The map of the whirpool islands

In the episodes where Ash goes to compete in the Whirpool League or something, doesn't it show a map of Korea?

Nope, I don't think it looks like Korea, unless an enormous earthquake seperates Korea into a few islands. XD
The Caribbean kinda look like the Whirl Islands when you turn the image of the caribbean 90 degrees clockwise.

Hey, no-one needs to answer this now.
But I'd like to say that I'm talking about the map
they show in the episodes. And secondly, I've found
that it was based off a map of Korea.
