Strange Kitty...

(*)(IC)(*)

"Yep, he did say Mel-Mel. You may be onto to something there, Sakura," Sagi thought, gently poking Simon's cat curiously. "This is a strange kitty. Did it follow us all the way out here?" Surely he would've seen it if it had. "And how do we know it won't turn around and attack us when we're not looking?" He surveyed every corner of the store. He couldn't see her anywhere. Something didn't quite add up. He frowned, thinking. Sakura had brought it up earlier and he planned on reviving the topic for more discussion. Once curiosity dug its fingers deeply into him, it held on for dear life. "Where exactly did Mel, go?"

His gaze returned to the cat. Apparently, the cat's name was Mel too. Another Mel? He grew more suspicious by the minute.

"AHA!" It finally came to him. He finally put two and two together. That explains why he named his cat Mel…

"So Simon, is there any special reason you decided on the name, Mel?" He said in a suspicious tone, wearing a smile on his face. Maybe Mel's feelings towards Simon were identical to his for her, and Simon just didn't know how to express them. Naming his cat after her wasn't exactly the best way to show his appreciation for someone, Sagi grinned sheepishly. "Nothing against the name, of course. Just sounds oddly familiar." He nudged Simon.

Simon took his cat away from everyone and held her up high.

"MY KITTY-CAT WOULD NEVER HURT ANYONE!" Simon shouted to protect his feline companion.

Simon then became confused,

"Huh? Mel probably went to check out some store. She's got an eye for clothes, she'll be back!"

Simon then paused to hear what Sagi has to say and then laughed,

"HAHAHAHA! What? I think its funny! It's a coincidence...nay... FATE that my cat and my best friend are both named Melanie! I mean she told me her name was Melanie, it just sprung up in my head. I had Mel way before I met Melanie!" Simon told everyone in a dramatic fashion.

As soon as the word "friend" was mentioned. The cat slowly stopped her purring and jumped out of Simon's hands.

"Little kitty-witty, what's wrong?" Simon asked his cat.

The cat gave off a soft cute meow,

"Meow!" The voice of the cat, it sounds like it has been heard before. Somewhere.

The small black cat looked at the strange orb that took Simon's shirt and then looked at Sagi and then at Sakura and meowed again,

"Meow! Meow!"

She then picked up up her tail and quickly walked out of the store.

"Mel! Melly-poo!" Simon shouted for his cat.

He chased his cat but it vanished, soon afterwards he bumped into someone, he didn't notice there was someone walking towards him.

"GAH! Oh! OH NO! ARE YOU OKAY?!" Simon asked.

He helped the girl up who he knocked down, its Melanie.

"Gah, eh, huh?" Melanie muttered, she found herself in Simons arms, she enjoyed every moment of it.

"Mmmm... y-yes." She blushed.

"Good!" Simon pulled back not realizing the special moment they just had, as a matter of fact he didn't even know it was Melanie.

"HEY MEL! Great timing! Did you by any chance see my cat run out of here?" He asked.

Melanie shrugged and slowly shook her head.

"No.. I'm sorry.." She said in a sad tone that she wasn't able to help.

It seems that she has been doing some shopping after all, she's holding a bag. It seems to be filled with some clothes, perhaps a new skirt? A shirt? Who knows, Simon doesn't really care. In her other hand she has a large cookie, it seems to have been bought at one of the vendors in the mall.

"Um, Si-Simon.. I g-got.. thi-this.. for y-you.." Melanie blushed brighter and stumbled out her words as she gave Simon the large Chocolate chip cookie.

"Hahaha! Awesome! This looks great! Thanks Mel!" He laughed as he took the cookie.

"Wait! I have an even better idea!" Simon smiled.

He broke the cookie in half and gave the other piece to Melanie.

"There ya' go! HAHAHA! *MUNCH MUNCH*" Simon devoured his half of the cookie in seconds.

Melanie smiled, she slowly ate her part and joined up with the rest at the store. However, her eyes slowly gazed away from Simon for once to look at that orb in the back. What's so special about that thing anyway? Simon broke it, it's garbage now, isn't it?

