Selene
Listening to Vince, Selene allowed herself to stop feeling tense regarding their previous conversation. Tension melted out of her body, but a definite concern was slowly replacing it, filling her body from the toes upward until she was frowning deeply walking beside Vince.

"Strange girl? Pokemon battle that got out of hand? This is not adequate explanation..!" her tone clearly indicated that she wasn't about to drop the subject should Vince decide not to expand on these statements. If there was one thing we knew about Selene, it was that she could be darn persistent when she wanted to be - the very skill that got her to this Academy in the first place.

She did, however, drop the subject when Vince asked where she wanted to go. She paused. Vince was correct - they hadn't ever gotten to the Icy Plains together...but if they were heading there she needed to go and dress appropriately after last time with...that friend that she was trying not to think about right now given the sticky situation she was in...she had learned that the Icy Plains were pretty damn cold. Colder than even the name suggested.

"Icy Plains...would be good..." she said slowly, hesitantly. "But I think perhaps the volcano would be better?? Or even just the surrounding mountains? I don't really want to be cold right now..." In truth, temperature had nothing to do with why Selene was shying away from the Icy Plains. But she wouldn't even admit that to herself, let alone anybody else.

Valorie Ryder

Valorie thought about Kenshin's question for a brief moment.

"I'm not really sure, but it's said that the closer dratini get to shedding the more life force they have built up. It gets shed off when they shed their skin though."

For a brief moment, Valorie theorized to herself. What if a dratini never shed? Would their life energy build to the point that they became virtually invincible? A warning echoed in the back of her mind though. Drayden had said something about serious harm. Insanity. The consequences were apparent. Kenshin would find that Valorie's expression became mysteriously troubled. She glanced over at Dragonair. No... She silently assured herself that she would never do such a thing, most especially not to Dragonair. It just felt wrong... Valorie then briefly flashed back to when she'd first received Dragonair as an egg. The mysterious man had made it fairly clear that he wanted to give Dragonair away, but that he wanted her to be given to a trainer that would take good care of her. End flashback. Valorie briefly shook her head as if clearing her mind of some foul thought, her expression changing to something more neutral. She had made an effort to put the idea out of her mind.

"Sorry... Weather? Um..."

Valorie made an effort to recall all the little factoids she had learned about various dragon pokemon whilst researching them as an obsessed trainer-to-be. They honestly weren't coming to her as quickly as they used to.

"I think it's just a tendency for them to know the moves. Not many wild pokemon do, you know. We could ask the teacher, just to be sure."

Valorie glanced vaguely in Drayden's direction, whom was helping a boy with a rather angry, frustrated looking Bagon. As it turned out, she was actually correct in that the dratini line could only control the weather if they knew the moves. She hadn't brought up the dratini line's latent psychic power though. Neither had Drayden. She found herself passively wondering why.

Olivia Wolf

Meanwhile, outside class, Olivia was still exploring the school. A skitty cheerily followed dangerously near her feet, though Olivia was aware of this and avoided stepping on the cat pokemon responsibly. She had just finished buying a potion from the mart. Only one. She had to save money for accessories! Not that she didn't have enough already. She had a collection that could make most /unovans/ impressed. Needless to say, she was an aspiring musicalist. Unfortunately musicals hadn't made their way to her home region, and so she had never had a chance to actually try one. That wasn't to say she didn't enjoy battling, but battling was /hard/ and battlers tended not to be nearly as social on average. Needless to say, Olivia was also a fan of Pokemon Contests and the Pokeathlon. Though, pokeathlon had only recently started to make it's way into Sinnoh, and only a couple of towns actually had official pokeathlon tournaments.

