"Well, how do you feel about busing tables? Being a waitress, I mean. You'd work the first two shifts of the day and have the rest free. And it's none too hard, you just write down what they say and go tell Charlie. Then you bring what he makes out." She shrugged, knowing that she was over-explaining.

"Awesome. You can have one of the empty apartments upstairs. Try not to walk into the one Aoi took; I'm not sure if he locked it or not." Marcy downed the rest of her champagne and rinsed out the glass so she could have some later. "I'm going out for a bit. Try not to break anything, guys."

She wandered out into the city streets and took a left, quickly disappearing from view.

[FRIEND OF SAMMY HERE. Hope you don't mind the fact that that  personality is really tl;dr. I just made this character for another  Pokemon roleplay forum so all I did was copy his personality  from that since he's my new main character.  :I  Hope you don't mind me]

Full Name: Elias Griffin

Age: 23

Gender: Male

Species/Physical Appearance: Elias is just your average, every day human  being. He's not special or anything and he may have a pretty face, but  he's not too outstanding. The boy has messy brown hair with a light  brown fedora resting softly amongst it. Brand new bandages are wrapped  around his head from a recent injury, but they have grown loose and  fallen below his eye given him a rather distinct look. His face isn't  very sharp for a 23 year old male, but that's due to the fact that  despite the amount of sports he does, Elias doesn't exercise much. He  stands about 5 feet and nine inches and weighs just one hundred and  thirty three pounds. He's got an average build for someone who use to  partake in buildering. You can normally find him wearing a dress shirt  and a casual pair of pants. His eyes are a nice shade of auburn with  perfect 20/20 eyesight.

Personality: You would never have expected that Elias, being the  injury-prone human he is, was once a professional assassin working for a  rather well-known group of street rats in Castelia City. At least,  considering how much of a klutz he is these days, constantly injuring  himself in one way or another. That should be expected considering he's  the guy who's the first to take up the dares and always pushing himself  past his limits. It's completely unlike the agile and skillful teenager  he once was. It's a shock that he hasn't yet suffered from brain damage  due to the amount of times he's banged his head on one thing or another.

Ever since Elias was a kid he's never liked reading, or anything like it  for that matter and he's always had an odd distaste for poem. Due to  the fact that Elias only attended school up to the age of ten, that's  the extent of his history knowledge and math. When it comes to writing,  though, Elias was trained to forge signatures and he can pass quite a  few different writing styles. He's never liked having to read back over  his work, though and would rather play videos, preferably shooters or  racers.

Elias is quite the looker, the kind of person that you would expect to  attract all the girls. No, instead he somehow manages to attract guys  whenever he attends bars. Elias has always had a hard time with holding a  relationship and whenever he manages to end up in one he has such a  difficult time ending them when he no longer feels love for his  girlfriend. Due to this he can sometimes be accused as being a heart  breaker. Not only that, but he's become rather skittish around women, in  the terms of uncomfortable whenever he senses one of them flirting with  him, the same goes for men. On the other case, if you can manage to get  him drunk, something he's long since given up since his days as a  rebel, then he will go along with both the men and women.

If there's one thing that Elias can say he loves the most, it's  buildering. It was a bit of a fun skill Elias picked up during his life  as an assassin, but even though Elias has made an attempt to put all  those memories behind him this is one thing he's stuck with. The young  adult feels much more at home scaling the sides of buildings than  walking along the ground. During his days as a part of the gang, they  had two choices, parkour or buildering. A majority of Elias' companions  picked parkour, but Elias wanted something different and decided to go  with buildering. His mentor taught him how to climb up the sides of  buildings (nothing like pure glass ones, but more of the ones with rocks  and such jutting out). He started out having to use ropes and cords to  help him out, but eventually he didn't even need those and could  skillfully scale the sides of them.

Life on the streets was extremely rough for Elias, even after he finally  found a place he could live somewhat safely in. When Elias was a kid,  his mentor told him to never have friends, so thus Elias lived a rather  lonely childhood. He never knew his mother, nor his father, and hated  people who would talk about their family. The brown-haired adult has  also had a distaste for rich people who would always complain about  everything. He normally laughs off their complaints or just changes the  subject, but since he's rarely had anything in his entire life it makes  him rather uncomfortable.