Sakura gazed at Sagi thoughtfully before replying. "Well, you had a point, but I still don't really get this...?" She stared at Simon as she claimed Mel won't hrut anyone, which was pretty suspicious, but Sakura don't have all day to suspect a small kitten, and she didn't like to get all so worked up, so she shrugged the thought off and nodded, trying to agree with Simon.

However, her cerulean eyes told Sagi that she didn't have much confidence in Simon's persuasion. After all that happened, nobody can really blame her.

When Sakura saw Sagi strolling out to catch his kitten, Sakura took the chance to whisper to Sagi. "I don't really get much persuasion in your idea, but I guess it's taking me too much energy to work out everything, so..." She ahd to stop when Melanie and Simon returned into the shop.

"Err, everything fine?" Sakura asked with a cute but blur grin. "Anywa, Gil..." She turned to face the shop-owner. "My name is Haruhi, but everybody here calls me Sakura, nice to meet ya!"

OOC: Terribly sorry for the delay! Truly, I apologize. Had some personal issues that needed attending to, and they took a bit longer than I initially thought. But that's just about over and done with, so, on with the show ^_^

IC: Felix strode into the shop after everyone else, having finally calmed down from Gil's stunt. Gil himself waited outside for a few moments, surveying the lower floor of the mall. He seemed to be searching for something. Glaring at each corner of the area, he seemed satisfied and turned around.

Inside the shop, Felix noticed all kinds of weird things. Old books, broken dolls, teddy bears, paintings, statues, a series of miscellaneous objects, Simon without a shirt.... "Eh?" he stammered, taking notice of that last bit. "Simon, what happened to your shirt?"

He twitched, as the door to the shop slammed shut. Gil adjusted his vest, and looked over his guests with a grin. For an unexplainable reason, there seemed to be a hint of familiarity in his eyes. Almost as if this was not the first he's met everyone. "So, you're all Felix's buddies, eh?" he said, eying the group. "Heh, figures."

He smirked. "So what's this about cats?" he asked, inquisitively. Turning to face his friend, Felix began to recount the strange events that have happened recently. The kitten assaulting the school, the dreams, the screeching noises aboard the bus. As the tale grew more and more wild, Gil's face grew more and more serious. And so, Felix finished his story. His friend's eyes gazed briefly on an odd mural at the far end of the room. A white sheet, depicting three humanoid figures. On the far left, a faceless black entity. On the right, an identical one painted white. In the center lay a red, winged human, torn in half down the center. After a moment, his gaze was fixed upon Elyon, sitting firmly atop Felix's shoulder.

"...Felix."
"Er...yeah, Gil?"
"That Angel... Where did you get it?"

Felix thought for a moment, trying to remember. "My parents got it for me a few years ago. Kinda funny, though. It was already prebuilt, which was pretty weird. Why?"

"...Do you know its name?"

Again, Felix pondered. "I'm not sure. The word 'Elyon' popped into my head, and that's what I've called it since. But what does this have to do with anything, Gil? What are you getting at?" He was getting mildly irritated.

Gil stared at Elyon for a few moments, before beginning to speak. "I see. I'd say it's better if you remain unaware, then. At least for now. This place won't be around much longer, anyway." His gaze returned to the mural. "I'll tell ya this, though. That Angel you call Elyon's special. Real special. There's only one other like it in the whole world, and you're all in danger as long as that thing exists."

His words were heavy, as if he were recalling some tragic memories. "Still, I know y'all won't just get rid of it. Not after all that's happened. Them cats you've been seein'? They're just small fry. Fragments, tiny pieces of a bigger puzzle. There's a certain someone using them to get that toy of yours, Felix." He turned his head to face the group. "That doll's got a secret, and if that someone gets their grubby hands on it... well, all the stuff you've seen 'til now is kid's stuff."

"Hold on, Gil!" Felix shouted. "You're not making any sense. How do you know this stuff?"

Gil merely smiled, and adjusted his glasses. "That's my little secret, kiddo. But I know that won't stop ya. So I'll tell ya what. There's an old, abandoned town a few hundred miles to the north of here. Out in the middle o' nowhere, and nobody ever goes there anymore. Place called Hinamizawa. If ya wanna know the truth, and feel like playin' hero, that's where ya gotta go."

