129245. Really? That's the opposite of what I usually hear from people who has taken both Latin and Spanish. Aren't there like, a ton of conjugations and declensions to learn in Spanish?
I honestly think there are more in Latin. We don't decline names nor adjectives (just add a for the feminine version and s for plural, 99% of the time!), and we have only three conjugations, as opposed to five in Latin.
129248. Ah. I think there are only four conjugations in Latin, but the third might as well be split into two because of its two forms. It must have been something else then, not conjugations and declensions.
As for Vietnamese....I know nothing of our language's history besides that there's too much Chinese influence xP
Bah, the Philippines has 7+ Languages with 100's of Dialects that I can't understand. But the Official Language, Filipino (Tagalog) Is a hodgepodge of Tagalog-English-Spanish, and a few Chinese/Japanese. XP
And oh, I'm taking Spanish 3 next year, my schedule is too inflexible to get it this year. TT^TT
Also I would love to learn some Japanese and French. :P