Around his friends, Elias is quite talkative. He's the guy who can hold a  conversation and always manages to have something to talk about. He can  sometimes say a little too much, but he means well and likes making  people laugh. He learned a lot from the cocky moments of his past, and  since then he's more laidback about battles and such. Unfortunately,  Elias absolutely sucks at giving advice as he can never seem to keep a  deadpan nature. The young adult will try to be supportive, but he  normally overanalizes the situation and thinks he knows more about  what's going on then he actually does. Since he's not too good with  handling the negative emotions of others, though his joking nature may  make him come off as inconsiderate it's really just his way of trying to  cheer them up. It's just a cover-up for the fact that Elias, himself,  hates showing depressing emotions and he sometimes worries that if he  gives it to others he'll show a side of himself that he doesn't want  others to see.

Now nobody who is an ex-killer is without their little quirks. When it  comes to death, although Elias tries to be sympathetic since he knows  it's a sensitive subject, but he's experienced plenty of death and has  grown numb to the subject. Although he changed much of his personality  to oppose lots of what he use to do, he couldn't change the fact that he  doesn't feel anything when other people die.

Anything Else: He's an ex-assassin who use to work for a guild called GHOST. He left the guild when he was twenty after his heart was broken by a girl. Kenzie (Kennie) is a girl from another guild that he later fell in love with and he has a strong attachment to her.

-------------

There was a thud, then the sound of metal clanging against itself as a  body found itself thrown into a clutter of paint cans placed against the  wall. The adult male was dazed for a second as he gathered up his  bearings, but he was quick to get back on his feet and curse. "****. What the hell was that?!"  He lifted a bruised hand to rub his throbbing skull, pain seeming to  radiate from every crevice of his body. His beady brown eyes hopped from  one corner of the room to another as he identified his new  surroundings, trying to pinpoint just what happened. The basement he  found himself staggering about seemed to have been occupied by a number  of people in the more recent hours of his arrival, but that was merely  the least of his worries. "I could have sworn I was with just with Kennie and then...Oh whatever, might as well check this place out." Elias then found himself trudging up the shadowed staircase and into a bustling group of people. Most noticeable was a girl, probably around the age of 17, impatiently pacing along the floor of the bar. Her appearance reminded him somewhat of Kennie, so she was his first target, a soft smile playing across his lips as he made his way over to her and greeted himself with a simple wave. "Hey you." Not the nicest of introductions, but then again Elias was known more for his joking nature than being polite. "Mind telling me just where I am?"

Sammy was still pacing the area when she heard a voice behind her.

"Hey you. Mind telling me just where I am?"

Finally, someone new here... it's about time. Sammy thought to herself. She whipped around, to come face to face with a young man, whose face had bandages under the eyes. "To be honest, I don't really know where I'm at also. All I know is that it's called the Nightclub. I guess if you want more information, you could speak to Marcy, the bartender. She disappeared a while earlier and I haven't seen her since." Sammy felt uncomfortable around the man, so she quickly headed to the kitchen to wash dishes for the hopefully busy day ahead, hoping the man wouldn't follow her.

Character: Hydra
Location: Nightclub, Corner Table

Talk about the "portal" connecting back to each's own world, talk of jobs, talk of newcomers... It seemed as though all sorts of things were happening. Taking on a job actually sounded like a good idea, but who'd want a girl with fish-like and reptile-like parts? Hydra flicked her tail back and forth in a hectic way. Man, am I thirsty. Seems the barkeep's busy, though, so I'll have to get myself some water. Heck, with all this stuff happening, I doubt I'd be caught. And if I were, well, it's just water, right?

Almost immediately Hydra got out of her seat and snuck behind the bar counter. She held onto her tail and kept her ears tucked in so that she wouldn't be seen. Noticing where the glasses were kept, Hydra picked out a nice glass meant for beer and filled it with purified water. I suppose so long as I'm down here I can keep drinking more and more, she thought to herself.

[Yeyyyyyy ~~~~I luff mai sewaddle <33]

Character: Elias Griffin
Location: Nightclub, At the bar

With a frown replacing the smile upon his face, Elias tugged at the tip of his tan fedora. The hat had been a gift from a friend many years ago and had yet to leave his sight. "Wait, so did you fall through some weird kind of portal, too?" He shook his head, thinking over what has just happened to him. "Who's this Marcy girl, anyway? If you haven't seen her around how do you expect me to find her. I've barely been here for a-wait don't walk off I've got more questions." The auburn haired man failed to pick up on the sense of discomfort coming from the younger girl. He was quick to pick up pace behind her as she moved towards the kitchen. "Well it's not like I've got anything better to do so why not get to know each other? It's good to have familiar faces to go back to,  right?" If he was going to talk to someone, he might as well get himself acquainted with them.