Olivia was snapped out of her thoughts by the sound of another girl's voice not far off. Whoever it was didn't sound very happy. Olivia promptly decided against searching the person out, for fear of getting involved in drama. However, as she continued walking she began to hear rapid footsteps. A boy ran across her field of vision as if in a serious rush. It didn't quite occur to her that he was running from something, or some/one/. Looking off after the boy, Olivia would proceed forward, unconsciously and conveniently persistently wading straight into Piccolo's path. If Picollo wasn't careful, she might just /literally/ run into this girl! While Olivia was reasonably sized at about 5'3'', she was very light weight and completely unprepared to take a blow, and would most definitely be sent to the ground if hit. Meanwhile Rosie, Olivia's skitty, attempted to warn her with a series of short meows. Yet, Olivia was too distracted to pay Rosie any mind.

Kenshin Ren

"Oh," Kenshin replied to her response about the skin subject. Kenshin did notice Valorie's troubled expression and it was starting to worry him. Even then he wasn't sure what he should do. Did he bother her with something he had said? He noticed her expression changed back and she had responded to him about the weather question he asked.

". . . Huh. Y-Yeah that would be. . . O-Okay I g-guess. . ." He looked over and noticed Drayden was working on some other student. "Um. . . We could. . . ask that. . . assistant of his if. . . maybe he might know. The teacher looks a . . . little busy."

That and Drayden had a scary face to Kenshin. Seriously, the guy looked like he was a dragon himself in human form.

Kenshin then sorta looked at Dragonair's costume for a moment. "Um. . . is your pokemon. . . comfortable in that costume?"

On her way to Normal Specialization, Jacy glanced at the classrooms she passed by. In some, the trainers would be battling, in others, they were taking down notes. She wasn't sure if she would be able to fit into this school. She wasn't the smartest, and she certainly wasn't any good at battling. She glanced down at her watch. "Oh! I'm really late!" She began to run, hoping to make up for lost time.

When she arrived at the class, there were a few students already in there. She quietly slipped in from the back, hoping she was unnoticed. She took out a notebook and turned to the first page. "Normal Type" was written on the first line. She looked up at the board and began to hurriedly write down notes. When she finished, she read over the notes she had.

"The Normal type is one of seventeen elemental types. It has a weakness to Fighting type moves. It is not affected by Ghost type moves. Normal type moves normally do not hit Ghost types, but there are exceptions. Using the move Foresight or Odor Sleuth or having the ability Scrappy will allow a Normal-type move to hit a Ghost type. Gym Leaders known to have used Normal types include Whitney of Goldenrod City, Johto, Norman of Petalburg City, Hoenn, and Lenora of Nacrene City, Unova. Normal type Pokemon have the highest average HP stat. There are 167 normal-type moves. It is the second most common type after Water."

Jacy wondered if they would be doing any battling that day. She had never used Piff in battle, so she had no idea whether she was strong or not. The thought exited her mind as the teacher added more notes to the board on Normal-type moves.

Jimmy let out a yawn. He was clearly getting bored of watching the battle. "Humph. This is lame." he said, "I'm outta here.". Then, without even bothering to say goodbye to Maxwell and his girl, he walked away from the battle, going straight for the Pokémon Center nearby.

When he entered, he approached the nurse at the counter. "Hey. My Pokémon are, like, kinda hurt." he said, "Could you, like, heal them up?" He handed over the Pokéballs after the nurse nodded and, while he waited for his Pokémon to be fully restored, he thought about what he would do next.

Vincent Xackford Luna

Vince thought the volcano would be perfectly fine for some training...wait a moment he had totally forgot about Blitz and his newly caught Golett. "The volcano sounds great Sel but I've got to go take care of somethings first meet me there?" He asked looking to the Zorua on his head.

"To be more clear about it I have to go to the pokemon center to check on Blitz," He added before looking in the direction of the pokemon center.

<We'll be quick about it and probably meet you before you get there Sel!> Shade said happily as Vince started to run slowly to the pokemon center. He looked back and waved to Sel with a smile on his face. As he ran to the pokemon center he hoped that Blitz would be perfectly alright and ready for some training.