And without another word, Gil turned around, opened the door, and walked out of the shop. He closed the door behind him with a loud thud.

Gil's words sunk into Simon's head like a pile of bricks falling in an endless pit, nothing being hit. Simon grew a smile on his face and laughed,

"HAHAHA THAT'S IT! WE NEED TO GO TO HEN-AM-I-ZA-WAH!" Simon told everyone unable to pronouce the word at all.

As Simon cheered on, Melanie started to tremble, everything up until now seemed to be getting more and more dangerous. She couldn't help but worry about everyone, especially Simon. She held a sad yet concerned look across her cute face.

"M-maybe we should um... um, hold on for a bit and think about this." She tried to persuade the group, however focusing more on Simon.

"What? You kidding Mel? This is an adventure of a lifetime! Did you hear Penny Teller Gil? We gotta go!" Simon explained," OUR DESTINY AWAITS US!"

Simon buttoned up his jacket since his shirt is gone and ran out of the store, too bad the door is jammed, he ended up running right into it.

"GAH! What the heck?" He asked struggling with the door turning the knob the wrong way completely.

He then finally opened the door and ran out before anyone can say anything. Melanie couldn't get to Simon. She simply sighed and looked back at the orb behind her,

"Hmm... can't be.." She muttered to herself.

She turns back and waits what everyone else is going to do.

Sakura folded her arms and reflected on Gil's words. Dangerous? Elyon? Nah, this must be some kind of trick.

However, when she saw Gil's serious expression, her mind was made up. A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. A thoughful look was visible on her beautiful face, and finally, she heard an response from Simon.

Sakura turned her beautiful cerulean eyes to Simon and Melanie, as if to scan them. But an innocent and naive grin as cute as Sakura covered all that. Her pretty pink hair swished elegantly and slightly as she pranced over to Felix.

"This must be hard for you, huh?" She placed a hand on Felix's shoulder and smiled reassuringly. "But it'll all turn out just fine, trust me." She gave him a determined grin before turning to the rest.

"So, guys, even if Elyon's a 'dangerous' material, we've gotta find the other one! This will be a real adventure!" She joked cheerfully.

Ready?

OOC: Haven't had much time to RP these days, but I'll do my best to stay faithful...

(*)(IC)(*)

"Yeah, a real adventure," Sagi repeated bluntly. "It's all fun and games until somebody gets hurt." And by the grave tone of Gil's words, the likelihood of suffering serious injuries didn't seem so far away. He hoped nobody would misread him. He was all for a good adventure, but if their lives were at risk then he'd have to question if it was all really worth it. By the sounds of it, the people behind the cat invasions were playing for keeps. They had it in for Elyon. They could very well go as far as attacking Sagi and his friends.

Teal eyes considered the Angel sitting atop Felix' head hesitantly. Sagi knew that if something happened to Elyon, Felix would be heart broken. The bond they shared surpassed that of owner and Angel; it was friendship. Or at least, that's how Sagi chose to see it. "Felix," he started in a low voice. "Are you sure you want to go through with this? I mean, how much do we really know about our enemies? It'll be like walking into a war zone blindfolded." He placed a hand on Felix shoulder and looked him the eye. "You don't need to remind me how precious that penny is. But is it worth our lives?"

Sagi gripped the straps of his backpack and walked toward the door, leaving his friend time to think. He stopped, turning back to face Felix. "Well, whatever your decision is. I'll be behind you one hundred percent!" He half-smiled. His fist rose in determination. The gleam in his eye was that of courage and willingness.

(*)(*)(*)

OOC: Sorry, this one's a wee bit rushed. I was tired, and I'll probably make a few corrections when I'm awake. Just wanted to get the general idea across for now >_>

IC: Felix was shocked. Was that real? He thought to himself. No, no it can't be. Gil has to be joking!

His frown, slowly, turned into a grim smile. He knew, deep inside, everything Gil said was the truth. "He's never been wrong before, though I hate to admit it," Felix said with a dry laugh. Elyon sat unmoving upon his shoulder. He looked harmless, and it was hard to believe that everything they'd been through so far was someone's sick attempt at learning that Angel's secret.

