well i can help you with your choosing. i have fire red and sapphire.fire red has pretty good graphics and is an awsome game but its kind of a remake of red,blue and yellow. sapphire is also the same thing.

so it depends, if you want better remakes of the old versions then get lg/fr but if you want something new then get s/r/e.

the money thing... i can't help you with that, sorry xD
