Do you have any artificial pets based on either real-life animals or fantasy creatures? Examples could include having one of the realistic robot puppies, using My Koi app, raising some vpp here on the forum or playing another monster-collecting rpg like Yokai Watch?

As a pokemon player, I have many pets in games those, safe to say that all of you guys do too. I recently started using the finch self-care app also, and have an endearing toddler finch to raise named Plucky. If there are any fellow players here then I would love to friend you.

I love Tamagotchis! I'm not as good at keeping mine alive as I am my real pet (thank goodness for my cat) but I'll hatch one every once in a while still - a couple of the PC discord members and I still keep up with new releases so I have the latest model Uni and we are impatiently awaiting the Tamagotchi Paradise release which was announced not too long ago.

And I LOVE FINCH omg let's be friends, I thought about starting some kind of Finch club on the Discord or something but this is perfect. I've neglected mine for months (when I break a streak it's hard for me to restart lol) but I've been thinking about my finch for a while now so this is a great time to restart. Is your pet a quiet one who seldom makes a sound, or does it make quite a bit of noise like barks, chirps, neighs, meows etc?

My cat meows when he needs something, usually attention. He is my first cat so I didn't know all the different types of meowing cats do at first since he's pretty quiet throughout the day, aside from purrs - there is a very particular long, drawn-out meow he does almost exclusively in the middle of the night when we are sleeping, which I now understand is what he does when he's bored or if he sees something outside, but I remember when I first got him and he started doing that, it made me panic and rush to him every night because I thought he was in pain or dying lol

My wegie is fairly quietly and enigmatic. He vocalizes mainly when you engage with him. Because he is polite, if you turn and talk to him, sweetly say his name and greet him, then he will rub against you and give a soft, short meow back, to say hi, if he is being petted then he will make a nice, warm purr from enjoyment, but he is mostly laconic. He doesn't have to talk a lot to show how he feels, you just know it when he curls up next to you to sleep by your side, or rolls on his belly, letting you know he is ready to play, if you are. The only time I can think of when you hear more repetitive meows is when he is put in a cat carrier, because no cat wants to be in one, so on those occasions where he has to go to the vet, you'll hear nervous meows coming from the carrier, as if to say, "Can you let me out? I don't like it in here."

My pittie is another story though. She is a chatterbox! She yaps when she is excited. She hears you coming home from your job, turning the key into the lock, then she races towards you making gleeful high-pitched squeals, standing on her back legs and jumping up on you to lick your face as soon as that door opens. When anybody comes to the house she works herself up, eagerly squeaking to let everyone know that someone is there- she just loves guests, even if it's just the pizza man or the mail man. There are a lot of barking dogs in the neighborhood, but even though mine is friendly and likes other dogs, if they start barking at her then she starts barking back at the fence to try to get the last word in and win the argument. My dog also whines a lot too, begging for table scraps when others are eating. She grumbles if she is sleepy, and doesn't want to go to bed, yowls when she wants to go outsude in play. She has a sound for everything.

I have a lil chihuahua that barks at everything that moves outside the window with intense rage XDD

Ciel "maows" and "wowms" when he wants attention, which is most of the time. Has to have his upsies and doesn't like me staying on my computer too long.

And then there's Simon who sounds like a siren when food time comes around.

Cali (who was actually a tortie) used talk in chirps before she passed. She'd have a whole conversation with you. And George used to sit by the door whenever Dad would go out yelling "herro!"