As he got into the pokemon center the nurse that let him out was at the counter seemingly waiting for him.

"Uh hello..." Vince said as he walked up to the counter. The nurse smiled as Xack said hello.

"Hello Mr. Luna," She said with a smile. "How are you feeling?" She asked as she was writing something down on a piece of paper.

"Um much better Ma'am," Vincent answered feeling a bit nervous. He wasn't sure if she would tell him to go back to his room or not.

<Vincent is doing much better Ma'am!> Shade said happily as he jumped on the counter and started to walk along it. The nurse smiled at the little Zorua instead of freaking out like most people.

"We'll then that's good to hear I have a surprise for you," The Nurse said as she turned around and grabbed something. As she turned around she presented a tray with Blitz's pokeball on it.

"Oh thank you so much miss!" Vince exclaimed as he grabbed his Charizard's pokeball and then put it away. "Well I have to go now," He said as he waved to the nurse and she waved back to him. The black and white haired boy then stopped for a moment at the PC in the pokemon center and retrieved his Golett from it.

As he reached the outside of the pokemon center he noticed something rustling in the bushes. Shade then walked up to the bush and smiled.

<Hey! You came out of the dorm to find Vince?> He asked the bush with a smile on his face. Vince looked at his Zorua with a confused face. Out of the bushes came a Scraggy that was once in the Lugia dorm. It all came to Vincent he remembered that he and Blitz were going to battle the Scraggy.

"Hey there little buddy you still want to fight Blitz?" Vince asked as he crouched down to pat the little Scraggy on head. Shade gave Vince a that's so wrong look because Blitz was much stronger then he was then. The Scraggy shook his head and then started to talk to Shade for a moment.

<The Scraggy says he was waiting so long he got bored and decided to come out and find you!> Shade said as Vince released Blitz from his pokeball. As the Charizard came out he expanded his large wings and let out a Flamethrower into the sky and letting out a loud roar.

Out of nowhere the little Scraggy Headbutts Blitz bouncing off the Charizard's belly and flying back onto the ground. Blitz looked down on the Scraggy and sighed and looked to his trainer and made a "really?" face. Blitz then took in a deep breath and let out a small stream of flames hitting the Scraggy. The Charizard figured that would knock it out but the Scraggy endured the hit and tried another Headbutt.

"This is kind of sad," Vince said to his Charizard as he patted him on the shoulder. Blitz then sighed again as the Scraggy bounced off his belly yet again and landed on the ground next to Shade. The Zorua couldn't help but laughed at the Scraggy.

"End this please Blitz," Vince sighed as he took out a pokeball. The Charizard then let out a small Flamethrower attack this time knocking the Scraggy out as it hit him. Xack then tossed the pokeball at the knocked out Scraggy. The ball shook a few times but Vince eventually heard the chiming noise indicating the capture was successful.

"Now let's go meet up with Sel!" He said happily as he jumped on Blitz's back after he picked up the Scraggy's pokeball and Shade jumped on his shoulder. The Charizard then extended his wings again and started flapping them slowly ascending off the ground before he quickly took off to the skies and toward the volcano.

Valorie Ryder

Valorie was somewhat hesitant to ask N for help. A part of her just felt... uneasy around him. Perhaps she was slow to trust him because of what had happened in the past. A part of her was just overly skeptical of a supposed change N had undergone. Regardless, Kenshin asked Valorie a question and Valorie turned her attention to Dragonair, whom was distracted by Kenshin's dratini. Observing Dragonair for several moments Valorie concluded that she didn't /seem/ uncomfortable or tired. Valorie was more concerned about the latter, as the costume had been made specifically to be worn. After a moment she turned her attention back to Kenshin.

"Yeah... She'll be fine. At the end of the day it'll be good exercise! All of my pokemon are wearing costumes. ...Except Frillish."

Valorie's expression became troubled again, and she paused a brief moment before speaking up again, an awkward smile forming on her face.

