Do you think May's relationship with combusken will be affected if combusken evolves into a blaziken?
Nah I mean ya know when torchic evolved to combusken may wasn't really that affected...so same as combusken to blaziken I guess...but it depends if may likes blaziken more than a combusken XP

Yeah I have to agree with Typhlomence on that. Like how Charmander was the greatest friends with Ash but then once he evolved it changed. Kinda the same like Combusken & Torchic. They may love May now but then later Blaziken is too overpowered so May can't control it...

Never would have thought of that if Typhlomence didn't bring it up :)

Maybe, not too sure. I think it would affect contests the most. Blaziken gives off a whole different appeal to Combusken if you ask me. She may need a change in strategy for Blaziken.

One thing's for sure, Team Rocket would stand even less of a chance than they already have.

good point. I guess now May has adapted to combusken's new features, but that could mean that she wouldn/t be accustomed to using a blaziken in contests- WHEN or even IF combusken evolves, that is....

Quite right but then again Ash lost it when he evolved for the first time Charmander==>Charmeleon but may has already gone through to Torchic==>Combusken==>Blaziken and I think that because Combusken is may's first pokemon it might not...did you see when ash's grovyle==>Sceptile??*faints*
