The manga ceation support club

Werid mixes are unique...I've never seen a mecha/romance. ?? I haven't seen alot of them..
 
Neither have I OO, but then again my mix is kinda genreal, a lot of mangas have comedy/romance. I also like fantasy as well 8D
 
These days I've been working on a comedy, ecchi manga. It's based on a movie that I really love
So these two neighbors, a twenty yearold guy and a Japanese school girl are talking to each other. The twenty yearold tells the JSG who's name is Joanna all about history stories. Only these history stories have comedy twists and can be suggestive. I think the movie it's based on is History of the World.
I'm already half way through drawing chapter 1!
and this series will probably have a good destiny but I'll most likely move on to another idea. That's how my mind works unforunately.
However, I've had some good ones.

Hearing the word "mecha" suddenly reminds me that I've never done a mecha genre before. 0.0

You people start new manga too often. XD

I'm still working on the same two manga that I was working on five years ago.
 
wow Kazuhito oo you are very dedicated to your work arent you?? Thats' awesome, I have a little itty bitty lazy streek that keeps me from doing that, but I've had my manga in mind for about two years^^

kimi, thats my strength as well^^
 
I just try to do the best I can to perfect my work, the average mangaka spends 7-10 months working on a project. But those are the guys that have years of experience.
 
Well that's good, and yeah they can pretty much whip a perfect work of art in about 10 mins XD I practice a diffrent drawing style everyday (I'm gonna need more paper ;;) but it's good practice^__^
 
Well, so far I've only planned a few things. I'll tell you what I have so far, though. XD

Title: Amai (sweet)
Genre: Romance/comedy/fantasy/action
Plot:
Akina is a fairy with the purest eyes of her people, and fairies aren't usually like that. So, they tell her she should be an angel more than a fairy and ofcourse, she gets sad about this. And so, she goes to Earth so she can make her eyes more "unpure." The fairies think humans are dirty sinners.
On the other hand, there's a guy who has the complete opposite problem.
His eyes are too "unpure" and he has trouble deciding to be a soul-taker or a demon. He works as a commander for a soul-taking team and goes to Earth to do his job as well as make his eyes "cleaner." He thinks humans are clean un-sinful beings.
And so, the two meet and Akina joins the soul-taking group.

That's all so far. XD
 
That sound cool so far ^____^ and awesome genre! Is there anyshippiness between the guy and Akina???

romance=shippiness^^ soory i didn't make that clear ;; and yeah like Kazuhito said it does sound very original unlike a billion other mangas that are baisically a rip off echother witha tiny twist^^
 
Well, I lpan out the story first then draw the normal characters in a standing pose (not very hard) then i try drawing them in a harder pose because the manga I'm doing is action so they can't just be sticks while they fight,t hey have to move XD
 
I'm surprised how much I got done with my manga so far. I'm ALMOST DONE CHAPTER ONE! (that rhymed!)

I was lazy and digital camera'd it, and set the contrast really high on the important stuff. I'll probably ink it all and maybe even buy half tones and sell the first issue I make at my school to the people who love my work. OMFG MIE FIRSS SALZORS!

In the page I posted, the story begins with Joana and Ben. Not much is revealed in the story but you can sorta see where it's going.
