Lucciola Avalon

Name: Lucciola Avalon
Age: 21
Appearance: Lucciola stands around 6'1 with a broad shouldered build and a fairly average complexion though there is a slight darkness to it but this is due to coal clouds he walks through daily, his eyes are a shining green that almost sparkle in direct light while his hair is a dirty blond colour at about medium length and is often in a straight yet slightly wavy in formation.

Most people would think he was some over grown paper boy due his manner of dress which consists of brown three quarter pants with brown suspenders attached to them, dirty white button up shirt and a light brown jacket and a beige newsboy cap. All of this is his usual common dress because of the various odd jobs he does much of his clothing isn't of the cleanest fashion, though there isn't any rips or tears in any of them but some of them are a bit worn down from their original colours.

Personality: Lucciola is a carefree person that loves to enjoy life in all it's forms and cares deeply for all innocent life but that hasn't stopped him having to work odd jobs since he's now too old for being a paper boy, but whenever he gets time he goes to sit upon high places and look out into the distance in hopes of traveling the world to see new and interesting sights. Though he has no specific place in mind because he's not that well versed in the geographical features of his land since he never really went to school though that doesn't mean he isn't a learned person because unlike some of his class, he can both read and write fairly well and even happens to like doing so when he gets the chance to read or write he's usually up in those high places imagining places beyond the horizon where anything is possible.

Though most consider him too much of a dreamer Lucciola knows he's capable of much more then odd jobs and has been known to adapt to spontaneous situations fairly well and often survives on his wits and adaptive skills, so he hopes one day he'll go out on a big adventure where he can enjoy himself while still giving back to the world in anyway that he can. He hopes that someday he'll be able to become some kinda of hero or hope for other people of his class since many of them resign themselves to their pitful existence while Lucciola dreams of a better future, where he can help who grow up as poor as he did a better and morer fifthfilling life so that they too can live their dreams.

History: Lucciola was born into a lower class family where everyday was a fight for survival amongst the terrible slums of his home town and it was that large a town that the little person was looked down upon or not at all, so at a young age Lucciola went out and found himself jobs mostly paperboy work which he did successfully for many years although the pay wasn't great it was at least some help to him and his family. He has a brother that is four years his senior but his attitude and ego leaves a lot to be desired so when he was old enough in his book Lucciola's brother left the family home, though their mother never found out but Lucciola heard that he may of fell into a bad crowd and could be wrapped up in the trouble rumoured to be occuring lately amongst the higher classes.

Once he got told old to be a paperboy he was cast out into the world where he used his learned skills to find himself odd jobs running errands or doing menial labour among the coal plants not far from his house, so this continued on as his family's health got worse and his mother died when he was 17 due to an unknown illness that Doctor's wouldn't even bother to look at because her social status. So now he was left alone since his elder brother had already long since left and his father had done the same numerous years earlier, thus he just continued his work among the coal plants and errand runs in till his dreams finally come true and he gets to go out further into the world.

RP Sample: Walking through the smog filled roads behind the coal plants Lucciola was minding his own business when he came across a couple of men harassing a young paperboy, and from what he could tell it was only over the payment for the paper which he knew the boy was entitled too so he stepped forward "Hey you two, back off and give the boy his money" warned Lucciola. The two man looked over and saw him and just laughed "What are you going to do about it kid" asked one of the men as he stepped away from the boy, while the other one kept a hold of the kid's arm "Well I'll take you both on if I have too, because that boy deserves his payment so please give it too him" replied Lucciola.

The men looked at each other "Well you did say please" commented the man who was about a metre away from Lucciola and took a coin out of his pocket and flipped it toward the newsboy, "Now scram boy" commented the man and the other one let him go as the kid gave a look and smile to Lucciola and run off down the alley towards the open street. "Now that the kids gone, we can take that coin out of your hide" expressed the man in front of Lucciola who then cracked his knuckles while the man's friend approached, "Seems like an unfair fight here, but oh well me and my honour" commented Lucciola who just barely dodged a punch the first man attempted without warning.

So after just dodging what could've been a hay maker Lucciola grabbed the man's arm and used it to block his friend's attack which had him breaking a plank of wood over the first man's arm, "Serves you right" adds Lucciola as he jumps back and the man with the plank drops it and starts apologizing while the hurt one is telling him to shut up. Using this opportunity Lucciola makes a run towards the street so that he can maybe find a bobby to help him though he figured his poor appearance and the fact that he's running would likely make him look suspect, but it took a few seconds for the two men to relieze that their new play thing had ran away so they go after him at their top speed.

