The Po-Ke Cen-Ter! (One-Shot, song parody, rated G)

And now for something completely different:
A fic with no character development, no plot, and no description!

This is a parody of "Y.M.C.A." by the Village People, and was written for the latest chapter in my main fic. An abridged version appears in chapter 44 of the fic on that other forum, but since it'll be a long time before I'm up to chapter 44 here...

Note: The dance is similar to the YMCA dance, except that the letters formed are "P", "K", "C", and "T". Also, at the end of the chorus, a dance move involves spinning around and throwing an imaginary Pokeball.

I think this is allowed; after all it is a work of fiction that revolves around Pokemon so... without further ado...

The Po-Ke Cen-Ter!

You don't need to worry at all

Odd, yes, but strangely awesome. You got a smile out of this kid. What an utterly perfect song and description XD

I was laughing through the entire reading of this. Probably because Y-M-C-A is such a fun song, and also probably because you did such a good parody with this. Awesome. ^^

I listen to it and "In the Navy as sort of guilty pleasures xD. And, aren't Pokemon Centers like the YMCA's of the Pokemon world - places where you can hang out, meet people, and get your Pokemon refreshed?

Wow, nice work with that! Throughly enjoyed that - worked well and everything. Seemed to come out quite well and smoothly - the places with an extra syllable or two still fitted in well to the tune, and it's frankly impossible to incorparate it perfectly.

Thanks! It's really tough matching up syllables, especially while trying to come up with something that sounds somewhat coherent and still rhymes, though.
