I like the concept of Squirry and it's evolutions a lot, but the design of Squirry looks very "plain" right now. Compared to your last one, it at least took a concept such as using a mask overlay as its face, which made it interesting. Remember that Pokémon tend to have very different aesthetics when placed against real world animals, which is what makes them unique.
If we look at another squirrel for example, such as Pachirisu, you can tell it's based on a Squirrel, but has features and designs that let the viewer know it's not "just a squirrel". Considering you have a mask theme going on for the evolutions, why not play on that? An example could be making it look very rugged with a bandit mask, and when given the beautiful mask items, make it more extravagent. Like Cinderella or something.
Long story short, I think the concept has lots of potential, so make use of it! :D
You don't necessarily have to use the mask overlay thing from the last design again, but in my opinion it's much more fun to look at than that normal face it has now :)
