The Monospecies Challenge
Basic Rules-Have you guessed what you have to do? You have to beat the game with a set of 6 Pokemon. Simple, right? Here's the catch. All 6 have to be THE SAME SPECIES.
*HM Slaves are allowed, but other then that all pokemon must be the same species.
*No legendaries.
*If you do not receive any Pokemon of your chosen species by the 3rd gym, you may hack or trade them in.
*Movesets, items, and stats DO NOT have to be the same.

The Challenge ends when the credits roll for the first time, excluding:

G/S/C/HG/SS; You have to beat Red.
B/W: You have to beat Alder.

I am going to do this, because it looks interesting and I'm a master at Pokémon Crystal.

Species of Party: Furret (because I've never used it and it looks neat.)
Extra Rules: I will be nicknaming all Pokémon and when a Pokémon faints, it is considered dead and I must find and train a new member. I will also hold a funeral for the dead Furret in my mini-update things. EDIT: I decided that rule was dumb for how weak they are during training.

Alright. I've done a fair bit of this already... I'll post the update below.
Keep in mind that I have the best nicknames in the world.

First Gym:

It was a bit hard getting a single Sentret up to a decent level. Training these things isn't the easiest thing. I managed, though.

This one was a breeze. I got everyone up to a fairly even level and took out this gym easily. After the battle, I taught Emily Fury Cutter for the Ghastly the rival has.

This one made me celebrate. At Department Store, I bought all 3 of the punches and taught them to some of my team members for better coverage of ghosts. Once I did the gym, I beat Whitney in one attempt. I am a god among men.

I hated this gym so much. I don't really have much to say about the travels, but I do hate this gym. I eventually just decided to buy a ton of awakenings and luck it out.

Started this yesterday, looks fun

Standard until I got the pokeballs, cheated to get me two Zangoozes early in the game.

Beat the first gym luckily with a decisive crit on Pidgeotto.

Beat the second gym kind of easily with the help of early Sword Dance (barelly died to Miltank though)

Time for an update on my LeafGreen Run:

Started the game and named myself Kyouki as usual.
Picked Bulbasaur as a starter because nobody ever wants him Q.Q\
Did the beginning stuff and obtained my PokéDex and PokéBalls.
Used a wild Pokémon Modifier and started hunting for good natured Doduos.
Caught my team after a looong time of running around and resetting so that I don't waste my money on PokéBalls.
Trained my team a bit, battled the Rival again.
Trained my team in Viridian Forest.
Took on Brock's Gym and eventually won after sacrificing one of my Doduos.
Did the Mt Moon bit.
Reached Cerulean.
Battled Rival again.
Took on the Nugget Bridge and all the trainers on the way to Bill's house.
Took on Misty.
Went on towards Vermillion.
Battled my way through the SS Anne, battled Rival again and obtained Cut from the sick captain.
Tried taking on Lt. Surge several times but his Raichu kept 1 hitting my birds so I ended up training east of Vermillion for a while.
Took on Surge again and got lucky with Attract and that got me my win.
Battled my way through towards the Rock Tunnel.
Healed at the PokéCenter and saved.