But it's not enough to catch up to the youthful Lucciola whose already into the crowd and dodging people back and forth since he's done this several times in his youth, and most of the time for similar reasons to the newsboy that he helped on minutes before but he's happy once he finds that he's run so far into the crowd that the two men are long gone.

Odette Judith Doyle

Age: 16
Appearance: Odette is first and foremost set off by her copper blonde hair, which is really a nice way of saying that it is quite orange. Her face is decorated with a line of freckles that start right under her eyes and comes together over the bridge of her nose. A solid line of pretty freckles that don't get appreciated enough. Her skin, however, is fair enough, it's the kind of fair that doesn't tan, at all, and so she can't handle long periods of sun very well. Her skin burns bad and she gets a heatstroke easily. A portable parasol does wonders, really.
Her copper hair has natural ringlets that curl beautifully and quite neatly, which almost counteract the fact that they are orange, in the Victorian chart of beauty. Almost. She's of average height, a bit closer to the small scale, and a healthy starvation has kept her very thin, which is only maximized by the wonderful thing called a corset. She does have a tendency of letting herself go when it comes to eating, something that is sure to be maximized by the coming absence of her glowering mother.


Odette's high-class rank causes her to have to wear the full apparel whenever she is awake. For house-calls, parties or simply sitting at home, waiting for a party, she would have to wear a corset, petticoats and heavy loads of silk, brocade, or any fabric that her mother finds that she needs to wear at that moment. Yes, Odette is indeed dressed by her mother, but Judith Doyle can be very convincing. Naturally she completely disapproves of Odette's decisions. Odette has tons of dresses made especially for her, but for the occasion of the journey, she wears something a little lighter, though still properly heavy. And, of course, God forbid she should be able to breathe!


Personality: Odette is in all aspects a bit of a rebel. As much as she can at least, which isn't at a lot, truthfully. She has been taught to be a proper lady in all aspects. Know when to shut your mouth and sip your tea while looking pretty. Patience has never been a virtue that she has possessed however, and she has this unfortunate thing that she always speaks when she's not supposed to. So, in a way, she really doesn't know when to shut her mouth and sip her tea.


She has guts, that has to be admitted. She dares to do things that others wouldn't so easily dare to do, even if they are things that come back to haunt her. This sets her apart from other people, even if she lived in an age where being set apart from someone isn't the best that could happen. But, she is an eye catcher, with her bold presence and bright hair it is hard to overlook her in a crowd.


But, no one ever accuses Odette of making smart decisions all of the times. It's a good thing that she's not too bad at lying and sneaking around, or she would have ruined her life a long time ago. Developing affairs with servants is not really the best thing for a girl's reputation, especially an unmarried one…

History: Odette had always been a lively little girl. Born to the very rich Doyle family, a name that is renown all throughout the Buhar region. She was born with a curiosity that was bigger than her mouth, and often got in trouble for saying things she shouldn't. And that was when she was just a child. It went so far that she got sent to a finishing school where she learned her manners and such. Or, more accurately, the manners were pretty much ironed in while they attempted to iron out the wrinkles, to use a nice metaphor.


Pokémon have always intrigued Odette greatly, though her family never really owned many, for her mother detested them. This one detail cause Odette to let her streak of rebellion against her mother's controlling ways grow. She started to interact with Pokémon as much as she could, she even begged a low-class worker who worked in the Doyle's main house's stables to teach her about them. Why the Doyle's would have a stable if Judith Doyle didn't like Pokémon? Very simple, Jonathan Doyle, Odette's father, did like them, and kept them all in a big stable-complex.


This particular servant taught Odette everything he knew, and they used to have little battled with her father's Pokémon when she was home from finishing school. And when she permanently returned, she always made time to play with the creatures and to talk to Naveen. Between fancy house-calls and the parties she would hang out and try not to get her dress dirty, which was rather difficult in a stable.