"My frillish ate her costume."

To be fair, Frillish had been given a rather modest costume. She had simply been given a toy crown to wear. Valorie had honestly run out of ideas for her. How did you make a soul eating ghost /more/ scary, and did she even want Frillish to be scarier? The answer had wound up no, lest she wish to give Mark a heart attack. Whilst scaring people was fun, she had had the sense to realize that using a traumatic experience against Mark would've probably been a proper jerk move. She'd save any jerk moves for those Suicune Dorm punks... or MacKenzie. Oh hey, what a tasty foot!

Swallowing her personal feelings on the matter, Valorie raised her hand and attempted to wave N over.

"Mister N!"

...Gosh, that felt awkward on the tongue.

"Raizer dig it!" Isaac shouted.

Raizer leapt into the air then began to tunnel furiously at his trainer's command. The Torkoal now noticing the groups arrival wailed in surprise when he was knocked into the air by Raizer. He tumbled around a few times landing on his shell. The Torkoal rocked back and forth trying to flip over. At first Isaac thought it an easy win then suddenly Torkoal launched itself up by blasting fire out of its shell. Raizer jumped back down his burrow as Torkoal nearly flattened him with body slam. Isaac now over the shock began to formulate tactics.

"Raizer double team. Then quick attack." Isaac ordered.

Ten Raizers darted from the hole. Each one smashing into Torkoal who now hid in his shell. When the attacks just glanced off Raizer acted on his own using aerial ace to up his striking power. Raizer jumped up to the low branches of the trees then dashed at Torkoal spinning like a wheel. To Isaac's dismay Raizer wasn't able to turn the attack into a flame wheel. They had been working on the move for a while back home, but they had showed no real improvement other then a consistent spin. When Raizer smashed into Torkoal its defense was breached at Torkoal was thusly sent skidding into a tree trunk.

"Ok lets hope this works. Go pokeball!" Isaac said tossing a new one at Torkoal.

The little ball banked off of Torkoal pulling it in with a red light. The ball twitched left and right, but the same red light burst back out. Torkoal was still ready to go another round.

"uh think it's ok if I switch to a non-fire type for the rest of this?" Isaac asked Sam who was watching the battle intently.

"…maybe?" Sam replied with a shrug.

Figuring Blaine wouldn't freak out especially if he didn't know Isaac swapped out to Ace, my Trapinch. Ace is for some reason or another mute, so he turned to me questioningly with his beady eyes.

"We're fighting that Torkoal. Raizer has already done plenty of damage I need you to do the rest." Isacc said slowly.

Ace contemplated for a moment then snapped his jaw shut twice. A sign he devised to mean he is ready for battle. Isaac ordered him to start with faint attack then finish with earthquake. Ace dashed off towards Torkoal, who was still trying to get his barring after being sucked into a pokeball. Ace faded away, turning invisible before striking at Torkoal from all sides. Torkoal responded with gruff grumble and a stone tomb. He launched a few boulders around himself trying to smash Ace. None hit, as far as Isaac knew, until he saw Ace pinned against a boulder and a tree.

"Ace! Earthquake before it's too late!" Isaac yelled.

Everything began to shake. Isaac fell over backwards, and Same clung to her Ponyta trying to stay upright. Torkoal seemed on the verge of collapsing. A few limbs snapped off trees and boulders shattered before it was all over. When Isaac pushed himself of the ground and helped Sam back up he saw Ace standing triumphantly on the unconscious Torkoal's back.

"Now if this doesn't work I'm dropping out." Isaac laughed.

Torkoal was sucked into the pokeball again and this time the little red and silver device dinged. Isaac walked over and picked up Ace before taking the pokeball.

"Thanks buddy. There's nothing wrong with being mute, especially when your actions speak for you." Isaac said happily placing him on his shoulder.

