Hi guys Im new to this forum, I have had some experience in forums. I play yugioh tcg and am now expanding to pokemon, I have some old pokemon cards because I used to play when I was younger but now I am trying to get back into the game and I am wondering how do you tell which cards are legal and which cards are not?
i kno the sets that are legal

HeartGold SoulSilver
HGSS Unleashed
HGSS Undaunted
HGSS Triumphant
Call of Legends
Black & White
Black Star Promos numbered HGSS01 and higher
Black Star Promos numbered BW001 and higher

but how do you tell if a card is from these sets?

thanks guys I am looking forward to getting to kno all of you and becoming as competitive at pokemon as I am at yugioh lol because it seems to be a better game in general.

Hello there, and welcome to PC! I am not too much into the TCG, but I do own quite a bit of classic cards (all if not all from Generation I).