Felix, a look of determination in his eyes, stepped out of the shop and joined the others. Gil was nowhere to be seen, though Felix had something else on his mind. "Everyone, I've made up my mind." Felix clenched his fists, and Elyon followed suit.

"We've really only got one choice. We know someone out there is controlling the cats. We know that this 'someone' wants the secret within Elyon. We don't know what this secret is, but we have to do something!" he yelled, raising his fist in a cheer. "So what if it'll be dangerous? We've put down one of those felines before, and I'm sure we can take out whatever's thrown at us. And do you know why?" He grinned. "It's because we have courage!"

Drawing his hands to his hips, and standing proudly, Felix makes his proclamation. "With courage, even a 1% chance becomes 100%! There's nothing we can't overcome!" His eyes scanned the group. "So, I'm going to Hinamizawa. I want to know what's going on, and what I can do to stop it. Who's with me!?"

There was no time to respond. A few feet behind Felix, a figure suddenly materialized. A being of short stature, roughly as tall as a human child. Its feminine figure clad in black robes, its face wrapped in a hood and covered in a cloud of shadows.

"You would be wiser to simply return the Arbiter to me." The being's voice was hollow, mechanical, and like its figure, oddly feminine.

Felix slowly turned around. He was startled, but he wouldn't let his face show any fear. "Arbiter?" he asked. "What are you talking about? Who are you?"

"..."

"Answer me!"

"...My name and purpose are irrelevant to you. Relinquish the Arbiter unto me, human."

Sakura nodded. "I'm with ya too!" She raised an energetic hand and grinned. "So Sagi and I are going to Hinamizawa with you and Elyon. Oh, don't forget about Mikoto as well!" She grinned at her Doll, sitting motionless on her shoulder.

"She'll be all set~!" Sakura turned to Sagi. "Danger? No problem, I'm sure everything will turn out just fine if we work hard together~!"

She stopped when the shady and luminous looking being appeared behind Felix. As he or she spoke, Sakura bend down, attmepting to see his or her face, but to no avail.

"Who the heck are you?" was the first sentence she spoke after it finished its last sentence. "Nobody's going with you. We have to go to another place!"

Simon realized that no one was following him. He ran back to the group and heard Felix's speech.

"YEAH MAN! WOO! THAT'S THE WAY TO BE!" Simon cheered on Felix.

Soon right after Felix's little speech, a strange figure emerged as if out of nowhere. It sounded to be a woman dressed in black robes. Simon liked the rest became stunned by it and then laughed.

"Hahaha! Oh Hahaha!" He laughed at the appearance of the figure.

"First it was the cat, and now it's this. Felix I don't know how you do it!" Simon told Felix thinking that this is a special effect.

Simon reached into his jacket and took out his camera. And laughed with joy,
he began filming.

"Great beautiful!" Simon laughed.

"Now say that again but this time more angry!" Simon encouraged the black dressed figure.

"Wooo! Scary! I love it! More! GIMME MORE!!!" Simon madly directed.

Intruder...

(*)(IC)(*)

"Arbiter?" Sagi raised an eyebrow at the dark stranger. He didn't know what an 'Arbiter' was but had an uneasy suspicion that the feminine figure was referring to Elyon. He nodded to Sakura in agreement with her words, and then turned back to the cloaked being. "You heard her right! None of us are going anywhere with you!"

Only mere seconds had passed since they agreed to go to Hinamizawa and trouble had already found them. Everything must've been tied to Hinamizawa in some way; the cats, the figure, the girl in their recurring dreams… If they could make sense of the links then they'd be in a better position to solve this mystery. But all that would have to wait. For now, the main concern was this strange intruder before them. Sagi reached over his shoulder and pulled his Angel out of his backpack. Just in case.

Omu climbed countless feet into the air from Sagi's toss. The demon Angel curled into a ball, flipping swiftly in swirls of white and green as it descended back to earth. He landed crouched on one knee, placing a hand on the floor to hold him steady. Slowly, his white hooded head rose. Within the shadows of the hood, emerald eyes flashed threateningly at the potential opponent.

