don't think any of us really know what happened. Say, why don't you come over and help us think of an explanation?" His face was beaming. He knew, after all, that anyone, at anytime, could come up with some critical clue that causes everything to suddenly make sense. And the more people around, the more likely that was to occur.

He turned his attention to Simon and the black cat. Paranoid as he was about it, he couldn't help but feel pity. And then Felix had a random thought. "Hey, Simon! Whatever happened to Melanie?"

Simon practically jumped by the question. He looked around himself and didn't see her. He then held his cat in one arm and shot a fist in the air making a pose,

"I DON'T KNOW!" Simon said with a nod.

He then put his hand over his face where he began to rub his nose with his finger; he kept on rubbing the top of his nose up and down until he remembered a bit of what happened,

"Well before all of this she ran away, AHA!!!!" He shouted startling everyone including his cat that almost jumped out of his hands.

"She ran away with everyone else back at the gourmet buffet." Simon explained comparing the cafeteria to a gourmet buffet; Simon must be the only person alive to ever do such a comparison.

Simon then looked around the surrounding area that they are in. He checked around a bush, the debris of the blown up tree, under a rock, behind Felix, he even picked him up to double-check, however he tossed him aside as before,

"Melanie isn't here!" Simon told everyone the obvious.

MELANIE!" He yelled,

His cat meowed in response.

"Meow!"

"MELANIE!!"

"Meow!"

"MELANIE!!"

"Meeeooww!!!"

No goal, his friend was nowhere to be seen.

He then noticed a girl near them, a young cute girl; maybe she saw her back at the cafeteria.

"Hey there pumpkin, did you see a girl about ye height with black hair?" He asked Haruhi. Then again he was very vague with the description.

Simon then turned to everyone and began to laugh,

"HaHAHAHAHA!!" He smiled.

"I HAVE AN IDEA!" Simon told everyone, it's big news since he has an idea, which means he can actually think.

"Melanie can't be too far from here, it'd be best if we go searching for her, I bet we could find out more about the demon cat while doing this as well. WE MUST FIND CLUES TO FIGURE OUT OUR FATE IN THIS ADVENTURE WE CALL LIFE!" Simon shouted as he threw in the last line.

He put his cat down on the ground,

"Melanie, help us out with your cat powers. Sniff out the other Melanie." Simon told his cat getting confused that he knows two Melanie's, both a girl and a cat.

The little black cat jut looked up at Simon,

"...meow?" It gave a puzzled meow.

"Melanie! Go!" Simon told his cat.

The cute cat paused in its movements, if it could shrug in confusion it would have done so here. It then ran off and scurried on to the corner of the building everyone is next to where there it could not be seen by anyone.

"Alright! Let the search BEGIN!" Simon told everyone as he marched forward.

"Simon!"

Simon trips as he is marching and falls flat on his face. He gets up and rubs his face, pretending that didn't just happen.

Suddenly a female voice could be heard by everyone near where the hole in the cafeteria is. A cute girl can be seen stumbling out of the hole, she turns to see it and put one hand over her heart with a worried look. She turns again and runs to Simon where she hugs him,

"Simon! I was so worried about you!" She hugs him tightly.

Simon smiles and hugs her back,

"Ah Mel! We were about to look for you! As a matter of fact I had my cat go to sniff out your trail!" Simon explained.

Melanie enjoyed his hug, when it was over she gave off a blush and held her hands together, she made a cute smile,

"Heheh... r-really?" She asked with a soft giggle.

Simon turns to everyone!

"NOW MEN! LET US BRAINSTORM TO THE ORIGIN OF THE DEMON CAT!" Simon shouted.

Peace was restored as the dark mist of death vanished into air, taking with it all the evidence that the murderous kitten ever lived. Thankfully, the enemy was disposed of before it could let loose a devastating attack on his Angel. Sagi walked over the calmed field, collecting Omu and his weapon off the ground as he did so. Questions and doubts began to raid over his mind once again, but he did his best not to dwell in his mind at such a moment.

