Required...period of time? o.o; Anyways, it looks good! Normally, Erica overuses pink (like in her current sig) but she does great work with blue, too. :3

Required period of time refers to the time a requester SHOULD (>__>) Use a banner. It's really disrespectful if you request a banner, someone works their arse off to make it, and the requester doesn't use it, or only for a few seconds (hardly exaggerated).
 
Ohh, I get that part, but how long is the period, typically? A month? Not that I could ever understand why you'd give something up made by Erica. D:

Most thememakers settle on three days minimum. Oh, and yeah, but you wouldn't believe how arrogant some requesters are. Some make double requests at two shops. What do you expect to happen to one of the banners? RAR.

I know. You look through shops and you're like "huh? Didn't they just post over there?"

I know this sounds lame, but it should be against some sort of rule to have two active requests at once, just to make it fair on those who spend time making these themes.

That is a huge pain. In different forums, such as NF, there are a lot of requesters like that. I sometimes tell them off, even though I'm not the who takes the requests. Honestly, don't they feel any regret at all?

Oh, wow, I see. I take pretty much no requests, because I don't think I could ever create something good enough for someone else to use. It takes me hours just to make a 100x100. xD;

Erica did make me a theme once, for my 17th birthday. ~ ♥ But then Andy stole it. ;_;

I'm going to ignore that pink comment. XD But yes, I don't have a required period of time, but I've spent HOURS on a sig only to have someone use it for 4 days. That...is annoying, to say the least. o.o

I thought I'd get away with it. ;_; I was going to make a bubblegum remark about your avatar afterwards, too. Oh well.

But, yeah, that's another thing. I'd hate to work on a sig for so long, only to have it discarded after a couple of days. I'd be upset, and I'd probably feel like I didn't do a good job on it. oo;

I wouldn't say it's the maker's fault, or because they didn't do a good job. It's just because the requester is one- *ahem*. I'll leave it at that.
 
Oh, sure. But I have a tendency to blame myself if anything goes wrong in any way. XD; Which is why I'm uncomfortable making graphics for other people. Also it is very hard
 
xD Yeah, I don't mind if people ditch my sigs after a while, but only after a couple of days? I can't stand that. <_<; If someone wants to change their sigs that much, they should learn how to make them themselves because I think when you actually have to sit there and do it yourself, you don't feel as inclined to change it all the time. Guess you get an appreciation for how long it takes to make them. XD
 
I only learned because I didn't want to have to ask anyone, though I'm sure I could have gotten a lot of pretty sets if I had wanted them. There was a time when I thought that uploading an image was too complicated for me to understand, procrastinated learning how, and thus never had a sig. :x Not at PC, but not too long before it, either.

That and I'm lazy, or don't always feel like sitting there with Photoshop for hours on end trying to make something look nice. It takes me absolutely forever now to make sigs. I'm not sure why since I used to make nice ones in half an hour tops or something. XD

Bobbyyy...ask me again in like...a week or something. xD I'm pretty much all graphicked out for the next while.
