Hey all! im not new to pokemon like many here, but im new to pokemon community sites...like...most here hehe. i have always had a soft spot for pokemon and i think spending time with others who enjoy it like me is good :) and if you want to battle me i will run far because im not ready yet haha...EV training.. -.- ..new to me and its slow...

I'm pretty sure that the hacking tools you need are much of the same ones, regardless of what gen you're hacking. For tools, and tutorials you should probably look into this area, and this place as well, as it'll have a lot of what you're looking for. Good place to get started, so good luck with your hack, Ho-oh. ^^

Hello folks. I've been hesitant to join up, given the apparent scale of this place (one large messageboard is good enough for me) but I've encouraged to join by someone irritated at having to pass on all my ROM hacking questions.

So I suppose that if I'm here for that, I should be here for the rest of it too. I don't know how many people here also post at BMG as well, but I go by "Champion Lance" over there. I'm making my greeting here because a welcome thread seems too self-indulgent. :p

Hi everybody!

My name is Itistheriz. I've been working a few hacks here and there when I decided to hack the series I really love.. the 3rd gen of pokemon.

I'm working on a complete new dex, and will post pics soon of my progress!

I've been checking out these forums, especially ROM hacking, and decided to join.
Hopefully, I'll soon finish my first hack, Pokemon Thunderstorm, which I've made for family and friends.
Happy to be here, and looking forward to meeting everyone!
 
Just dropping by to say "Hey".

So... Hey.

I'm mostly here due to interest in game development, so that is where I will be heavily concentrating my focus. I'll still be popping in and out of other areas too, though, I'm sure. I registered after downloading RMXP, finding out about Pokemon Essentials afterwards, and messing around for a while. After a few days of getting the scripting and editing down on my own, I decided I wanted to learn more. Eventually, that lead to me joining up here. So, yeah.

You're making a ROM hack aswell?
I am too.
But I need a Fakemon Spriter, and someone that can use A-Text. (My computer won't make it work. D;)