Piccolo quickly stepped out of the way of a random girl that decided to tread the same path, but her foot landed awkwardly on the dirt and Piccolo flew quickly onto the ground at the girl's feet. A scab tore itself on Piccolo's knee, causing her great discomfort. With fire with in her breath, Piccolo threw herself back up and stared down the girl.

"And what's your problem?! Why were you not looking where you were going, floozy?!" Piccolo said with her voice beginning to strain again, disallowing her words to become as violent as they should've been. She poked this girl on the chest pretty forcefully as she spoke, as if to intensify her message.

Iodine shook, yet the dirt refused to come off of him. His trainer had paid no attention that she landed on him after having him in her arms, nor would she particularly care if she did know, he thought, so he decided to silently try and scrape the soil off himself. It would've been nice if she wasn't so lost in her anger. You know, for her to act like a proper trainer rather. But what were the chances of that? She was always like this. He quietly brushed his arms as he muffled little complaints under his breath (ever so silently, though, lest Piccolo hear them.)

Kenshin Ren

"Well. . . I meant like. . . you know, in case your dragonair needed to shed her skin," Kenshin replied after Valorie gave her responses.

All of them huh? That's. . . interesting. Kenshin just didn't know what his pokemon wanted to dress up as, and honestly. . . he just thought they were fine as they were. What's a frillish though? Apparently it sounds like a very misbehaving pokemon based on the fact that this girl just said it ate the costume it gave to her. After all. . . Not EVERY person, let alone STUDENTS know what EVERY SINGLE POKEMON IS.

Kenshin sorta sat there in his chair as the girl called over N.

N

N heard a familiar voice and walked over to Valorie and Kenshin after finishing helping another student and calmly walked over to the two students with a hand in his pocket.

"Haha, I told you before you don't need to call me Mister. Just call me N," He replied with a simple casual smile. "So what can I help you with Valorie and Kenshin?"

He looked up to the two students' dragon pokemon and his smile somewhat grew as he saw how well the two were getting along with each other.

Kenshin blinked a few moments. Things started to click into his head all of a sudden. "W-wait. . . YOU'RE Valo-"

Before he could finish that sentence Kenshin fell out of his seat.

"Owww," Kenshin started rubbing where he landed.

Insert anime sweatdrop here for N. "Are. . . you alright?"

"Y-Yeah I'm fine," Kenshin said as he slowly got back into his seat. Still he was a little worried about Valorie now. Please don't do anything to cause drama like what happened twice on the trip.

". . . alright then," N replied as he looked to Valorie. "So what was it you two wanted to ask about?"

Insert the creepy theme here. You can trust him.

The crew was pretty much set. The ghosts had all agreed to assist Mark, Snype, and Leena with their Prank. All that was left was to prepare. Though it was still morning. Perhaps it was a bit too early to be making these preperations. If the kids were going to be doing something along the lines of trick or treating tonight then that would be a great opportunity to go off to the boat and prepare for the show. Mark was getting more and more excited by the minute.

Snype himself was acquainting himself with all of the ghosts that resided in the old dorm. It was pretty easy to relate with them, being a ghost himself and although they were wild ghosts, they were still playful enough to relate to a trained Pokemon unlike most wild Pokemon. Seeing how they had plenty of time to spare, It would be a good time to have some of their own fun while the ghosts prepared. Besides, Snype had to check on Thyme.

"Hey Snype, why don't we go find out what our friends are doing later today? We can see what else is going on this halloween in school. Our other Pokemon need some costumes as well so maybe we can get some for them. I'd use our old costumes but seeing how both Commodore and Len evolved... it kinda complicates things." Mark said. Snype gave off a bright smile and nodded. He turned back to the group of ghosts.

"Alrighty guys. I say we meet up at the ship around 9 PM tonight. Everyone will likely be out and about by then. The whole school will jump out of their pants when they see the ship!" Snype said excitedly as he ran over to Mark's side.

