Kurono-kun- I don't think Ash is a looser- but I think he's just dense and innocent. Not only did he not get educated at school as much, but since he only lived with his mom and the rest of the time beside his friends- he has the utmost belief he shouldn't form any type of relationship with any of his 'friends' -> just like a little kid does, when someone ask's the kid if he is in love w/his best friend- girl (Misty for example)... obviously the kid answers with an embarrassed and straightforward no DESPITE HIS FEELINGS because in his mind, he believes it universally wrong- and 'yucky'====> Yes, that means Ash is still a kid at what- 13-14 years old? :P

Buster_wolf, PM me that Misty picture that was taken off of here that was colored- I really want to see it- and ur exuberant skill :) Do you also have a May pic? If so, PM me that as well :)

And what do you think my Misty emoticon? It's part of a series I made when I was at my aunts house a month ago. I have 8 so far and her three outfits too.
And this picture, is probably one of my very favorite pics. It's just incredible

The reason I showed these is because the only emotional Misty pics that have been posted were pics from either GCYL or the Mirage Kingdom saga.

Crazy about the last image you posted, ML...once again, I wish I could draw like that. Unfortunately, no such luck for me. Speaking of which, the sketch is still coming along, but since I'm so indecisive and such a perfectionist I'll spend about 30 minutes a day working on it, but 25 of those are drawing and erasing; I'd say I've only gotten five minutes of quality work a day then, but at least I'm getting somewhere...
 
Love those pics from For Crying Out Loud, Crystal Clair. Misty looked really beautiful in that episode. I would love to get more pics from that episode.

The ending of the episode was sad, but, Misty does looks really beautiful when she's crying. I'm happy that she eventully got an Azurill.:)

haha; nice! ;) What I believe he means by 'pain' is doing all those hard details very well- who said photoshop was easy??? It turned out good, nontheless, buster_wolf :)

Nice pics everyone- especially ML17 and Crystal Clair! Those give back great memories (It even makes me wanna work EVEN harder on Pkmn Xtreme; darn it...)

So, gtg. I might, in the future be posting better fanarts when I improve...

If you act now and fast, they may still be available in the picture thread, Unown posted the download and he got loads from that eppie.
btw, I'm gonna upload a watercolor pic of Misty I just finished. What makes it so special that I announce ahead of time?
It wasn't done on an oekaki, it was done with REAL water colors on a real canvas! And I think it's my best yet
I gotta go clear out my digital camera and take the picture so all you Misty lovers can see a Misty work of art of genuine beauty.

You work excellently with photoshop; incredible job. It's as professional as any fanart out there.



I still need to get photoshop; I've had probably ten people promise to give it to me, but for some reason nobody ever does =/



Another sketch update: I'm darkening and shading now; the primary sketch is done and all I need to do to make it seem relatively good-looking is somehow get rid of a lot of the eraser marks. But...I realized that I drew her a lot more full-bodied than she's usually done; not that it's a bad thing, I just don't want anyone to think that I don't know how to draw her. It was intentional; in exchange I promise my next sketch to be more conventional.
 
Amazing...so unique in the way it was done that it almost looks like fanart. Thanks so much for sharing...


Yet another picture update: Edited the outline to fix some disproportionalities, and now the shading and darkening process can begin in earnest...I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
 
Well I got the pic uploaded but it didn't turn out as nice as I thought. My stupid computer made it look weird. So I made it small enough. And this was actually taken from my closet door cuz I thought it looked nicer there than from head on

Oh, and crystal clair- that's some neat watercolor artwork there- yeah; Mainly anything done with water colors is beautiful because it's just that the medium is so smooth and very easy to see; that was my favorite medium when I was actually in High School, and if I'd perfer a medium to start working with, I'd go with either oil paints or water color.

BTW, I've been wondering for a while- what is Misty REALLY to Ash? Don't say a girl friend or anything- cause that is out of the picture on what Ash believes... hmm... and what about May? A student? a good friend? Great friend, or...

Whatever the case, this will be able to solve the 'love' triangle I believe is somewhat evident in Pokemon; and or see the reality to the characteristics of all the characteristics- hey, why not make this a new topic to discuss??

I do believe that Ash is oblivious to the feelings of Misty. In the episode in which Ash and Misty part:(, it becomes quite obvious that Misty harbors some romantic feelings for Ash (there's the understatement of the year!). As for the case of May, Ash definitely shares a comparatively more stronger friendship with May but the potential for a romantic future seems unlikely. May's stronger friendship may be due to the fact that she isn't constantly weighed down with the responsibility of a baby Pokemon (curse you Togepi). Perhaps Ash is uninterested in a romantic relationship with either of the two. He is more interested in his life dream and a romantic relationship would only provide an obstacle. I do believe I speak the truth when I say that Ash in only interested in making simple allies which will help further him in his goal.