Of course, her mother did not approve and forbade her to talk to Naveen. This, naturally, did not stop Odette at all, and she simply started sneaking around to see him. It really isn't surprising that this turned into a love affair, sneaking out in the middle of the night to see a guy usually does that. She kept it secret pretty well though, no one ever found out. But Odette wasn't really happy when Judith proposed that she should start looking for a husband, she was already 16 after all, time to continue the doyle line! Odette thought nothing of it. She and Neveen spent hours trying to think of a way to keep this from happening, and finally got to the Trainer part. It would lower Odette's status considerably, but she would delay her marriage for a long time. And if she succeeded, then she would be famous, and surely to get a good marriage. She pressured her parents, especially her father, into letting her. She argued that she would take a servant with her to take care of her, nothing would happen to her with his protection!


And so Odette was off, quite happily, with Naveen as her 'servant', she couldn't be happier.

Lucian Aridale:

Name: Lucian Aridale
Age: 18

Appearance:
The first thing one would notice about Lucian is his height. He stands above many people, but even with his father at six feet two inches. His eyes are green, though he has been told they look almost gold in very bright sunlight. Many people adore his eyes because of this, though Lucian doesn't really care because they're just eyes. His skin is medium pale. Not sun-tanned and not very white like someone who barely gets out and about. As for his hair, Lucian prefers to keep it moderately long. He had to convince his father that it would not look girlish, so he takes very careful care of his hair. It is a brown color with natural sandy highlights. If he didn't comb it, his hair would be a complete curly mess. It falls to a bit above his shoulders currently.

For clothing, Lucian has some of the best. His pants are black suspenders that go to his clean black shoes. He wears a laundered and absolutely spotless white frilly shirt. Technically only the neck and cuffs are frilly, but otherwise Lucian doesn't know how to describe it. Over this shirt he wears a black jacket that goes to a bit above his knees. The buttons on his jacket are a shiny gold. Now back to his spotless shoes. Lucian's shoes are technically boots. They go all the way up to his knee. They turn out at the top, and his pants are stuffed down in the boots. So technically they reach the boots, it's just Lucian's boots are rather tall. They are made out of a fine soft material, which Lucian finds rather enjoyable.

He does not worry himself with accessories. Occasionally he will put a spare tie for his hair in the pockets of his jacket, but other than that simple object there is nothing. Yes, he has obtained multiple valuable trinkets in his life, but Lucian does not see the need to wear them unless he is going to some sort of fancy dinner thing.

Personality:
Lucian's one big stiff. He's quiet no matter who he's around. He doesn't trust anyone, ever. This is because of his people issues, which played a great part in shaping the "man" that he is. Lucian does indeed think of himself as a man because of the things he has seen, and will not let anyone else tell him otherwise. Lucian isn't the type to be mean for no reason to a person, however, he will simply be blunt and seemingly standoffish. Truthfully he would enjoy getting close to a person, but he keeps that wish locked deep within himself. If someone would try to get him to admit it, he would most likely tell them to please get away from his personal life. Lucian does try to be polite and well mannered, even if he is telling someone to back off indirectly.

Lucian is rather bold as well. It fits with his stubborn attitude, so they probably went hand and hand when he grew up. If a challenge is presented to him, Lucian will refuse to back down until said challenge has been solved (by him). That being said, Lucian is also a fairly smart person. He's cunning and clever, but not to an extreme point. The level of brainpower he currently has is probably from his schooling as a child through his teen years. Lucian is rather proud of the fact that he is pretty well rounded in terms of his abilities. The only thing he can't seem to bring himself to want to do is take the time to actually learn these skills. Though he is a moderately fast learner (which shows through his abilities), he detests the learning process because he generally finds it dull.

History:
Lucian, though he hates admitting it, was mostly pampered throughout his life. His father was the owner of some rich company, so through that Lucian benefited (or he didn't, if one would wish to view it that way). Sure, Lucian didn't turn out snobby (though he may sometimes come off that way), but he did learn to trust in the more refined things of life. That, of course, is not always a good thing. Anyway, Lucian's mother had sadly passed in an attempt to have another child. Both Lucian's mother and unborn sister died. Lucian was roughly six years of age, and that was the first time he learned not to love someone so much. The pain was just unbearable.

As he grew, Lucian continued to be taught by his private tutors. His father said that school was for poor people, and that he wanted Lucian to be properly educated so he could one day take over the company. Lucian never really had much experience with Pokemon, but it was something that made him curious. Often times he would see them from the window of the room he was studying in and wonder what made them so great. Of course, his father said that Pokemon were just play things and unacceptable for a young man to play with. So, Lucian smothered that curiosity as best he could and focused (well, as much as he could manage anyway) on his studies.