"Hey Leena, I think while I'm out and about with Mark I'll scout around to see where all the kids are going to be so we can set a route for the ship. The closer the ship is, the scarier! I'll meet up with you at the ship! Happy Halloween captain!" Snype said as he and Mark walked out of the doors.

Some of the students were probably still in class. May as well wander around and hope for the best. Mark often hung out in the courtyard of the school near battlefield 8 and he always tended to find his friends passing by there so he walked in that direction.

Dante

Dante continued on his way to class when he saw that students were coming out of Battlefield 3. This got Dante's hopes down seeing that he missed his second class. Seeing no other way to but to see the teacher of the steel-type class to see what he missed. With that, Dante headed of to see the teacher.

"Um hello", Dante said as he entered the class area. "I'm sorry that I missed class."

"Oh, that is quite alright", the teacher said, turning a revealing himself to be Byron. "So, what are we going to do for your missed class time, Dante?"

"Um, I don't know", Dante said. "Maybe you could give a private lesson on steel-types?"

Quillie

Quillie turned around just as the Confuse Ray was coming towards him, he tried to dodge it but it was too late. The Quilava felt his senses being disrupted and everything started to spin around for a moment. Whoa, this was trippy...

Suddenly, the Lapras began to undergo some changes in Quillie's eyes. It's head split into three, giant fangs shot out from it's mouth and it's body started to develop spikes all over it. Quille backed away a bit, how did this happen? Was that Lapras some sort of demon? Whatever it was it had to be taken down, quickly. The Quilava charged towards the Demon-Lapras, his feet started to glow as he readied a Double Kick. He lept into the air and kicked towards the right head of the Lapras, of course this was just in Quillie's mind so he passed right through the "head" and landed on the Lapras' back. He was wide open for an attack.

Maxwell

Maxwell looked back for a moment to see Jimmy retreat from the battlefield,
"Bye Jimmy! See you around!" he said and waved even thought the boy could not see nor hear him at all.

As Jimmy waited for his Pokémon to be healed, a boy entered the Pokémon Center. He saw that the nurse gave him a Pokéball, and then the boy thanked her andretrieved another Pokémon from the computer. Then the boy left, and Jimmy shrugged. Then the nurse came to Jimmy carrying three Pokéballs on a tray. "Here are your Pokémon, Mr..." the nurse said.

"Vincent. Jimmy Vincent." Jimmy replied, and took the Pokéballs, "Are they, like ready to battle again?"

"Yes." the nurse said, and then said goodbye to Jimmy as she had to take care of another kid's Pokémon.

Jimmy turned around and walked out of the Pokémon Center. Once outside, he called out Smokey.

[Whoa! What happened? Where are we?] Koffing asked upon being called out. Then Jimmy sent out Grim and Starr.

"C'mon guys, time to train some more." Jimmy said. Smokey nodded happily, while Grim shrugged and Starr jumped for joy. "But where could we go?..." he added, now walking with no clear direction, looking for someone that could tell him where to train.

Kail trudged through campus, slouching with his thumbs hooked in his pockets and his feet dragging across the dusty ground, leaving skid marks. His red hair swayed in front of his eyes as he pushed forward with the most effort he could come up with, which wasn't much. It would be easier to be happy if he were willing to go make friends, but he knew he would get too attached and then if he ever did wind up leaving them, which he viewed as an inevitable event in the future, he wouldn't be able to handle it.

He suddenly looked to his belt, stopping cold. What about Larvitar? He hadn't even been thinking about what would happen if he had to leave Larvitar. However, he managed to shake this feeling off as, at the very least, he needed Larvitar to get through the Pokemon Trainer's Academy. He'd need more than Larvitar, in fact, but that was something he could worry about later, as his eyes registered a couple of seconds late that he was coming up on two girls, with one yelling at the other. He almost yelped in surprise as he realized how close he had gotten without paying attention, easily less than fifteen feet away, and he quickly turned and started walking in another direction, faceplanting firmly into a wall in the process. Trying to regain dignity and hoping nobody saw, he stood up straight, straightened out his shirt, and started trudging away once again, this time sure that he wasn't going to make a stupid and obvious mistake.

