The Minor Characters

Throughout the anime there are a very wide collection of Minor Characters -- characters that would show up once in every new episode of Pokemon. Some were more memorable and interesting than others, but I'd like to hear what you think! What were some of the more memorable minor characters in the anime? Which ones did you like, or didn't like?

Like, for me, I liked the above girl ^ Janette Fisher; I thought she looked pretty cute in her attire, and her Bellsprout was... something else! Comes to show you: never judge a pokemon by it's appearance...

Oh boy... I got characters from each region. Some characters even re-appeared later down the line.

Kanto: This region comes down to two for me. First one is Suzie or the breeder that Brock seeks out to become her student. Her debut Episode was memorable to me for two reasons. 1) Vulpix and 2) Salon Rocket <- to this day the best scam TR has ever done. Not to mention the fact they made even Misty look good. The other character that comes to mind is Duplica. Her Pokemon partner is Ditto and one that didn't have a perfected Transform. To this day I've always loved her debut Episode due to the fact she and the gang mimic'd or parodied Team Rocket. Nothing has been better since but rather than me say it, let the Anime do it for me :)



Both characters return in Johto as well.

Johto: Although my Kanto characters make a return, the one that comes to mind for me are Sakura and her sisters. They're essentially a better version of the Eevee Brothers and represent the Kimono girls in the GSC games. Plus who can resist a cute Eevee?

Hoenn: Not too many come to mind for me save for one: Dr.Abby. Top Coordinator turned Pokemon Doctor that honestly to me was what set Brock on a different path. I mean sure he didn't make it official until the end of Sinnoh but I think he started thinking about it well before that and Dr.Abby was one of those pivotal characters.

Sinnoh: Hands down Angie here. Although there is "Ashley", I honestly think that if Ash was a female, Angie would be it. She returned later on at her family's daycare where her parents teased her about her having a crush on Ash. Icing on top was that she had a Shinx for a partner. Definitely would love to see her return again.

Unova: Shannon for me. Dragon Types aren't easy to raise and she illustrated why.

Kalos: Miette for me. I mean sure she returns several times as a rival for Serena but every Episode she was in it was funny as hell. If not her, then I suppose the director who loves Pikachu hits home.

Alola: Noa for me. I love Pancakes....