Sagi slammed a fist into his palm. A sly grin tugged at one corner of his lips. "Now, what are you gonna do!?" He taunted the being.

A crowd slowly began to gather around the shop, one person at a time. He wondered whether publicity was a good thing in this situation. Either way, more people were bound to visit Gil's shop after this little stunt. The shop owner would have to thank them for that. Sagi looked to his sides and found that none of his friends had prepped their Angels yet. "What are you guys waiting for!?" He turned to Simon. "Why don't you hand the camera to Melanie and bring out Star!?"

(*)(*)(*)

Simon jumped up and down in joy.

"YAY! YEAH! YEAH!" Simon cheered.

"YOU'RE RIGHT SAG-BOY!" Simon told Sagi.

"What type of movie would it be if Star, the main attraction, was not in it?" Simon asked.

He ran over to Melanie who just walked out of the shop to view the spectacle. When she saw Simon come over in such a rush she immediately blushed and grew a cute smile as he came over. She looked like she was about to hug him since she was scared of the dark figure but then he quickly handed her his film camera.

"Mel, what are ya' doin? Here you go!" Simon told her as he placed the camera in her hands.

"Make sure you get some good shots of me winning! This is gonna be one of the greatest scenes in my movie yet!" Simon told her excited.

"Ye-Yeah... um... okay..." Melanie sounded a bit disappointed.

"Be careful..." She added, concered about Simon's well-being.

However her words were ignored as he rushed back to where he stood before and shouted at the dark figure and to everyone else making a larger crowd,

"EVERYONE! BEHOLD! THE ULTIMATE ANGEL! THE ANGEL OF ANGELS! THE MAGNIFICENT, THE BRAVE, THE SEDUCTIVE, THE INDESTRUCTABLE STAR!" Simon shouted in delight introducing his Angel who he threw out of his jacket.

The angel, Star, flung in with a somersault as it twirled its body in midair and then flipped downwards to the floor for a stylish opening. With her left hand she moved her fingers into her hair and then flowed it back. In her right hand she carried her giant scythe which she then raised into the air and then held it with both hands. She seems ready for battle.

"STAR WILL SMITE ALL EVIL AND WILL BRING LIGHT TO THE DARKNESS THAT IS umm..." Simon was lost for words but then thought up something, " bad? YES BAD!!!"

Simon then stood his ground and stomped one foot hard on the ground hurting the sole of his foot.

"YEAH STAR! GOOOOOO STAR!!!" Simon cheered on his own Angel.

Identity

OOC: Minor notation. "Dii" is the plural form of "Deus". Latin ish awesome ^^

IC: Dozens of people began to gather outside the shop, with most whispering amongst themselves. Some of them snickered, with the younger viewers getting rather excited, giggling amongst themselves. The black robed entity resembled an Angel with its child-like stature; perhaps they were gathering to witness what they believed was an Angelic Fight?

Felix smiled. "See? I don't know who you are, where you came from, or even what you're talking about. But we've got something we need to do, and we're not letting you stop us!" Elyon rose to his feet, and leapt. Gracefully, he landed on the ground with a soft, barely audible tap.

The figure stood motionless for a moment, surveying the Dii that stood before it, ignoring the gathering crowd.

"...I see. So that is your answer, then. You wish to withhold the Arbiter?" it said, gazing upon the Angels. "Third-class terminal interface weaponry... I didn't realize so many had been produced. Very well, then."

The figure lifted its slender arms, and removed the hood covering its face. A youthful, childish, undoubtedly female face now appeared before everyone. Her skin was pale, her eyes a deep azure. Gleaming silver hair flowed several inches past her shoulders.

"Wh-what...? Elyon...?" Felis gasped. Stunned, a million thoughts ran through his head. This woman, whoever she was, looked exactly like Elyon. "Who in the world are you!?"

Her face expressionless, her blue eyes focused directly on Felix now, she spoke. "I am Testament. For now, that is all you need to know." She swiveled her head, briefly looking at the people surrounding her, before returning to the group of would-be heroes. "It was not my original intent to fight you, though I view this as a good opportunity."

