going to viridian city
obntained pokeballs in viridian city
heading toward viridian forest.
looking for a pikachu in the forest
caught pikachu named it pika.
went to pokecenter in viridian and deposed schiq
frying pidgeys just outside of the forest.
moving into the forest
pika learnt quick attack
caught a pikachu named it chuka.

Walking through the rock tunnel and even though i fainted ebfore i happen to run into people that i didnt ran in before.. especially hikers >_<

went to prism city and got a few thunderstones. evolved two of my pikachus to Raichu.(Kapi and chuka)

Beat giovanni in his hideout.

acquired an eevee.
battled in the karate dojo and won an hitmonchan ^^

Going to poketower and beat Blau in it. renamed two of my pokemon.

finsihed the tower and got caught a snorlax

messing around a bit in fuchsia city andgot strenghts and surf .

finsihed koga which means i can finally go to the eletctricity plant ^^
took to hm slaves(cut/surf) on.

catching a couple of pokemon ^^

I am in the gym of saffron city now and i am appalled by the young trainers 'seeings' oh no 'you want to challenge sabrina' oh boy how hard to detect lol. I rememeebr though that somehow the R/B enemies always had like endless pp ?anyway.

Left Pewter city after buying a bunch of potions.
Fought all trainers on the way to Mt. Moon.
Fought my way through Mt. Moon, caught a Paras and called it 'Shroom'.
Picked up the Helix Fossil.
Cleared Mt. Moon.

So... I am going to take on Giovannis gym now.

sort of an academic question, at least for now until i finish my current GSC water run. if i were to make a run using only nidoking/nidoqueen, could i get credit for both ground AND poison runs?

well, in any case, i'm starting my run through Blue with only one of each of the nido- families.

i picked squirtle as my starter, but he's been relegated to the sidelines since i caught a female and a male nidoran. their queenly and kingly nicknames are Cleopatra and Leonidas--or, as i thought about calling them, Cleo and Leo. they're so much more adorable with royally and phonetically themed nicknames.

Grind in Viridian Forest, learn Slam, beat Brock. Time-consuming but easy.
And Electabuzz is in the Power Plant, not in the Cinnabar Mansion, and it's a Red exclusive

Ready to go on Victory Road, here's a recap

A very interesting occurrence on Victory Road. I was fighting the Cool Trainer with Bellsprout, Weepinbell, and Victreebel. I had Nidoking use Thrash, and he took out the first two before leaving Victreebel with just a little HP. Victreebel then put him to sleep. I thought at this point that, since 3 turns had passed, I'd use Poke Flute and wake him up. But it was like the game thought Nidoking was still thrashing because it then cycled through "Leonidas is fast asleep" and "Enemy Victreebel used Razor Leaf—critical hit!" This went on for 4 turns without me being able to do anything. Finally, Leonidas woke up, but it was too late and the Victreebel used a fifth Razor Leaf to take him out.

Also, during the E4 run, Leonidas used Thrash for FOUR straight turns while taking out Bruno's Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee. I thought three was the max. Come to think of it, I think this whole game has always been at least 3 turns. I don't think it ever ended after two turns, unless the battle ended after two. Any input on this?