Out of the rustling bush beside him came another kitten, startling him as it leaped out from its hiding spot. Sagi was tempted to run over and give it a good punt, but he stopped himself when he saw it run happily to Simon. It must've been his pet. Good for him, Sagi thought, unsure of whether he would be able to trust any cat again after what took place seconds before. Together, the group walked back to the cafateria and found a fellow student standing there. Sagi knew her name was Yukishiro Haruhi, but never had the pleasure of actually speaking to her. He gave her a weak smile and a wave before turning back to answer Simon's question.

"I asked myself the same thing," he started. Then he turned to Felix. "Do you think the cat was after your Angel specifically or was it merely most convenient seeing as Elyon was the closest to where it crashed into back at the caf?"

Sagi looked to the ground momentarily with crossed his arms while humming softly to himself in thought. "As for the kitten," he spoke up after a while. "I wouldn't miss it in the least and I'm sure it wouldn't have missed any of our Angels either. I must admit though, its appearance isn't the only extraordinary thing that I've witnessed lately. Call me crazy, but I've been having this re-occurring dream. And I think the cat might be connected to it…"

(*)(*)(*)

A recurring dream?

The line couldn't help but grab Felix's attention; he even seemed to ignore Melanie's sudden reappearance. He, too, had been having a recurring dream, as well as some odd visions. He dreamt of a young girl, her bright red hair tied in distinct pigtails. She spoke of the Lucky Penny, a mysterious coin Felix had desired for years. Mainly due to an odd fantasy he had of becoming the self-proclaimed Chocolate King. Furthermore, the girl would also speak of a place called "Hinamizawa".

Felix often decided it was best not to delve too deeply into the matter, as deep thoughts often made his head hurt. "Times are changing", he mumbled to himself. He suddenly recalled something that happened a short while ago. "Well, everyone. I think we've found a good topic to start with."

He turned to face Sagi, first. "Truthfully, I've been having a recurring dream about a funny-looking girl with pigtails in her hair. I don't suppose yours is something similar?" Felix longed to explain his dreams to the others, but he had an odd feeling that they all had the same dream; that their gathering was not mere coincidence.

Second, he turned to face Simon. "Before the cat attacked, you said you heard a voice. Mind telling us what it said? Or anything you remember about it?"

He finally noticed Melanie, and could not bring himself to do more than wave and smile meekly.

Melanie waved back at Felix and smiled, she blushed a bit but not as much as before, she must be getting used to everyone.

"YEAH! SAME DREAM HERE TOO!" Simon shouted.

" I dreamt of that little pumpkin and telling me something about a coin. The voice... AH! The voice told me about some place named like HEN-AH-ME-ZAH-WAH!" Simon had trouble pronouncing.

"From this I have taken it upon myself to start a club about the matter! I AM THE CREATOR AND FOUNDER OF 'THE LOST PENNY CLUB'!" Simon extended out his arms with open hands.

"It's not official as of yet, but it will be! OH IT WILL BE!" He ensured everyone.

"And I have discovered the truth behind the penny!" He told everyone, he has all ears.

"THE TRUTH BEHIND THE SACRED LUCKY PENNY IS THAT FACT THAT IT IS MADE UP OF COPPER WHICH YOU ALL KNOW IS FROM A PIECE OF THE METEOR THAT KILLED OFF THE DINOSAURS!" Simon claimed.

Melanie however turned to see everyone and spoke in a shy voice.

"T-th-the penny is from um, unknown origin, but um, it is claimed to have amazing powers like, it will return from any vending machine it is placed in, essentially acting as a coin that can be used an infinite number of times to purchase an infinite number of snacks .." Melanie informed everyone.

She seems to know a lot more than Simon, much more, funny thing is, and she wasn't the one with the dream, which is sad for Simon's case. Exactly how does she know all of this? Simon finds out,

"Mel, how the heck did you find out all about that?" Simon asked her.

She blushed and hesitated at first to answer she then splattered out words,

"I, um, uh, Lear-learned this from the club of course." She gave a smile.

Simon couldn't argue with that,

"Sounds good! See? My club is a work of art!" Simon informed everyone.