The woman calling herself Testament took a single step forward. "Come. Allow me to demonstrate the futility of your decision."
-----------------------------------------
At the lower level, along the far end of the mall, an eccentric shopkeeper watches what's going on above.

Gil adjusted his glasses. "...Well, I reckon that's my cue to get a move on. I'll be waitin' for you guys up north," he said with a smirk. Saluting the group for afar, he turned around and started walking towards the mall exit.

Simon grew a cocky smirk and tilted his head back and closed his eyes in disbelief,

"Humph!" He spat out in his cockiness.

"Testament, Tashkament..." Simon muttered making fun of the Angel's name.

"You're just a pesky evil-doer here to steal our dreams! WELL I WON'T LET YOU!" Simon shouted and pointed his finger at the dark female look-alike of Elyon.

"BEHOLD THE WRATH OF STAR! GOOO STAR!!" Simon cheered on his Angel.

Star's head tilted up in a split second with the might glimmering down on her visor giving a swift glow of white. Taking her scythe she bashed the end of it on the ground creating a small crater of impact and used this as leverage to gain momentum, in a matter of seconds she was racing across the floor at blinding speed. As she ran she extended out her weapon and then pulled the scythe down, jumped in mid-air and sliced Testament in the back of the head with a clean cut by slashing the scythe across the air and in between her legs as she jumped over her for creating a half-moon from a deadly blade. Star landed behind Testament in a number of twirls before she finally had her feet on the ground, she really does like to show off.

"Wooo!!!" Simon shouted in response.

"Did you get all of that?" He asked excitedly.

"Y-yep!" Mel responded with the camera focusing on Star and the battle,

"S-Simon! Watch out!" Mel warned the hyped up Simon who was too busy asking about how his movie is not paying attention to the actual battle.

Battle!

(*)(IC)(*)

Melanie's desperate shriek knocked upon Sagi's duty to act. His teeth ground angrily at the sight of the enemy charging towards Star. He focused his mental energy, churning it into the engine that fueled his Angel.

Omu started towards the Elyon look-a-like. Testament's speed however, was troubling to the say least. The slice she suffered from the edge of Star's scythe hadn't affected her enough to wither her movements. Simon's graceful Angel had made the mistake of being over-confident. Instead of having her follow up on the attack the second she landed, her Deus got sidetracked, leaving her open to the flying boot Testament forced against her cheek. The powerful blow sent Star on her way, soaring through the air like a suicide missile before meeting the rigid conclusion of the shop's wall head first.

A twisted grin stared over the downed Angel. The crowd erupted with a song of gasps.

"Hehe, gotcha!" Omu took advantage of the position behind the enemy's back, grabbing a handful of wild, silver bangs. His other hand took hold of its own share of Testament's hair. White boots began to twirl in a slow, three-sixty revolution. Then, another one, quicker, another, faster. Omu's momentum continued to build with each successful spin. Within moments, the velocity lifted the dark figure's feet off the floor. Omu fought the dizziness sickening his stomach. He didn't stop rotating the Angel by the strings of hair until he was satisfied the toss would be monumental. A loud growl escaped both Sagi and Omu's lips as the white-cloaked Angel released Testament.

The launched Angel flew uncontrollable through the air. She was moving so fast. Sagi had only seconds to realize that he forgot to release the swing in a safe direction. Omu had swung Testament right towards his face. Sagi's quick reflexes took control, ducking his head out of the Angel's path in the nick of time. The person standing behind him, lacking the position to see the crash-coursed Angel coming, took the dark figure straight in the face!

Testament rebounded off the girl's features and bounced on the floor once. Sagi's teal eyes widened at how quickly she recovered. She jumped right back to her feet, and ran between the Deus legs to return to the Angelic Battle. Sagi rose an eyebrow at the girl who got hit in the face. Even with her hands nursing her sore nose, he could recognize her.

