Yeah, but you're dealing with Miss. Impatient over here... oh well, I'll just wait.

In the meantime, you can sign up for my roleplay read a book and watch TV. :D

GAH! I'm being left behind! Guess I should pay more attention XD. Anyways, after a brief respite, I'm back, and will hopefully post at least once today.

Oh yeah txt, I had Kai and Porygon leave the room for the sake of privacy. Hope you don't mind.

Time to be gay all over someone else. Lusankya, I'm looking at you. >:3 A little sexual tension both ways could be fun.

In a more serious note, James will begin undergoing a metamorphosis through the roleplay now that he has experienced death. He'll begin growing more secluded and less flaming, and eventually spiral into a depression towards the end. I'm aiming to force him into the worst possible ending relative to everyone else, but this is up for discussion :P

This is just a small note to all the players in the roleplay.

First off, bunnying. I'm noticing a lot of it going on in the roleplay right now. Just as a definition, "Bunnying" is when you take control of the way another player's character would react, act, speak, or move in relation to something your character has done. Thus far, it hasn't been much of a problem, as people have been rolling with the punches, and it hasn't happened to my character yet (believe me, if it did, you would KNOW), but it's starting to become a bit of an issue. Any time that you say another person's character said or did something that the player did NOT say that the character said or did is bunnying. Now, it's just not polite.

People think that small amounts of bunnying make a roleplay go more smoothly, but I disagree. I'll post up some examples of where it's happening and how it could be fixed in the actual RP here in a moment.

The other note is as follows:

Anyone who has not posted in the thread yet is running out of time. Master Electrician and I will be having the first major even happen by the middle of this week. And if anyone hasn't posted yet, after that event, we will not feel so bad about people getting left behind.

Well, I apologize for the bunnying I've done, but really if I hadn't had Kai move out of the room I would've had to cut my post in half. =/

You wouldn't have. Simply saying something along the lines of "He waited for the room to empty before continuing" would have done equally well without taking over the control of Kai.

Huh? Either way, I made Kai leave the room, only one way was more direct.

If you mean ending my post with "he waited for the room to empty" my post is then cut in half.

It's a subtle difference. By saying that you waited for the room to empty before continuing, you give Kai (and therefor the player) a chance to act out anything he feels he needs to accomplish before actually leaving the room. Perhaps he wanted to say something to Chika's character. Perhaps he would have tripped on something on the way out. Perhaps he would have had the nurse escort him out. Perhaps he would have protested for a moment before leaving. By just saying that you're going to wait for the room to empty before continuing with the conversation you had started, you give Kai all the options he wants on how he wants to get out of the room as opposed to just saying "Kai left the room."

I see your point there, but if I continue with my post, there really isn't much Kai could do more with the "he waited" method rather then the "left" method.

Of course, if I don't continue with my post it goes back to making the RP less fluid.

Although, I suppose that the "waited" method does give slightly more options, so I'll start thinking about things that way then.

Also, since we're getting a sense of who's dropped out and who's in for the long haul, we might drop the three-post rule soon. This doesn't excuse long series of posts that are conversations between two players, but as numbers drop, it'll keep things flowing a little smoother and hopfeully make sure this doesn't die off.

What follows is a totally shameless plug, but seeing as there's some talent here, please please pretty please join Deus Ex Machina in Other RP. It'll be fun, and if you do, I won't have to set my hellhound minions to feast upon your flesh. Ask Phoenix_Mew, it's not fun to deal with. Even if you survive, they're so hard to clean up.

I'll go check it out, if I like it I'll post my sign-up tomorrow.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I'm definitely signing up for that. I can't decide between telekinesis and manipulation of electromagnetism.
