4th Gen The NEW game should be the last

with the birth of being able to battle and trade with people around the world from are own homes.I dbout this is the last game.actually far from it.New pokemon,new stories.With the killing pokemon still makes.don't expect it to just stop because some people have complaints about the new pokemon.because the bottom line is more people are gonna buy it and play it.including alot of the people that complain about it so why should they ever stop when the money is doing a good job convincing them otherwise?

Okay, just to clarify a couple things:
1. Rupp, you could have given us those sites about a month ago for platinum, old news buddy.
2. Please, please, please...don't get me wrong! I like the idea of the new games; they are fun and addicting! They're just so god dang repetitive!!!
3. I agree with the whole 'marketeering' concept, and things like Bidoof definetly have to go. BIDOOF?! Get a grip, Nintendo...you gave us a retard-badger-thing. At least it evolves into something useful, if you watch the anime...

I do like the idea of a 'go to outerspace' kinda thing, but it would just be screwed up by Nintendo again:
"Oh, hello! Welcome to Mars! Here's a starter and, while you're at it, now go fight some gyms. IN SPACE!!!" yeah, alot different, ain't it?
But i really want to see a beat-every-region concept or at least make a region that gives a different perspective for you:
Be a Gym Leader, Be a Co-ordinator, Be a monkey in a barrel, you get my point, right?
 
LOL saying that Nintendo should stop Pokemon, you might as well tell them to stop Super Mario and Legend of Zelda while your at it, Nintendo arn't going to stop one of there best selling series, also Nintendo arn't ones to back away from a winning formula, I mean how many times now has Mario had to save Peach from Bowser?, How many times has Link had to search for the Master Sword and the Tri-Force so he can save Hyrule from Gannondorf?, face it once Nintendo get a basic plot for a game series they find it hard to let go.

The RSE and DPP Pokemon were created at the same time. in an interview back when R/S were first released, they said they has abou 1000+ Unused Pokemon ideas. So saying the RSE Pokemona re more Creative than the DPP Pokemon is kinda moot.

I'm pretty sure the reason why 3rd Gen has no new Evolutions(But 2 Pre-evolutions) was because these new evolutions wouldn't be able to inherit the Previous Stages's ast/2nd Gen only moves. in DP, the new evolutions can get 3rd Gen only Moves (Specifically, 3rd Gen Event Moves, FRLGE Move Tutor Moves, and XD Moves)
 
Pokemon still needs to make a game that has all the regions,
But even if platinum has all the regions,(it wont)
I still hope they make one more game.
 
Doesn't anyone else want a game kinda like SSBB where you get to fight realtime and not turn based? I mean sure taking turns is more strategic but i honestly think real time would be a lot better. It was totally cool to see stuff like Charizard using Flamethrower and Squirtle Rapid spinning (Although he made me lose several matches, Rapid Spin is so hard to control)
 
In a nutshell, as long as the fanbase remains strong, Pokemon will not be ending any time soon.

Though...
-Personally, I want to see a console Pokemon RPG worth buying to be made sometime soon.
-Let's see a G/S remake, seeing as Pokemon was at it's peak during those two games.
-They shouldn't have made Arceus the "creator" of all Pokemon, which basically hints at it being the "god".
-Team [insert name here] should stop using Zubats, Geodudes, and other 1HKO'able Pokemon and actually provide challenge.
-Needs more challenge in general. I defeated the Elite 4 in Diamond with 4x and a few 5x Pokemon, even though Cynthia practically has a 7x Garchomp.
-Games need more depth at this point.
-And one last thing, the battle animations should be improved, seeing as standard sprites are kinda boring now. The battles should be a little more cinematic, but still fast paced.

Well, there's a list of my complaints. xP With so much left to improve on, I really don't think Platinum should be last. [and trust me, it won't be]
 
You know what? I think the Legend of Zelda series should end. I mean, come on. How many times can they use Link? He's been a normal teenager, a ten year old kid, a cartoon, even a freakin wolf. Seriously, don't you think the should give it up? I mean, come on,

1- It's one of Nintendo's best selling series ever
2- It's making Nintendo filthy rich
3- there are a gazillion fans
4- Believe it or not, more people are born every day, which means there are new fans coming, which means more money!

