Since 8th grade.

It's not a choice, though. From 1st-8th at the school I go to now, you have to take Spanish and German. Then in 9th grade and up, you get to choose. But because no one else in my grade is taking German, I have to take Spanish :< Which means I'm stuck with it for another year due to that stupid rule in the US where you have to take the same language for three consecutive years in high school.

tl;dr I'd rather take German right now XD
