-Walked through Dark Cave, training up against all Trainers.
-Left Dark Cave, healed in Lavander and went back to face the trainers outside.
-Renamed all Pokemon apart from Luna.
-Headed to the Route to the east facing all trainers.
- Arrived in Celadon, got the Eevee and healed.
-Went to the Game Corner, fought the Rocket, and activated the switch.
-Went down the stairs and cleared out all the Rockets, before facing Giovanni
-Swept Giovanni with Absol (Belatrix).
-Got Silph Scope.
-Healed ,then headed to Celadon Gym.
-Won all trainers in the gym, then faced Erika.
-Won Erika using Belatrix (Victreebel),Tropius((Goyle)Tangela) and Arbok ((Lucius)Vileplume).

-Then headed east to Lavender Town and entered the Tower.
-Fought HIM.Won easily using Belatrix (Pidgeotto), Neville (Gyarados), Goyle (Exeggcute), Lucius (Kadabra) and Pansy (Growlithe).
-Continued to climb the tower, facing all trainers in the Tower.
-Defeated the dead Marowak.
-Defeated all the Rockets on the top floor.
-Got the Poke Flute and headed South from Lavender Town toward Fuschia City, defeating all trainers along the way.
-Defeated Snorlax then continue along the Route.
-Arrive in Fuschia City, healed, deleted Flash from Luna's moveset and went to the Gym.
-Defeated all trainers in the Gym, healed and then faced Koga
-Defeated Koga using Belatrix (1st Koffing and Muk), Pansy (2ndKoffing) and Luna (Weezing).

-Climbed each floor, defeated all trainers(Patsy Evolved whilst doing this) untill I bumped into HIM !!!
-Defeated HIM using Belatrix (Pigeot), Neville (Gyarados) and Lucius (Chaizard,Alakazam & Exeggcute).
-Headed on to face Giovanni
-Defeated Giovanni using Belatrix (Nidorino), Patsy (Nidoqueen) and Goyle (Rhyhorn and Kangaskhan).
-Got the Master Ball, headed to Saffron Gym.
-Guessed my way to Sabrina, avoiding trainers
-Defeated Sabrina using Belatrix (Kadabra), Lucius (Venomoth), Goyle (Mr Mime), & Luna (Alakazam)

Update #2 on SoulSilver.

• Played a bunch of Voltorb Flip for the Thunderbolt TM, taught it to Hoarder.
• Continued on to Ecruteak City, and caught Bulldog the Snubbull on Route 38.
• After doing the Burned Tower, I took on Morty with Hoarder and won thanks to a crit Thunderbolt on Gengar.
• Made my way to Olivine City, and Bulldog evolved into Granbull.
• Hacked in an egg and hatched Jet the Aerodactyl.
• Scaled the Lighthouse and Surfed to Cianwood City.
• Took out Eusine.
• Chuck was pretty much handled by Jet's Wing Attack.
• Flew back to Olivine and took on Jasmine, who was beat by Boxer (Drain Punch), Blimpie (Surf), and Bulldog (Rock Smash, Dig).
• While exploring the basement of Union Cave, I caught Yuki the Snorunt, my final team member.
• Headed to Mahogany Town and saved.

-Flew to Viridian City and headed for the Gym.
-Defeated all trainers in the Gym and headed up to Giovanni.
-Defeated Giovanni using Belatrix (Rhyhorn #1), Luna (Nidoqueen and Nidoking), Goyle (Dugtrio) and Pansy (Rhyhorn #2).
-Got the Earthquake TM and healed before heading East to the Pokemon League.
-Ran into HIM
-Defeated HIM using Neville (Pidgeot & Rhyhorn ), Lucius (Exeggcute), Luna (Alakazam), Goyle (Gyarados) and Pansy (Charizard).
-Walked through all Badge Gates on my way to Victory Road.
-Entered Victory Road, defeating all Trainers,
-Arrived at the Pokemon League :D healed, saved, happy times

Next Part : I think I'll do an Elite 4 Special next time, then do the Sevii Island all at once ? IDK.

Update #3 on SoulSilver.