They should retire Mario too, for the same reason. And pokemon. Who needs those series? We can make new series that no one will want!


...Do you see how ridiculous it is to say pokemon will end? Look at the anime. The effing thing is NEVER GOING TO END! If running out of ideas would be the reason for pokemon to stop, the anime would have ended halfway through Hoenn.

So no, pokemon is going to last FOH-EV-AH unless video games go out of style, or like, Japan's hit by atom bombs again.
 
I don't think pokemon will end this soon.
It'll keep on continuing, well it should not stop in my opinion.
Pokemon has just got to continue and with more regions.

Yeah Pokemon should still continue. Another reason why too is that Nintendo still hasn't done a Johto remake!!!
 
Well, Mr. Interuptive, i thank you for taking away from our pleasurable disagreement with a question totally UNRELATED!!! LOL, i am so just playin' with ya' bud. To answer:
1. Yeah, i suppose it is pretty accurate. Kanto and Johto should be switcherooed, and the Sevii Islands are below Kanto(to my knowledge at least)
2. Well, i am kinda shocked that you weren't edumacated on the other regions outside the usual trio games. The Sevii Islands are 7(get it? Sevii-Seven?) in Kanto that were put in during Leafgreen/Firered to make it a remake with new features and in the manga to introduce Deoxys. Orre was the region from the Colloseum games for Gamecube, and Fiorre is the region from the Ranger series(For now. Ranger 2 will have ANOTHER new region, Arumia, and more will be on the way...)

Well, now that i have settled that, i still think that the whole Arceus-Is-God thing was too much for one game. It really has narrowed down the possibilites a bit, in my opinion. Unless we tunnel under the Underground(imagine THAT in Platinum lol) or go find a region in space where Deoxys is only a common Pokemon, Nintendo has dug its own grave...And in that grave they will be haunted by the souls of a million Bidoofs!!!
Oh, and i last thing: Why are we always TEN?! Can we please be our age, as in pick-your-age features? I mean, we can't be ten forever. Even Ash knows it, and he's secretly, like, thirty by now!!!
 
i hope it never stops. i woudnt have a reason to tell poeple i memorized every pokemon
 
Of course Platinum shouldn't be the last...I for one hope they don't stop at all. What I want to see the most right now, however, is a remake of Gold, Silver, and Crystal. But even after that I hope to God they don't stop....so...erm...yeah that's all I really had to say...hope I didn't ramble on too much...
 
arceus sucks i beat a whole team of 6 of them with just my tyranitar even though there was a fighting type one (mega effective) and a water type.
 
The games sell. As long as they sell, it's not like Nintendo needs to come up with new ideas frequently. Don't fix what ain't broken, bro. D8
 
Okay, pal, Arceus don't suck! Take a look at that fight; a team of 6 Arceus?! You fought some hacked ?Arcei? dude! And when it comes to fixing what isn't broken, what could they plan next? They wanted Areus to be the creator, higher on the chain than Mew, and now they have to fix ANOTHER problem. As i said, Nintendo is digging its own grave and is finding it hard to get out...I feel that we'll see either a 6 gen or Johto remakes, and then we can kiss the games farewell.
 
I dont, as many others, want Pokémon dying, but we all know this is getting repetitive. I think this should be the last generation as well. But we will all miss Pokémon as it was. I think they should totally remake the features. Scrap the same storyline they've had for years or at least make it different. Focus more on competitive battles instead of having trainers using six Magikarp. Tons of things could be made. I would really want the next game to be incredibly different from the others, just keeping the same battle system. And they could also the opportunity to fix a few things such as having both Nidoran in the same Dex Entry and ordering it by evolutions again.

But, in the way we all know Pokémon games, Platinum (because a G/S remake will probably never come out) should be the last game.