As he waited for a response, Elias' eyes traveled across the bar and caught sight of a tail. Before he could really catch a bearing of it the tail was moved away from his line of sight and the girl picked up a beer glass. It'd been years since he'd picked up a glass of beer in a bar. Not since 'the incident' that he'd prefer to keep under wraps.

Character: Aoi
Location: Nightclub, Upstairs in bed

Aoi woke up but didn't open his eyes. He thought he just had a bad dream. "Aw man..." He said rubbing his back "That was some bad drea-" He opened his eyes and realized it wasn't a dream "Crap... Just go with the plan... Just do what I've been trained to do in these situations... Figure out everything I can and act appropriately..." Aoi walked downstairs and saw that Marcy wasn't there, neither was the weird guy but Sammy was pacing the floor. She seemed bored. There was also another kid asking her some questions. Another kid? Jeez, this one seemed rough and though.

"Wait, so did you fall through some weird kind of portal, too? Who's this Marcy girl, anyway? If you haven't seen her around how do you expect me to find her?"

Sammy sensed a bit more jollyness around this man, not the full seriouness from earlier. My, my, my. This little one is full of questions. That's nothing new. "I take it you came through the portal in the basement? As for me, I didn't. I just walked through the--" Sammy noticed Aoi coming down the stairs. "As I was saying, I walked through the front door. Aoi there-" She pointed, "-came through the portal also." Sammy took hold of a mug and then started vigorously scrubbing it. "Marcy is the main barkeep, and from what I gathered, the owner of this joint. She left on a walk in the city." This made Sammy stop. "Oh dear. Oh dear. Oh dear oh dear oh dear. I hope she didn't get lost!" Sammy started pacing very nervously, right in the bar area and into a wall, where she fell over and a bruise started forming on her forehead.

Character: Hydra
Location: Nightclub, Behind the Bar Counter

Hydra flinched when she heard the crash on the other side. She waited a few seconds before resuming to drink her water, just in case. Maybe this wasn't the best idea. It's times like these where I wished that that mustached king of ours gave us the power to change into our true forms. She carefully sipped her water, making sure not to make any sound that would give away her hiding spot.

Character: Aoi
Location: Nightclub, two feet away from the upstairs door

Aoi walked toward Sammy. "Don't worry, she'll be fine. And if she was lost I'd go find her." He looked at her bruise and smiled. "You need to be more careful." He started walking out the door "I'm gonna go train some kay? I'll go look for a dojo." He walked out the door and started for the city. It was a big place and it took him a while to find the dojo. He trained with the dojo master even though he had to hold back to not hurt him. It was some good practice so he decided to stay a while.

Elias eyes followed the girl's quick glance towards the stairs when a male descended down them. A light creaking noise could be heard from where he stood due to the wooden stair case that laid underneath the carpeting. "Aoi?" Elias repeated the other mans name. Finally another guy. For a while Elias was worried he'd be the only guy for the time. Though he was use to that from back where he came from during the "Girls Get In Free" nights at the bar he use to go to every week. "Heyyyy!" Elias offered a wave in the other girls direction calling her over to where he and Sammy stood. The more the merrier. His attention was drawn away from the girl until she mentioned the walk on the city and started nervously pacing back and forth. "I'm sure she fines. I think the owner of a bar would be able to take care of herself." He was fabricating an image of what she looked like in his mind and it may or may not be exactly what she was really like.

When Aoi walked over, Elias opened his mouth hoping to throw in a couple words, but instead the man was quick to depart. Something about a dojo, it'd been a while since Elias had been anywhere near one of those kind of places. "That guy's right," The brown-haired male stated, but before he could say anything more there was a loud crash (kind of like the noise he made when he was thrown through the portal) and he found himself staring down at the girl as she laid in a crumpled mess upon the floor. It was rude to laugh. Rude. Very-he let out a soft chuckle, unable to hold it back. "Don't look so down," He joked, offering out a hand to help her back on her feet.