• Went to Lake of Rage and killed Gyarados.
• Talked to Lance, and we found the TR Hideout.
• Breezed through the Hideout and took down two Admins.
• Took on the Mahogany gym, Price was beaten by Blimpie and Hoarder.
• Elm called about the Radio Tower, so I went to Goldenrod City.
• Yuki reached L31 and learned Crunch, so I hacked in a Dawn Stone and evolved her into Froslass!
• Taught Yuki Ice Beam, then beat the fake Director and went to the Underground Warehouse.
• Beat Silver with some difficulty (Meganium was a pain) as I am underleveled a bit.
• Rescued the Director, then headed back up the Radio Tower.
• Beat the other Admins again, then put down Archer with Blimpie and Boxer, leading to the disbanding of Team Rocket for good.
• Now I can go to Blackthorn City, so I made my way through the Ice Path.
• After beating the trainers on Mountain Road, I challenged the gym.
• Claire was tough, especially Kingdra, as I was pretty underleveled. Pulled it out with Bulldog (Return) and Boxer (Ice Punch) - Boxer was my last Pokemon, lol.
• Got the Badge in Dragon's Den and got a call from Elm. He gave me a Master Ball and told me to go to see the Kimono Girls.
• Beat them with some timely switching, then realized I forgot to go to the Safari Zone.
• I am saved on Route 47.

-I started with Belatrix, She started with Dewgong.
- I hit 2 Slashes, before being taken out by Surf. I then sent in Pansy.
-Lorelei uses her 1st Full Restore, as Pansy Toxics.
-Dewgong sets up hail but is taken out by Pansy's Brick Break. Lorelei sent out Lapras next.
-Lapras takes out Pansy with Body Slam as Toxic misses three times straight. I send out Neville.
-Neville gets KO' in 2 Surf attacks. I send out Luna.
-Luna gets KO'd in 3 Surfs, I send out Lucius
-Lucius KO's Lapras in 2 Rock Slides. She sends in Cloyster next.
-Cloyster KO's Lucius with 1 Dive attack,during which I revived Pansy. I sent out Goyle next.
-Cloyster sets up hail but is OHKO'd by Magical Leaf. She sent in her Slowbro next.
-Slowbro Ice Beamed and KO'd Goyle, I sent in Pansy.

- Luna brings Hitmonchan down to Red before being KO'd by Sky Uppercut. I send out Neville.
-Neville gets OHKO'd by Sky Uppercut. I send out Pansy.
-Pansy KO's Hitmonchan with a Psychic . Bruno sends out Hitmonlee.
-Pansy 2HKO's Hitmonlee using Psychic+ Surf. Bruno sends out Onix.
-Pansy OHKO's Onix with Surf. Bruno brings in Machamp, his last. I withdraw Pansy and send out Lucius.
-I heal Pansy, he bulks up twice then KO's Lucius with a Cross Chop. I send in Pansy.

-Luna KO'd herself in Confusion. I send out Goyle.
-Goyle is KO'd after hitting a few Fly attacks on Golbat. I send out Pansy.
- Pansy KO's with Surf. She sends out Arbok.
-Pansy 2HKO's with a Surf-Psychic combination. She sends out Gengar, I switch out to Lucius.
-Lucius gets put to sleep, I switch into Belatrix, who gets KO'd by Sludge Bomb. I send out Pansy.

-He OHKO's with a Hyper Beam. I send out Neville.
-Neville attacks on the recharge turn, then is OHKO'd by Hyper Beam. I send out Luna.
-Luna is 2HKO'd by Hyper Beam, Lance also used a full Restore. I send out Goyle.
- Goyle KO's with a Magical Leaf. Lance sends in Aerodactyl.
-Goyle is 2HKO'd by Aerodactyl. I send in Pansy.
-Pansy 2HKO's with Surf. He brings in Dragonair, I switch to Lucius.
-Lucius allows me to get Pansy, Neville and Goyle fully healed. Lucius faints to Outrage. I send in Neville.
-Neville hits 2 Blizzards, nearly KO's but is taken out by Hyper Beam. I send in Goyle.
-Goyle KO's with Magical Leaf. He brings in Dragonite.
-I revive Lucius, Dragonite starts to Outrage and KO's Goyle. I bring in Lucius.
-After a lot of Stall, using Revives and pokemon shuffling a revived Belatrix KO's using Bite after Dragonite has been weakened by Toxic and confusion and ha KO' Lucius with Hyper Beam. He sends out Dragonair.
-Dragonair takes down Goyle and Belatrix, Lucius KO's with Strength ! I AM THE CHAMPION !! ….Wait…HE beat me !!!!