He picked up his camera again and started filming everyone,

"And so what happened to the demon cat? Will Felix be able to save Elyon in future attacks from demon kittens? Will our group of heroes of extraordinary goodness be able to stop the plot of the evil kittens of doom? And just what is HEN- AHH- ME-ZAH-WAH?! And what lies ahead there for this band of heroic heroes?" Simon narrated

"CUT!" Simon shouted. He put away his camera again. And picked up Star and placed her back in his jacket.

"Alright! Pack your bags and kiss skool behind! We are going to HEN-AH-ME-ZAH-WAAAHHH!!!!" Simon sang at the end.

OOC| OK, I'll try. It's only when I have nothing to say then I'll post such a short psot. I hate it too ^^

Anwyay, what was the other Dragoon girl's name? Natalie or something, right?

IC|

Haruhi grinned cheerfully at Felix. "Well, maybe it ate a demon and became a hamburger demon?" She suggested in a joking manner before getting serious. "Err, I haven't see anybody of my age with black hair -I have black hair- but she appeared again!" She beamed from ear to ear. "And don't call my pumpkin, I have enough of my friends calling me all sorts of names."

"Pretty Princess Pony!" A vocie echoed from behind. "Bamboo panda!"

Haruhi rolled her eyes and sighed. "That's the price of being naturally tanned..." She mummured before another nickname flashed out. "Longy Leggy!" She spun around calmly and shot an innocent look at Chihiro. Jane was beside her, lecturing her about how rude that was. "By the way, I don't think you have any right to call me that, you drugname." Haruhi shot back and giggled.

She strolled slowly to the group and gasped when she heard Sagi, Simon and Felix. "Actually, I have been having the same dream." She noted to them. "In the end, I was always awoken by my irratating little sister, Aquamarine. Oh well." Haruhi tilted her way cutely. "I guess that couldn't be counted as a nightmare... An amazing dream! It could be some sort of fantasy or adventure!" Adventurous and happy-go-lucky Haruhi immediately exclaimed.

Her Angel, Mikoto gazed at her with those beautiful crystal navy eyes, gem-like yet blank, and emotionless.

Simon laughed,

"Hahahaha! But you look like a pumpkin!" Simon laughed away.

Melanie merely glanced at Haruhi with a bit of an annoyed look, for some reason, Melanie becomes jealous when other girl is around Simon. Could be due to her feelings for him.

"Si-Simon.. you could give me a... nickname.. if you want.." She told him.

Simon looked at her and the laughing still continued.

"Hahahaha... what? Huh? Hahahaha!" Simon then stopped and inspected Haruhi more.

"Hey! Cool! You had the same dream?! And you have an Angel also? NO WAY!" Simon spat his last line out.

Simon faced everyone; he shot out his arms,

'THIS MUST BE DESTINY THAT WE ALL HAVE MET! YES! FATE! WE MUST ALL PUT ASIDE OUR DIFFERENCES AND JOIN ME TO FIND THIS SACRED LUCKY PENNY TO HELP SAVE HUMANITY!!!" Simon threw in to make it more dramatic.

"THE STARS! THEY GLIMMER IN THE RAYS OF FATE! LET US GO NOW! AND FULFILL OUR DESTINIES!" Simon shouted in happiness.

Is Simon crazy? Has he finally snapped? Or does what he say have some truth behind it? Everyone indeed had the same dream and is all a Deus; it can't just be coincidence or can it?

"What are we all standing here moping around for? We have a penny to find! C'MON!" He told everyone.

Haruhi tilted her head slightly again.

"Well, where do we go, then?" She turned around to gazed at Sagi and Felix. "Any of you guys have ideas? I mean, we can't be going straight to the city, right? I heard its name so many times I swear my hair stood up at the end..." She shivered pitifully. "And I am sure that are others that had similiar fate as us. Should we not find them?"

She glanced back at Simon, totally ignorant of Melanie's presence. "Anyway, why do we all have the same dream... Why us?" Somehow she felt frightened, but her curious and adventurous nature prevented her from retreating from this quest.

"And are you certain everybody has had the same dream?" She nudged Simon's shoulder, finally noticing Melanie. "What about the girl beside you? Did she had the same dream?"

