I think in the original gold and silver...you could only play as a boy. But In crystal I think you had the option of being a boy or girl.

I like her.

Lyra's cute! ^_^ Then again, I've never played Crystal, Gold, or Silver, but Kris seems pretty cool, too. Lyra's hat is the only thing I can see when I'm playing as her (on SS, not HG), but at least it's cool, so I don't mind! ^_^

Her overworld sprite is terrible; her pigtails are HUGE.

As for trainer card sprite and battle sprite, it's cute, but it doesn't give a reason why her overworld has such huge hair :s

She always calls me telling her Marill evolved into an Azumarill, but it never does. Guess she mashed the B button. o0