When he was fourteen, Lucian made friends with a girl. She was poor as dirt, but Lucian found her fun. She was truthfully the reason he got introduced to Pokemon. When his father found out, however, Lucian was forbidden to see her. Once a week at night he would sneak out and play with her and the little Pidgey that was often in her company though. Soon his father learned of this, and Lucian was punished. The girl (because she lived on Lucian's father's grounds) and her family were banished. Lucian felt true hurt in this, and soon closed himself off to his father. He vowed to never trust another person again in his life.

Name: Kyle Laurel (Get Back!)

Age: 18

Sex: Male

Day of Birth: September 20th

Appearance: Kyle is a child of a middle-class family, and as such, he must dress accordingly. For his journey, he is wearing a dark brown Norfolk Jacket, so that he isn't as restricted as he would be normally, and gray trousers. He is also wearing a brown bowler hat as well. He is wearing a gray waistcoat under his Norfolk jacket. His shoes are brown as well, and tougher to withstand the harsh roads.

Kyle himself isn't that bad looking. His skin is somewhat pale, but he doesn't burn in the sun, like others of his complexion. His hair is light-brown, and has been cut short as well, so it wouldn't get in his way. He also wears glasses, and its lenses are ovular in shape. His eyes are a bright blue, and his ears are somewhat large for his head. Kyle is about 4'10" tall, which is pretty short for a man of his age, always having to rely on others to get stuff for him. His frame is fairly thin as well. He isn't fat, nor is he muscular, only thin. His legs are short and thin, while his arms are a little long for how tall he is. His fingers are long as well. His fingernails aren't really kept up, so they look dirty.

He also wears a bracelet on his left arm, it is made of gold, and inscribed inside, away from view, are the words Kyle and Elise, symbolizing a relationship at his home. He also has a mark on his hat, due to something that happened with some paint before.

Personality: Kyle is an overall light-hearted person, who likes to rough it in the wilderness, which is why he finds pokemon training to be an appealing career. He also attempts to charm women with his words, but more often then not, he fails. Even having a wife, he still flirts, but is not serious in his attempts. To men, he acts cocky, confident, so that he can feel better about himself, while showing off his skills to others.

Kyle is a braggart as well, telling people about the things he did, even if no one's listening. He is afraid of large bodies of water, and does not want much to do with it, and another fear of his is to be locked up in prison, but he is not afraid to jump head first into a battle. A lot of people see this as a sign of stupidity, but he sees it as a sign of valor. To his wife, he is always kind and attempts to refrain from his flirtation, but he can't help himself at times. Despite his apparent attraction with every good-looking woman, he is indeed drawn to his wife the most.

History: Kyle was born to the Laurel family, a middle-class family that usually sent their kids on a journey, to let them collect money through battling others, and as soon as they settle down, they normally begin to work in crafts, like painting or metalworking. Chris was taught to paint at a young age, and is quite adept at it, not the best, but his paintings can sell. But with that, he hasn't had much time to see other people. He attempted to learn metalworking, but he couldn't get the grasp of it, so they taught him to paint. His older brother, Christopher Laurel who is but three years older then him always mocked him for being unable to do the family's metalworking, but as he got older, the taunts came less and less, and finally, three years ago, he went out on his own journey.

Kyle painted pictures to sell to people for money, earning quite a bit for his family, but despite his love for painting, he still wanted to go on a journey, partly to live outside, but partly to defeat his brother at something that they both could be good at. However, before he could go on his journey, he was told to stay so that they could solidify some sort of monetary position, or even make it into upper-class, so he stayed. At about the age of twelve, he met a girl named Elise, and she was of a middle-class family. They got to know each other, and eventually, Kyle was married to her, and at the age of seventeen, became a father of a pair of twins. Now Kyle is waiting to go on his journey, and to face his brother.

Three days before he went out, he received a letter from his brother, challenging him about a year later, which caused Kyle to get more excited about training. He felt sad to leave his family, but if he could win his challenge, he would be able to support his family better.

Name: Kristopher 'Kris' Lucian

Gender: Male
Age: 17​

Appearance: Kris stands at six feet one inch, with solid grey eyes and short black hair gelled to one side, but still spiking up slightly. He has an easy complexion from spending an equal amount of his time outside as well as indoors. Upon his torso he wears a red dinner jacket, which extends past his waist at the back and ends in two points. This is worn over the top of a clean black button-up shirt with long sleeves, around his chest there is a copper ring which acts as protection from most weapons. He doesn't wear it for fear of being attacked; he simply saw other people wearing it and decided to add it to his ensemble.