"Enna!? What are you doing just standing there? You got to be quicker than that!" If he sounded a little angry, it was only because he had concern for his friends' safety. As much as he wanted to tend to her and make sure she wasn't seriously hurt, his Angel was still on the battlefield and he couldn't abandon Omu in the middle of a battle. He patted Enna on the shoulder then turned back to face the battle.

Simon hurried to his fallen Angel and helped pick her up,

"Shh, shh, its okay, you're okay, shh, shh." He said talking to his angel like a wounded child, he lost it, completely. What was scarier? A floating dark evil clone of Elyon, or someone talking to a doll like an actual person with full contact? You tell me.

For an acrobat, Star got back on her feet using her scythe to pull herself up. She holds a face of disgrace, much like her deus. Simon jumped up and smiled,

"YEAH! STAR IS BACK IN ACTION! SAGGO NO NEED TO YELL AT PEOPLE, EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE FINE NOW!" Simon yelled.

Star cracked her neck and looked up at Testament. She stomped the ground and jumped up making a "BAM" like noise, the angel is so fast that it's able to catch up to Testaments rapid actions. Getting the idea from Omu, Star grabbed Testaments long hair and threw her down to the ground making it shatter and crack beneath her. Star fell down towards Testament with her Scythe up in front of her and gave a direct hit into the stomach making the tip of the blade go into the robes, ripping it least to say. Star then jumped off of Testament and landed near Simon, she flicked her head to move some of her hair out of her eye sight, emotionless yet cool; Star makes the crowd go wild.

"YEAH! Woo! Holy %@$#!" Cheers roar.

"NOW THAT'S HOW IT'S DONE!" Simon said just to be show off in front of everyone, so typical of him.

Simon turned to the crowd and raised his hands up to get a thunder clap rolling on, he just wants to get everyone even more excited, he has no idea that this may be a possible life or death situation, it's all just an act for him. Meanwhile, Melanie still holding the camera zoomed in at Star and then at Simon after he attacked again. She gave off a red blush and bit her lip. She looked like she wanted to see more of him going at it but at the time was very concerned for everyone.

"Oh no! Please! Don't take your eyes off her!" Melanie screamed in terror.

Sakura screamed in shock as the woman, calling herself Testament fought with Sagi's Angel. Taking steps backward, she rushed over to Enna.

"ENNA-CHAN~! What do you think you are doing?! If you stand here mroe than a second longer you are going to get attack by the freaking Testament lady! Run!" She pulled Enna away into safety as the fight clashed on.

Rushing towards Felix and Simon, Sakura prayed in agony but was totally shocked when Sagi was defeated. She watched on silently as Simon sent out Star - to injure Testament.

Sakura cheered on, grinning. "Way to go, Simon~!" She danced over to Sagi and patted him on his back. "You did well with all the ideas, Sagi-kun~!"

Trial

The fallen Testament lay sprawled on the ground. She wasn't moving. Felix smirked.

"Aww, rats. I didn't even get to do anything!" he said, turning to the others. "Well, looks like that's that. Futility? Pfft. That wasn't so tough!"

He turned his head downward, to take another look at Testament. He knew he wouldn't find anything, but he was curious about why she resembled Elyon so much.

"Wh-wha...?"

She was gone. Without a sound, without any hint of movement. Testament had simply vanished without a trace. Suddenly, something spread around the back of Felix's neck. Five points...a hand? Its grip began to tighten. Something forced its way into the small of his back, and he collapsed, gasping for air, the hand still gripping his neck. Testament leaned forward. Her head hanging upside down, she glared into Felix's green eyes.

"To let your guard down so easily is foolish. Consider yourself lucky I don't intend to kill you, human," she whispered. Felix could not respond; her grip had silenced his voice.

"Hey! Attacking the Deus is cheating!" called a voice from the crowd. Immediately, a small Angel bearing the likeness of a medieval knight leapt forward, towards Testament in an attempt to free Felix. Testament did not make any motion to pull her gaze from her captive.

In mid-air, the Angel's flight came to an abrupt halt. It hung in the air, motionless for a moment. Rapidly, the empty space around the Angel began to distort itself, as if the very fabric of space itself was being compressed by some outside force. Bit by bit, the Angel was being crushed into nothingness, its face frozen in a silent scream of death. In moments, it had ceased to be, imploding upon itself.

