    The Pok?mon Peninsula - Version 2.0

    Those of you who know me well will know that, a few years ago, I had a site called The Pok?mon Peninsula, which I closed because it had no information XD. Well, it's back. Not much there yet, because it hasn't yet been up a week and a half, but please check it out and tell me what you think. I need staff too, so please check out the "openings" page on the right XD. Thanks!
     
    Hmmm, the light and dark blues are a nice contrast...

    Though the ads are -annoying-...

    I love the splash and banner... and the hentai free sign is really cool...

    Yes, once again.. Add's gotta hate them. Other than that its ok but i think that the nav bar borders are to thick and it looks a little weird, other than that its good.
     
    What server are you using. If you ask nicely to most servers they will remove banners for free. But if they don't I reccomend moving because banner adds=visitors think you're a cheapskate

    what the fact that i agree with stalis? well thats probably cuz i had let pc cuz of him then came back to read an apology from him... ok... i didnt ask but just before i got better hosting i had no ads for a few months
     
    Okay... and I was talking about the Geocities thing.
     
    I know Netfirms won't remove the ads for me, I've tried. Yes, the ads look ugly, but look at it this way. I've been searching for a better host (no ads) for more than 2 years now; I won't put up with popups or popunders. If anyone could help, that would be great, but I've applied to things like 3x.ro and Fairmount already and they didn't accept my applications.
     
    Well, basically.. if you have adds or your freewebs it shows your a cheapskate. Basically if you are really interested in making a good site that people will come to then you will buy a domain (there like $8.95/yr) I'm pretty sure someone can afford that, if not then try and sell something online or something.. its not hard to do. For most of my sites i have a .com and for Pokemon-World i have .com/.net coz i use .net as a media host.
     
    A cheapskate? I'm sorry, but I don't appreciate being described as one of those. I may be 14, but it doesn't mean I have huge spending power. I'm not allowed to buy a domain name. I'm not allowed to buy anything, including hosting. I have strict parents. Not all parents are the same, you know - I've had to save all my money since I was four, and it's only in the last couple of months I've even been allowed to spend it on things like CDs - and that only if the CDs are on really cheap sale.
     
    How much bandwidth do you go through on average?

    I'd be willing to host you... but you gotta give me some stats on size and bandwidth.

    If you like the idea, feel free to ask... though I'm only offering it because it's a good site, and I've noticed that you are rather devoted to your sites.

    BTW, I have php, and you can have a mySQL database.
     
    Really? You'd do that? Thanks! Are we talking PW or TPP here? For TPP, it's only been up a couple of weeks so I have no idea about the space/bandwidth needs - however, I do know details of PW's if you want those o_O. And TPP will end up pretty similar to PW (although a Pok?dex has fewer monsters than a Digidex), so that will be about the same...
     
    If it isn't like 20 GB a month, I'd be willing to host both...

    I can always buy more space/bandwidth. :p

Well, what's happening with PW at the moment is this: The site in all, including Digidex but not image galleries (as mine are huge, 400-500 images per episode), is probably about 50-60 MB at the moment, but the Digidex is only half-finished and I haven't done any cards/games stuff on the site. As for bandwidth, we get through about a gig a month for the main site (that's the limit on my host) and for the Digidex, I have no idea as we always run out of bandwidth o_O. *nods*

    I'll see if I can clear out some old stuff...

    The url would be something like https://www.jessem.elixant.com/whatever (or if you want a subdomain, i could do that)... would that be okay?

    And a gig, that's about it? No problem what-so-ever. ^^;;
     
    A gig for the main site, plus if you wanted to host the Digidex as well that would be another gig or maybe a little more? A subdomain would be great, but I forgot to ask if you have Frontpage access? If you don't, that's OK but I would only ask you to host TPP then. XD ^^
     
    We're getting kinda OT... but yeah, I have frontpage access. I just gotta learn how to set it up. o.o

    Would it be okay if I gave you a subdomain, and you could just build both sites in there? You seem to use the .tk redirectors anyways, so yeah. :/
