Uhh, I'm pretty sure it was from the Pokemon 2000 movie. The one with the 3 birds, Lugia, and all that.

I don't think so, it just doesn't seem like it'll happen. Also, I didn't know Pikachu was in a contest, but that's because I don't watch the anime. I want to though.

Although as much as I'd prefer seeing Pika elsewhere battling, I think Pikachu may... once again enter another one. There's the chance of that happening, maybe towards the end of the season...

I never saw Pikachu in a contest. I didn't watch the seasons with May.. t_t So, I think it'd be cool to see.
