4th Gen The "My most annoying moment was.." Thread

Catching a Chansey. Took me about half an hour when it had 1 or 2 HP left and I kept putting it to sleep, then it would use Softboiled and heal itself. That was pretty annoying.

I save every 15 minutes or so, or whenever I have done something good, like catch a Pokemon
 
Mine was when I EV trained my Dragonite (Dratini at the time) I virtually had finished it when I put it down for just a few seconds to answer the phone, and when I came back my evil ass 'friend' had taken the game out and started playing Mario Kart :disappoin Obviously I didnt think about saving because I was just answering the phone.
 
I tried like 20 or 30 times to catch Giratina, then i tried again and caught it with a great ball on the first turn...why couldnt theat have happened earlier?!?!
 
looking for a skorupi in safari zone and encountering a shiny psyduck, i threw a safari ball, it shook 2 times popped open and the psyduck fled :(

that is really sad,i mean a shiny at the Safari Zone is pretty rare to see! !
 
Well..

After hours of waiting beside of Honey Tree, a cascoon appeared. x.x
 
Eh, I dunno...trying to beat Cynthia's Bronzong without a Fire-type, I guess. It kept killing everybody...I had to use 15 Revives just to beat it. Good thing the rest were much easier.
 
I was EV training against Raichu. (and lots of them) So, I have about 50 EVs stored up, and when I raise one level, I only get 2 Speed EVs, which is what I was training for. I saved and turned my DS off right there. D:

hey that happen to me but it wasn't at the safari, I was searching for a female Skarmory and it toke a long for a Skarmory to pop out and they kept on being male.Then later on a Shiny Skarmory popped out but I accidentally killed it by using Flare Blitz:(
 
Uhh... Not annoying but I accidently wing attack'd a shiny Ponyta and I realized she was blue when she was fainting. >.> But I guess that's better than a fleeing shiny cough like that shiny Grimer in Crystal. Girls don't like me or what? D;

Another bad thing was when I went into a double battle against two Darkrai and I watched my team die from sleep and bad dreams. 8D

Anyways, I've posted it twice, I chained Buneary to 40 two times and no shiny patches ever popped up...
 
Mine would have to be Cathing regigias. It toosk me like 5 tries (yes thats alot for me i almost always catch the first time). Almost all of those times I OHKO that "uber". After killing it 3 time in a row I gave up then came back once or twice to catch it.
 
The biggest let down was chaining a scyther. A grass patch sparkled about 5 steps away. I forgot to use repel and ran into a wild pokemon while I was a step away. So pissed!!!!
 
My most annoying moment in Diamond and Pearl, actually in any pokemon game, is that my unskilled older sister always encounters shinies. Being the emptyheaded sister she is, she usually starts over the game with the shinies in them only to find more shinies in her next game. For example: she catches golden magikarp in silver, she catches shiny lotad and spinda in emerald and encounters a shiny swablu and nincada. In fact, just two days ago, she encountered a shiny W unown only to KO it with a critical hit. As for me, I once chained 36 jigglypuffs only to have a jigglypuff end my chain. Also, I caught a shiny tentacool and volbeat. But I traded my volbeat for something else and received a shiny pichu off the GTS. So its:

Also, its not the fact that she got shinies before me, she got the pokerus before me and didn't even know it!!! Also she had it not once, but twice! Once in ruby and now in emerald. I only have it in Pearl.

Having two chances to kill a Skarmory with a Choice Band Paralyzed Guts Heracross. Got Paralyzed on both of my attempts. Skarmory was paralyzed the whole battle but never hit paralysis.
 
I died to a DD Gyrados. On Wifi Battle tower. On the 99th person.
 
Ok mine is now catching Azelf. Must have took me at least an hour. No matter what I did, it just would not be captured.

I put it to sleep, paralyzed it, made it fall in love with me, everything. I finally got it when it's HP was in orange, which was weird
