Why do people automatically think she's older just because she's taller?

Anyway, yeah, Misty does look older in that pic! Perhaps even her sisters' age.. :)
 
No, I meant the look on her face made her look older. o_o I don't judge age by height. The way she's dressed, her posture, and just her face and hairstyle show age with her.

Sorry Kylie! I was actually referring to A-one's comment about how "Misty is older" than Ash. ^__^
 
That would be a good idea, TAD...unfortunately our members-only RP died an untimely death, so a collaborative fanfic might fare a lot better.

Love the art, MWM...excellent as usual o_o; Seriously, that is some of the best work I've ever seen.

And your post wasn't altogether useless, A-One, you have inadvertently brought something up: does anyone else have any more images of Misty from that particular hoso where she's wearing the chinese dress? I don't think any images from there have been posted here before.

No, unfortunately, I do not. A pity, because I do have a thing for Chinese clothing.

Lastly, Misty is technically two years older than Ash is. But that's no reason they can't be married, there are no laws against it. :P
 
confused???...i thought misty was the same age as ash....getting confused...some1 show me info. that misty is older than ash..because soon im gonna go crazy and stay up all nite looking for info. (i know this question is an odd topic ? but does anybody have skool tommarrow???...i do:( )
 
Nope. By the show's bios, Ash was (and still is, apparently :P) ten, Misty is twelve.
 
But didn't Satoshi Tajiri say Misty and Ash are the same age?

^I didn't know Ash and Misty were the same age XDD I have these Pokemon books with character profile-ish pages in them, and one said Misty was 12. :P
 
Chinese Dress

That's an awesome picture of Misty in a Chinese dress:chinese:. I happen to LOVE it when girls wear what Misty's wearing in the last picture. I think it's HOT!!!
I'm kinda tired when people say Misty is older. Sure she's tall, but why do people say she's older? Some say she's the same age, some say she's older. Some say the bios say Misty is older. Some claim that Satoshi Tajiri says that they are the same age. I am overwhelmed here:confused:. So I say, provide some evidence with allegations.

I always considered Misty as somewhat ageless. o_O

I never expected the animators to ever put Misty in a Chinese dress but when I saw the hosos, YAY! That was surprising. hehe
Remember the Parasect episode with that herb-girl who wore chinese clothes + her hair in 2 buns or something? :p

Ash and Misty are the same age just because Misty is a few inches taller than Ash in height doesnt mean she is older than him

I have seen lots of character profiles where it states Misty is 2 or 3 years older than Ash and other profiles where it say the two of them are same age but i dont think it is likely that Misty is 2 to 3 years for so many reasons there are too many i can put down

All of us pokemon fans can try and guess what Misty's age is but were never to going actually know what her age is unless the animators say what Misty's age is

All we know she was possibly born in the same month as Ash but a week or two before him therefore making her older by a few weeks
 
Yea..I also have the idea that she's probably a few weeks older than Ash - but not years. ^_^;;

I wonder when their birthdays are!
Who here is into astrology? If you are, why not have a guess about when Misty's birthday is? ;)
 
i think they are the same age even though ones taller than the other that is because not every 12 year old can be smaller than another 12 year old...or the opposite so its depending on size as well i guess...

Misty is 12, Ash is 10. It says so in the manga, and I believe it has been officially confirmed elsewhere.
 
One of my favorite episodes, actually. It was a rather creative idea, and amusing, instaead of the formulaic (by that point) "character of the day+Pokemon of the day+Team Rocket attack=Episode."
 
Yes, indeed. Quite possibly my favorite of all Johto episodes. It was a pleasing touch that the translators at least attempted to make their speech more flowery than usual during the story sequences.
