First Update!
Since I can only get Pikachu and Spearow before Brock's Gym in LeafGreen, Im also using a Bulbasaur (who I'll release after I've beaten Lt. Surge)

This is my team:
Pear (Bulbasaur) Lv.14
Chuchu (Pikachu) Lv.11
Potato (Spearow) Lv.11

I know Potato and Chuchu are weak, so I'll be training like crazy in order to fix that once I'm in Mt. Moon.

Update time! It's a long one.
-started with chimchar
-boxed him as soon as I caught a budew(Rosa) and shinx(Nala)
-beat Barry for the 1st time
-swept the 1st gym with Rosa
-beat team Galactic with my evolved Nala
-beat 2nd gym with Nala as well
-taught Rosa cut
-beat team Galactic again
-after going through the cycling route I caught a stunky(Pepe) and a bronzor(Zory)
-got the good rod and caught a finneon(Fiona)
-swept the 3rd gym with Zory
-Rosa and Nala double-teamed the 4th gym(they evolved into a roselia and luxray while doing so)
-beat Barry again
-after beating the Celestic town grunt Fiona evolved into a lumineon
-Pepe learned night slash(just in time for the 5th gym)

I might do a video and commentary but that's just a maybe. So just an update.

-I chose my name - [S-HIGHLIGHT]Julian[/S-HIGHLIGHT] and my rivals - [S-HIGHLIGHT]Jeffery[/S-HIGHLIGHT].
-I chose Charmander and Jeffery chose Squirtle.
-I beat Jeffery
-I trained to level 12 and got ember in the process.
-Beat Jeffery near Indigo Plateau
-Delivered Oak's package
-"Learned" from the Old Man.
-Went into Viridian Forest and beat everyone there and trained to level 16
-Prevented Evolution (Not allowed 'til Gym 3 :/)
-Got Metal Claw
-Beat Brock's first guy, healed
-Beat Brock with my Metal Claw :)
-Got running shoes
-Beat the road of trainers and got up to level 20.
-Smokescreen replaces Growl.
-Saved out of Mt. Moon.

PS: I've hacked it so I got the Everstone so I don't need to prevent evolution every time :) Sorry.

On way to bug contest and training Grapes to be a Crobat

So this will be my first update for the Mystery Dungeon Challenge in HeartGold:

Spoiler:

1. Badge
- I chose Totodile as my starter and did all of the stuff in the beginning of the game
- when I got my first Pokéball I immediately caught a Pidgey Lvl. 2, put Totodile into the box in the PC and leveld up my Pidgey
- went to Violet City and traded a Bellesprout I just caught for an Onix Lvl. 3
- I trained Onix to about Lvl. 10 and entered Bellesprout Tower to face the head-monch
- after Bellesprout Tower I challenged Falkner with a Lvl. 12 Onix and a Lvl. 15 Pidgey

2. Badge
- left Violet City to make my way to Azalea City, I caught a Marrep Lvl. 6 on Route 32
- I trained Mareep to Lvl. 10 and rushed through Union Cave, bashing every trainer inside
- I got to Azalea City, I owned Team Rocket and entered the gym afterwards
- Bugsy was a bit more of a challenge with his Scyther, but I was able to beat him with Screech from Onix and Gusts by Pidgey
- I beat my Rival for the second time when I left Azalea City