Valorie Ryder

Valorie just sort of became distracted when Kenshin raised his voice and promptly fell out of his chair. She just sort of looked confused. What had just happened? Had Kenshin been about to say her name? Had they /met/? Regardless, they had N's attention. Valorie's mind briefly drifted to concerns regarding N's integrity. When she stopped she realized she had lost her train of thought. What had she been about to ask him..? Oh, right!

"Um... Why exactly are dratini known to control the weather?"

Straight and to the point. Valorie honestly wasn't all that curious on a personal level, seeing as she wasn't very into that style of battling, but the more she knew the more she could try to impress others with her smarter. ...And goodness knew Valorie /loved/ to impress.

Olivia Wolf

Things quickly spiralled out of control as Olivia became aware of the presence of another pair of feet pounding on the ground. This one was closer. By the time her attention had been drawn it was too late though, and a girl took a dive in front of her. This caused Olivia to stop in her tracks, startled. What had just happened?! Was this girl /okay/?

Before she could move to help the girl up Olivia was surprised to find that the girl was getting up on her own, and quite rapidly at that. Before she could even react to this she had one angry student in her face. Now, to be bluntly honest Olivia was not much of a fighter, and Piccolo was a whole new tier of tomboy compared to her. Olivia quite frankly found the in your face attitude somewhat intimidating, if not also somewhat irritating. The girl proceeded to call her... Wait, what had she said? Olivia had to strain her memory to remember the last time she had heard that word. She then recalled the context... A frustrated expression formed on Olivia's face as she did this, only for her to become distracted by a rather sharp prod to her chest. Olivia's expression changed to one of mild anger, and she frayed one hand off as if to ward off any further prods or pokes. Who did this girl think she was, handling her in such a manner? Had she been a boy Olivia would've immediately been on the lookout for sexual harassment. Ho ho! Look, a double standard! For shame. Yet, her mind did not drift there. Rather, it just seemed very disrespectful to her.

"I'm not a floozy!"

Olivia spoke in a defensive tone, clearly peeved by the accusation. Though, with her short skirt and hilariously long hair, one could make an argument on why one would think she was one. It was still a pretty mean thing to say, though. Olivia had forgotten all about the running boy for the time being, her bruised feelings taking priority. So much so that she didn't notice another boy fleeing the scene. She was meeting Piccolo's stare, but her expression still held hints of vulnerability on it. She was clearly not the hardest person to upset.

N and Kenshin Ren

N crossed his arms for a moment and looked up as if he was trying to recall the exact information needed. After at least three seconds a small gentle smile came to his face as he pulled up a chair and sat in it in front of Kenshin and Valorie.

"You know that is a very good question," he said as he looked up at the pair of dragon pokemon belonging to the students. "But before I begin to answer that I have a question of my own to the both of you. Have either of you tried asking your friends that very same question?"

If Valorie remembered anything about exactly what all N was besides being the King of Team Plasma, IE-if she heard anything at all about N's connection with pokemon, then it probably shouldn't be hard for her to realize what "friends" N was referring to.

Kenshin tilted his head for a moment rather confused at what N had just said. "Um. . . I'm sorry um. . . N? But. . . What do you. . . mean by friends?"

Aside from Kenshin's. . . lack of friends here at the academy. . . calling an intern/teacher by just a simple name rather than mister or misses or something of similar title. . . it just seemed odd.

N chuckled a moment. "Dratini and Dragonair of course. Unlike most people. . . I view pokemon as my friends. I don't like calling them 'mine' or referring to them with any kind of possessive pronoun like most trainers do with pokemon."

This. . . took a few moments for Kenshin to soak in. Or to be more precise, just took him some moments to sorta understand what N was talking about. All that came up though was a confused face.