Haruhi knew Simon, Sagi, Felix and her all had the similiar dreams. But shouldn't they find more people with the nightmare? Well, Haruhi would not have considered that as a nightmare, but still...

"In any case, we should prepare for the journey, Simon." She told him.

Felix raised an eyebrow. "And how are we supposed to find other people? What are we going to do, walk around asking everyone we meet if they've seen a pig-tailed girl in their dreams? We'll be the laughing stock of the school in no time!"

He felt rather embarrased afterward, having realized he himself had no idea what to do. So, lifting his hand to his chin, Felix began to think. For a time, nothing happened. And for a few further moments, nothing continued to happen. A soft breeze rustled the leaves on the surrounding trees, and the school itself was awfully quiet. Felix thought that the students had finally calmed down a bit after the incident. A moment later, Felix raised his head; a large smile spreading across his face. Elyon stood up on his shoulder, and saluted.

"Haha! I have an idea, everyone!" He shouted excitedly. "There's a pretty big shopping mall nearby. I've got a friend there who runs an antique shop. Bit of an oddball, but the guy knows a lot about a lot of things!"

Felix began to hop up and down, excited at a chance to meet an old friend of his. Probably the only friend he actually had, too. He was lucky Elyon didn't fall off his shoulder. Again. "It's a bit of a wild guess, but I think he might be able to tell us some stuff about the penny!" At this point, Felix was just about ready to dash off to the mall himself; he was merely waiting for the others to agree with his idea.

Melanie started to get more jealous at Haruhi; she always gets like this every time another girl approaches Simon for whatever reason.

"Don't worry, Simon is already prepared." She snapped.

Simon merely glanced at Melanie saying this, he goes a bit scared, and he then shrugged it off and decided to change the mood,

Simon began to cheer,

"YEAH! THAT'S THE SPIRIT!" He yelled smacking Felix behind his back knocking the wind out of the poor kid.

Simon then ran in front of everyone,

"LAST ONE OUT OF THE SCHOOL IS A ROTTEN EGG!" Simon yelled at everyone laughing.

He then ran ahead of everyone. Going the completely wrong direction to where the school's exit is. After a while he ran back to everyone covered in dirt.

"I had no idea that there was a ditch there!" Simon told everyone.

He shook off the dirt like a dog and looked around,

"AHA! There is the exit! Onwards men! DESTINY AWAITS US!" Simon shouted creating more noise.

Simon seemed to have led everyone out of the school in his own weird way; it seems that he knows where he is going... sort of. The group is walking in a forest area that surrounds the school's campus. After a good half an hour of walking they find themselves out of the small forest and in front of a long road in the middle of nowhere, seems the school is located in the outskirts of town. However there seemed to be a bus stop right next to them, Simon jumped next to the Bus sign.

"HAHAHA! FOUND IT!" Simon cheered.

It seems he has left the campus before, he really like to go against rules. First the pet cat he hid in his dorm room and now leaving school grounds without permission? Simon sure does like to get himself in trouble.

"WOOO!!! NOTHING BEATS PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION! THE BUS WILL BE HERE IN A SECOND AND SOON WE WILL BE AT THE MALL!" Simon told everyone.

However when Simon said "in a second" he meant that it would take hours as the bus still hasn't come after hours of waiting.

The past few had to be the longest seconds Sagi ever had to endure, with blank trees and empty streets being the only entertainment. Spiky tips of golden hair fell short of dull green eyes, dangling sluggishly about a tired face. Another yawn came with the peek of his emotion. It wasn't so much waiting he had a problem with, but not doing anything while waiting is what got him.

He sat on the bus stop's bench with crossed arms and one leg folded over the other. The, almost involuntary, shaking of his airborne foot was all that kept him awake. For once, he wished that Simon's trigger-happy mouth didn't have to tire. Another yawn…

It was enough! He decided, shaking the drowsiness from his face. If he was going to have to wait any longer at least he should find something productive to do. He reached into his backpack and pulled out Omu, his Angel that was an inch short of a foot.

"Anybody up for a sparring session?"