"...I shall not tolerate any interference," she said, still staring at Felix. "You intrigue me. I am curious as to how you came to acquire the Arbiter, human. But I shall take care of that soon enough. I wish to continue the trial for now."

She released her grip, and vanished again. Felix gasped as his lungs filled with air. Despite his condition, he could only wonder what she meant by "trial". Just what was she trying to do?

The lights in the building dimmed; several lights shut off entirely. Testament reappeared, in front of Star. In her left hand was gripped a blade of light. It's composition gave it the appearance of some sort of celestial flame, serving as a makeshift flashlight to illuminate the area. And yet it radiated no heat. "A high-speed variant of the third generation units? Interesting. Pity your terminal is so inexperienced."

Without hesitating, Testament crouched, and launched a boot into Star's chest, sending the Angel hurtling backwards. The black-robed woman launched herself forward, preparing to slice the Angel to pieces. At the last moment, a small figure, clad in a black and white cape hurtled out from the side, planting its foot firmly into Testament's head, knocking her out of the way.

Elyon landed with a soft thud, and clapped, applauding his own actions.

"Letting your guard down like that is foolish," Felix said with a mocking tone. "Might want to start taking your own advice!"

So much power was in only one attack, Star was knocked back so far that her back hit the wall of the hall they were in leaving cracks and some debris from the material that made up the wall. Star fell down; she can't take such an attack, especially not an acrobat. The tough angel managed to slowly bring her scythe up with a shaking hand as she tried to get on her knees, she managed to kneel, her face held an emotion of pain as Star gritted her teeth as she tried to get up but alas, it is over for the angel and she just dropped back down with a loud "THUD".

"STAR!!!! NOO!!!" Simon rushed over to his fallen Star; he picked her up and grasped her small little hand.

"Star, Star, c'mon, get up." Simon said getting sad, "Get up Star!" Simon tried to talk to his angel; he really cares for the toy.

Just then Star's hand slipped out of Simon's grasp and dropped down lifeless.

"STAR! STAR!!NOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Simon shouted looking up at the ceiling with his fists in the air and tears coming down from his eyes, he made the loss very dramatic. Doesn't Simon realize that Angel's could recharge?

Melanie rushed over to Simon and hugged him immediately. She is warm and soft, the type of hug she gave him is one filled with love. Though Simon is completely over-dramatic, Melanie still felt for him, she seems sad also.

Simon then slowly spoke, "*Sniff* Mel, di..did you g-get all of that?" Simon asked.

Melanie became puzzled.

Simon got up," That was the greatest sad scene ever, and look! Holy Moly! Felix is getting beaten up by the little girl and that guy's angel just blew up, woo! This is gonna be the best movie ever!" Simon told himself trying to convince himself that everything will be alright.

"ELYON! FELIX! DO IT FOR STAR! DO IT IN HER MEMORY! DO IT FOR THE KIDS!!!!" Simon cheered on Felix, exactly who are these kids?

Lights Out?

Whoa! Star must've been having a really bad day. Not once, but twice, she was targeted by Testament's attacks. Sagi could imagine how rough it got for the Deus. Nevertheless, Simon failed to deviate from his ever-loud mouth and love for movies. Some things just never changed. He grinned nervously, scratching the back of his head.

The crowd's chants and murmurs were so loud that he almost didn't hear Sakura's praise. "Gee, thanks Sakura! I wasn't that great though," he continued to smile nervously. "Really, Simon and Star did most of the work. We should thank them. And Felix … Felix!" He witnessed Testament's last efforts on his friend. Rushing over to the downed man, Sagi wrapped Felix's arm over his shoulder and helped him back to his feet. "You okay? What was all that about? And what's with the lights dimming?" Apart from the first question which was directed to Felix, the rest of his queries were simply him thinking out loud and asking no one in particular.

There was no doubt in his mind that the lightshow was the work of that witch of an Angel. He turned back to Felix. "So, what do we do now? If you're strong enough to walk then maybe we should start off for Hinamizawa. The sooner we get there, the sooner we can be done with all this."
