thats exactly what i gave you or are you just telling people thats what you need.

yeah that would be a good idea.........
i'm trying to make a veemon sprite from a pic i got off the internet, i'll see i can make animations of it xD

You said you got all the sprites already! xD I'll get some to you ASAP, and I'll be a bit inactive beause of school. You're Sprites will come though. I'm doing Pitimon next. Getting all the baby Digimon we need to sprite first xD

Ah, I see now. Well, this game needs to be so challenging I can't finish it in 1 month xD Seriously though, DWDS was 19 hours of simplicity for me. =/ About DNA Digivolution, do you just want to find Digimon that looks like it can evolve into it? It'll make life easier in prgramming and the game =)

Con, you've got it wrong. All 5 battle sprite frames should be in the same image, as I said originally.

you're friggin kidding me :l

My mistake... :(

I read this
"Each frame of a Digimon must be the same size. The size doesn't matter, as long as all a Digimon's frames are the same size."

and must've missed this
"Then, copy and paste all 5 frames into a single image, making sure you don't mess up the alignment."

Sorry to everybody I abused for doing it the right way, lol. I feel really bad now. :x

It would save the game from having to load a new bitmap for all 5 frames. I wanted all 5 to be in the same image so I could just move the sprite's source rectangle.

Also, the mockups look great, but aren't we using RMXP's resolution? (640x480)
I thought that maybe you could see the player's Digimon too, like in RMXP's default battle system.

Well that would work (seeing your own Digimon)

But uh, I think we should use a resolution smaller than the default one.

Maybe not as small as DS resolution but RMXP is too big by default. :x

Gamewise, generally the more compact it is the better it looks. I'm all for a bigger resolution I just think 640x480 is too big.

The thing about changing the resolution is that it messes things up, like transitions.
I have to go now; I'll have a go with the default resolution and see what I can do. There's still the possibility of switching to VX (better features and smaller default screen size which is easier to change), but that would mean everyone would have to buy it... I have quite a lot of money saved up, so I could get it, but what about everyone else?

I have it.

But I don't think it's worth it though. One of the biggest problems it has is tiling.

Alright, just go with the default resolution I suppose. I'm going to do a new mockup too.

I think the enemy sprites should be doubled if we're using the full size.

w.i.p

I still think it's too big; how about half that size? 320 x 240.
