I feel your pain..once I had to be knocked out so they could replace my teeth for metal ones and fill some cavites...I didn't like it..I was out for about 1 hour afterwards..

I'm still suprised that last time I didn't have cavites since I don't brush my teeth on a regualer basis...Dentist.. *shudders*
