Johto has SO many incredible cities! Here's a quick summary for those that may have forgotten!

New Bark Town - The beginning, you get your first Pokemon, generally an alright kind of town
Cherrygrove City - The place where the old man gives you a map and never shuts up about it
Violet City - Obsessed with Bellsprout, fun to visit
Azalea Town - Cute little place, has apricornballs
Goldenrod City - That massive place you get your bike from and Team Rocket tries to take over the Radio Tower
Ecruteak City - That place where the tower burned down and where Ho-Oh was, also dancers
Olivine City - Sick Amphy city
Cianwood City - You get a Shuckle and face a man who likes to fight
Mahogany Town - Lance and his Dragonite save the day
Blackthorn City - When Clair cries... you cry

With that said - which was your favourite? Although the cities are rather small in comparison to other games ALL of these have heart. Which had the most interesting story/design/anything else you could think of? :)

I'll share my thoughts later but discuss away!

I like Goldenrod because there's so much to do there such as the game corner and the department store and I like Ecruteak because of the burnt tower's history and my favourite legendary lives there.

You know what REALLY sucks? I literally think they're all incredible. Well, the majority.

Cherrygrove City to me is so sweet and innocent. Then there's Violet... the place of the best gen 2 gym leader. Azalea brings so many memories...

I personally don't know for me! I legit love them all. :) Overall though, I think Ecruteak is the best because... it has so much history. Literally you could see it in a history book!

Ecruteak City is what I'd definitely pick, since it has that traditional Japanese basis to it and it makes me think what I'd first think when I think of Japanese culture.

I really like Goldenrod City because of the 'big city' feel it gives off. It has many buildings, a casino with some cheery music, a sketchy underground area, and a railroad system that connects to Kanto.

Ecruteak has always been my favorite. I like everything about it. The music, the lore, the two towers, the gym leader, the Kimono girls...plus that's the starting point where you can get closer to getting an Eevee, aha. When I think of Johto, I always think of Ecruteak first. I think that's part of what always pulls me back into GSC, along with the art style, but that's another topic for another day.
