I'm using adobe photoshop :_; i'm betraying paint but I'm using paint to colour

Why does everyone use photoshop to draw? Paint has a draw tool too. You do a basic sketch, put darker/thicker lines using the curve and line tools and then clean it up. Then color it. You get the same look.

Well I dont, I either use mspaint or Paintshop pro which IMO is much better and easier than a difficult, complicated program like Photoshop.
Unfortunately, these days I depend on PSP to do my art stuff, to do the final lineart, the shrinking and the compression. (plus PSP, you can undo as many times as you want unlike Photoshop XP)
Still, mspaint pwns all, especially when you know tricks.
In fact one of the finest works that could be created on mspaint are located through here
This picture is better than anything you could do in Photoshop, but it looks like it took FOREVER. (oh yeah, I should mention MOST of it was probably made in a program like mspaint, the paths look like they had noise added to them)

Paint is like the best for Pixel art, but if you want serious GFX then you need the PSP and PS like programs.

Well...my excuse is I use Photoshop merely as a cooring tool is all. Other than that I could care less bout it.....and here's an example of something I did in paint.

Unfortunately because I was an inexperienced nimrod, I saved it in JPEG. >_< So I apologize for the way it's all.....bleh. But this is the first true thing I ever made useing Paint.

click just beneath the 8x zoom thing and the bottom of the box its hard but you zoom in more and its usefull

I know a few! Like... if you hold right click while the eraser is being used, it'll change the color in the first slot to the color in the second slot!