N just held out his hand. "Would either of you mind if I spoke with your friends?"

Kenshin was still sorta confused so he looked at the girl, the one he finally realized was from the other day and just. . . waited to see what they should do. N was kinda. . . just making things confusing for him here.

"Alright let's get this started! Star use Heat Wave!" Oliver ordered. The Staraptor then let out a loud caw before firing off a large wave of flames from its mouth heading straight for the Metang.

"Wait what?!" Calnith exclaimed. He had no idea that a Staraptor could learn and use Heat Wave. Colossus was also surprised and tried to dodge the attack but he took the full blow of it, dealing some heavy damage to the steel type pokemon.

"Drat! I'm not losing again Colossus use Rock Slide!" Calnith ordered as his Metang got back on track. The Heat Wave had done some intense damage making Colossus looking tired already. The Metang then lifted its arms into the air making large rocks come from the ground and all gather above the Staraptor's head as if flew in the air.

"Star quickly move out of the way!" Oliver shouted as the rocks began to fall. Star moved as quick as it could but one of the Staraptor's wings got caught by a rock bringing it down on the ground hard.

"Star!" Oliver shouted as he ran up to his Staraptor who's wing was stuck under a large rock. The boy then took out a pokeball and let out a Haxorus. Use Dragon Tail to get all this rock off Star," He said with worry in his voice. The Haxorus destroyed all the rock with its massive tail. It was revealed that the Staraptor's wing was broken. Oliver quickly returned his Haxorus and Staraptor and then looked up to Calnith.

"Good fight you win I have to go get Star to the pokemon center stat!" Oliver said as he then quickly ran off. Calnith smirked, he figured he was going to win and he did. The red haired trainer returned his Metang and the headed to the pokemon center himself. On his way he saw Vince flying on his Charizard toward the volcano. He always thought Vince was a weird child. After getting his pokemon healed and seeing that Oliver got medical care for his Staraptor Calnith headed toward the school.

As he walked through the school he had his newly caught Murkrow which he named NightWing on his shoulder. He then heard some girl scream out that she wasn't a floozy which made him crack up. She sounded like a floozy to him. NightWing decided to take some initiative and he flew off his trainer's shoulder and to the two girls flying around in circles above their heads making caw noises which were loud.

"Hello ladies," Calnith said as he walked up to the two girls and NightWing then landed on his shoulder again. "Seems like you two are having a bit of an altercation may I be of any assistance?" Calnith asked with a devilish smirk on his face.

Isaac felt a gentle tap on his shoulder. He wheeled around to see the captain, an old friend of his father, standing behind him. The captain motioned towards the left side of the boat. Isaac saw the small vessel moored at the school dock. He shook the old captain's hand and got off the boat.

"now lets try this again." Isaac said with a heavy sigh,

He walked back up to his dorm to find a layer of dust over everything. He grabbed a rag and began wiping it all down when the room was clean Isaac threw his bag on the desk and sat down on his bed. Isaac knew that he had better get ready for whatever craziness would ensue after his absence.

Jimmy was roaming the hallways when three Suicune dorm students approached him. He got angry when he recognised two of them: they were the ones he had defeated. But the other kid was the tallest and was more muscular thatn the other two. "Well, well, well." the shortest kid said, "If it isn't that dumb Raikou dorm kid."

"Yeah, the one that kicked your ass in no time!" Jimmy replied angrily, "What the hell do you want now? You wanna lose more money?"

"No." the kid replied, "We're here for payback. And for that we brought our friend, Bryce. He's stronger than both of us combined."

"Yeah, just like me." Jimmy said, "Now get off my face before I get really mad."

"Whoa, I'm not leaving without a fight." Bryce said, "Bring it, Raikou tough kid! Go, Zangoose!"

"You asked for it!" Jimmy replied and called out Grim, who was floating right behind him. "Time to teach this kids another lesson."
