Nah, givin up's for wimps. Besides, there's no wrong side to the argument. Not EVing is fine, EVing is fine. They're as much battling styles as anything else.

Greene, not EVing is the game norm. My ideas are not way over the top. If it wasn't for things like the Smogon article, this wouldn't be a problem.
PS: Not EVing isn't nooby. EVing means you're so hardcore that you really have nothing better to do than do a crapload of math for stats for a game. IT'S JUST A GAME. Don't take it so seriously.

Not EVing isn't n00by, it just gives you zero reason to be a gym leader in the first place. The whole point of competitive battling is making your pokemon as good as possible, and without EV training it will just end up as a random battle, siince you can't predict if your oponent is faster that you, if their base speed is about the same. For example a pokemon with a moveset from a smogon article, would often have EVs as that article recomended. Without this, you can never be sure if your pokemon will survive an attack, or if it'll harm or outspeed the opponent.

Well, that's where you need ACTUAL STRATEGY, the whole point of battling. Competitive battling wasn't made for "OMG I gots to EV my Pokemon all week or it ain't worth ****", it's supposed to be "oh jeez, he used that move? how should i counter? hmm....."

- dr4g0n12 (Powerful Gym) :

The gym name is not detailed enough. What pokemon are you going to use? Pokemon, that have a high ATK-Value? Pokemon, that have "muscles" (like Machamp, Hariyama, ...)? I also need more details at your Rules.

- Gengar Master (Multitype Gym)

Just list the standard tiers and standard clauses.

- Iyo (Trade gym)

Are you sure that you can build up a very good team with that kind of gym?
Just choose the pokemon that you`re going to choose and VM your team to me.
I`ll check it and delete the VM, so nobody will see your team.

Do you mean ALL Legendaries (including Ubers) or not?
If you decide to include all Ubers, then I would change your kind of gym, because no gym leader uses Uber, like Arceus, Giratina, Dialga, Palkia, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, etc. Just take a look at my Gym Clauses. You`ll find a list of all ubers there.
And BTW, I would edit your clause too, because you allow Users to use Ubers (like Arceus, Giratina and stuff), to use One-Hit KO Attacks (like Geofissure), to use Moves like Double Team, Sand Attack, Minimize, etc. Without that rules, winning against you will be a cakewalk.

I know, many guys know what standard rules are. But if a new user challenges you, then you can avoid that he`s asking : "What are the standard rules?", by listing the clauses and a short description (like I do) - or you can also say "Clauses : The same clauses that are listed at Piplup-Trainers/Lady Gagas Gym".

1. Winged Beasts. Thats just flying types and dragons. How easy is that? 2. Take out your own rules. The challenger can not change his/her team once he/she is facing the E4, so his/her team may not accomidate for your rules. Sorry.

Lets see if Piplup accepts you. He probably will, since he has been accepting everybody, even though not every single person deserves the spot.

No what Code said is spot on. You can't counter moves, you counter Pokemon. The strategy of Pokemon is prediction and synergy. As Code said without EV's everything is unpredictable and you can't even second guess what to do next so you have to just go with it and choose your strongest move, again, we are back in the jungle. But I am not ging to argue with you because you will never see another person's point of view, it has always been that way since you joined here, and all I can say about that is good luck to you because you will never learn or improve with that attitude.

And Gaga, if you are making recommendations on gyms the Piplup and need a second opinion or a referee, you know who you can count on.

Okay, if you know whats good for you and your league, you should seriously consider taking out these gyms:

Powerful Pokemon Gym
Multi-type Gym
Legend Gym

They are unoriginal, and really can let them use any pokemon they want. No originality at all. Please, PLEASE take them out. Also, take out all of the E4 (except the green-color). Black Pyramid? Again, unoriginal, I know all he is gonna use is like a Salamence team and stuff. Really stupid. Also, both his and the oothers E4s rules state that they need to fight specific pokemon, but that cant happen since the Challenger can not change their team once they are facing the E4. So, please, please, please, please take them out. It would make your League so much better.

Oh! An idea! How about the gyms be creative ones, like Trade, Baby, Turtle, etc..., and then the E4 be color based! Green, Red, Blue, and Yellow! (like the 4 original Pokemon games. Maybe even each can have Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, and Raichu respectively)...

These are just my ideas, but if you use them, I guarantee that eveybody will like the changes, and more people would come to challenge your league. Thats coming from a fellow Gym Leader! :]

Also, I believe the Winged Beasts E4 not that original. Thats Legendary Birds, Salamence, basically every Dragon and Flying type. Though, I would love to have Painter with us, so maybe a change in theme?