I heal and get ready for the Ultimate challenge.

-Neville is also 3HKO'd by Aerial Ace. I bring in Pansy and KO with Surf. He sends out Gyarados. I switch to Goyle.
-Gyarados 3HKO's using Thrash. I switch into Luna. Luna is 2HKO'd by Bite. I use Lucius and start Rock Slide.Lucius got KO'd by Hydro Pump.
-I start healing with my last Pansy. She is KO'd by Bite, so I send Lucius back in and carry on the heal stall.
-Gyarados eventually dies to Toxic Poison. He sends in Rhydon, I have Goyle out.
-Rhydon KO's with a Crit Rock Tomb, I send out Pansy. She OHKO's with Surf. He brings out Exeggutor.
-I heal as Exeggutor KO's Pansy with a Giga Drain. I send in Lucius and heal the rest of the team as Lucius is KO'd by Egg Bomb.
- Goyle is sent out and is KO'd by Egg Bomb. I send in Belatrix. She is KO'd after some Team Shuffling, which leaves Pansy as the last Pokemon Standing for me.
-Pansy KO's Exeggutor with Toxic Poison and Surf. He sends in Alakazam.
-Alakazam is 2HKO'd by Surf. It is now Pansy VS Charizard.
-PANSY KO'D CHARIZARD WITH A CRITICAL SURF !!!!! I AM THE KANTO CHAMPION !!!!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.

Is that the Kanto part of my challenge complete or do I have to do the 2nd time ?
Also for the DS games on my Ultimate Challenge, am I okay to use Pokegen ? Desmume is being a jerk and not letting my action replay codes work :( I will obviously keep things legal and randomise EV's, IV's and Natures :)

Overall Game Rank:9/10-Slow start, needed to evolve so badly !!! But when she did there was no looking back. Really enjoyed using her.

My bad - I actually did have Starmie in originally, but I wanted to give you Claydol and wanted to keep the types reasonably different so I had a brain fart and forgot to give you a different Surf Pokemon.

Hacking is fine, as long as you do it at level 1-5 (same as trading them over at level 1).

And HG instead of SS is absolutely a-ok.

(Note:Sorry for the Hiatus, just Christmas time, family and Alcohol and Xbox has taken up any free time I've had recently, Back now though :D)
First I did a Dummy Run, to see what I needed. The Answer: More Levels and More Money, so I Grinded (I hate Grinding FYI) to Level 54/55.
Also played the slots for Shadow Ball, TBolt, Ice Beam and Flamethrower TMS for Pokes (See Team Report).
Not gonna do an indepth battle thing, cause it'll be a stally thing with me using 2000000000000 healing items.
Lorelei: Took a while but Neville's Flamethrower KO'd that Jynx ftw.
Bruno:Pansy Sweep
Agatha:Luna Sweep
Lance:Stally Stall fest where Toxic KO'd Kingdra :D
HIM:Just a general team effort where I used my whole stock of Max potions and revives.

Sorry if this isn't much of a finale ,just HATE FR/LG's aftergame, Grinding and other such stuffs, and there really wasnt much to say. My final reviews and awards haven't changed really, so just look at my last post

Thanks very much! I just had a quick look back through the pages in this thread and it turns out I've not actually updated a challenge of my own for over a year now...! My first Ones that Got Away challenge ended last December, and since then I've been allocated a team but never got round to starting it. There's several reasons for this - life got in the way, Skyrim got in the way, my addiction to Nuzlocke challenges got in the way (I've actually got 4 on the go at once at the moment, all at the pre-E4 training stage except my White challenge which is just post-Nimbasa). I also started to draw out a Nuzlocke comic over on the official Nuzlocke boards.

In other words, I had a million and one other things to do, and as my Soul Silver cartridge is in use (for one of those Nuzlocke challenges) I just never had a chance to start. I think it's probably best that I put my own repeat Ones that Got Away challenge on an official hiatus for now, but rest assured I'll still be checking the board to read updates and fiddle with the original post. I still fully intend to do my second challenge but it'll just be a while before I start. It's possible in fact that I'll bump it up to a White challenge instead, we shall see...