Full Name: Rachel Natsumi

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Species/Physical Appearance:
Rachel appears to be a humanoid, but she is actually a manakete. Manaketes are another term for half-man, half-dragons. Rachel is not that short; she's not that tall eaither; she is, what she calls: "the perfect height for an individual suck as myself". Her hair is indigo colored that has long locks coming out from it, which is long enough to reach her mid-chest. Her long hair is supported by a crimson-red scrunchie that isn't too big, but not to small. Rachel also has crimson red eyes with a white skin tone color. She has pearly-white teeth, and has a bright-pink color skin-tone whenever she blushes.

She wears a light pink and mauve dress that is laces with white lining, and yellow ribbons. She wears a pearl necklace that her mother gave to her when she was really young, in which
Rachel would always wear it on her left hand. Serenity also wears long white dress socks, which are completed by black dress shoes, for she has a detest on wearing high heels, or running shoes. Her black dress shoes are laced together by white lining, and can be buckled by a single strap with a gold brace on each foot.

Her small wings stick out from her dress. They are a light brown color, with a clear texture that represents them.

Personality: Rachel behaves like a stereotypical upper-class individual, often looking down upon others with boredom, arrogance, snobbery and apathy. She speaks in a calm tone that tries to represent her overall intelligence, and slight snobbery towards others.

Anything Else:
Rachel always carries a dragon stone. The type of dragon formed is dependent on either the race of the wielder or the type of dragonstone used.

A black portal could be seen in front of the Nightclub entrance. Then there arose wings...from a mythical creature. As the black mist from the portal ceased, a indigo-haired girl could be seen with her eye-lids softly closed. A few seconds later, she slowly opens them again...reveling that she also had crimson-red eyes.

"Things have been so boring these days...I hope the humans can entertain me," the girl sighed as she then turned towards the Night Club entrance. "What's this...? Nightclub? Is this what humans do to entertain themselves? Hm...perhaps this might be my night after all..."

The girl slowly opened the Nightclub entrance door, as she stepped right in.
She looked around the atmosphere of the Nightclub, as she approached the front desk. Her draco-wings stretched out against the counter as she yawned.

"My, this is boastful entertainment..." she said. "...Even for Rachel. Hm."

Tara yawned and blinked, before looking at the clock. Looking and noticing the time she jumped up, before scrambling out of bed and putting on her usual clothes. She never got clothes that she should be wearing as a 'waitress', so for the time being she was just going to wear her usual clothing. After getting ready, she grabbed a notepad she found last night and tumbled downstairs, before looking around to see if there was any customers.

Noticing the girl with the draco wings, she watched her, waiting to see whether she was going to sit down, or go to the counter or something. The place, she had already noticed, is pretty crazy so anything could happen.

Rachel blinked upon meeting a human girl who had jeans and a red t-shirt. For now, she ignored her as she then slowly entered the night club.

She observed all of the chairs and tables all neatly organized and the bar counter that was properly cleaned. Rachel then sat down on one of the chairs with her draco-wings fluttered a lit. Then she turned back to the girl watching her.

"I apologize for the intrusion," Rachel said. "Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Rachel. Rachel of the manakete clan."

Location: City, Dojo

Aoi was sweating and tired. After an hour he decided the master of the dojo wasn't worth it. And practiced throwing ninja stars and he practiced his Taijustsu on a dummy. He decided to go back to the nightclub and see what was up. He walked all the way back to the nightclub. The walking had helped him catch his breath and he wasn't tired anymore. He saw two girls in the nightclub. A new girl who oddly enough had wings and another girl who was asking about jobs before he had to sleep. She must have became a waitress because she just asked the dragon girl what she wanted to order. Oddly enough Marcy still wasn't back. Oh well. She's just going on a walk.

"Hey." He said walking in "I don't know if you caught my name last night. I'm Aoi. Don't start any fights." He said then plopped into a chair near the middle of the nightclub.

Marcy crept rather guiltily through the main doors, half-hoping she would go unnoticed. This, however, was going to be rather unlikely since the addition of a few new patrons, so she just chose to announce herself. "Hi, everyone! Sorry I was away so long, I was just... um... well, that took longer than I thought it would." She coughed, slightly embarrassed, and sidled over to her bar, ending up behind it. "So who have we here?" she addressed the newcomers in general.