Moving on, Kris wears a pair of simply black dress pants to match his shirt. A short silver chain is attached to one of his belt loops and links to another one further along. His shoes are a pair of slick leather dress shoes with pointed toes, no laces, and slightly raised heels. Hanging from his neck is a pair of goggles, made mostly from copper, leather, and, of course, thick glass for the lenses.​

Personality: Despite his parents being peasants and growing up in poverty, with barely enough food to survive, Kris speaks with a sophisticated tone of voice. It's as if he were raised by the king himself. This is Kris' way of growing up and leaving the thought of his childhood behind him as he progresses into adulthood. This is also the reason why he has chosen to go on this Pokémon journey, to better mature himself for the world.

Kris is a kind and thoughtful young man, but can easily become hostile if you get on his bad side or deprave him of something he yearns for. He's willing to help those in need, but usually expects thanks in return. With lots of upper body strength from growing up on a farm, and also plenty of leg muscle, Kris isn't someone you'd want to make your enemy. Best to just show him respect and not make him angry.​

History: As stated before, Kris lived on a farm with his mother and father. That's where he was born and that's where he grew up, this is the first time he's been away from home. Back then, all Kris' life consisted of was helping his father chop wood and hauling it back to the house, getting fresh water from the well, and ploughing the earth to get ready for the wheat which they grew. He'd also help his mother with small tasks from time to time, such as; making bread, sweeping, and washing clothes.

As much as Kris hated doing this, he knew someday he'd be able to get away from all of it and make something of himself. His mother told him to stop dreaming, saying, 'Only people in the royal family make it in life. The best you can hope to be is a stepping stone for them.' This didn't deter Kris; instead, it made him angry. Kris didn't like being told to stop trying to better himself and just accept his life as a peasant. He knew that one day he'd succeed. That's why, when Professor Cotton sent out the notice that he was handing out Pokémon to new trainers, Kris leapt at the opportunity.​

Thats fine with me. I don't really tell you where you have to be at a certain time. If you wanted you can make your character stay on the route for like 10 days. (Not that you'd want to, its just an example.)

Ok i was going to wait until someone posted, hint hint, but with Christmas only two days away I thought I would let you guys off the hook. I will probally only be able to get a few times on Christmas Eve and definitly won't be on Christmas. So you can post today, tomorrow, and the day after christmas. [Snow Phoenix]

Name: Chao Rishin

Age: 21

Appearance: Chao stands at height of about five feet and two inches with a medium muscle-lacking build. His black hair is short and matted down with an english top-hat. His eyes are black and slanted off to the sides and his chin is hairless and smooth.

For the most part Chao has adopted the victorian style of the Buhar region. He wears a white vest and brown pants topped by a tall black coat. His shoes are black to match his outfit and in his pocket he carries a small pocket watch.

Personality: Chao is hot-headed, rash, and almost way to curious for his own good. It was those three traits in the first place that caused him to leave his homeland. He is the type of person who often acts before he thinks which often causes him to run into trouble. His temper also tends to get the best of him and he often finds himself sticking his nose into other people's buisness.

Chao's ambitions are what drive him to perform his best. It is because of this that he brands many people as his rivals in order to push himself. He furthermore will never give in to any challenge unless confronted with no other option.

History: Chao was born in a distant Asian country. He lived a pretty mediocre childhood in a modest town until he was fifteen and decided that village life was too bland. From then Chao began edging towards the sea and shortly after his sixteen birthday he decided to cross it and reach the Buhar region while serving as an indentured servant.

In the Buhar region he served five years under a wealthy retired merchant where he learned to speak english. During his work in the manor he also learned to respect the merchant's work and when he had earned his freedom he set out to become a merchant. He undertook the role of taking care of a pokemon so he could survey and learn about the trade patterns of the land while receiving the protection of having a pokemon.

Roleplay Sample: (I am creating something randomly made as I am constantly improving and feel that there is no "current" example of my writing at the moment)

The wind fluttered past Jake's hair as the ship began to sail away. Tears filled his eyes, but he did not know why. Was it the wind or was it her? He smirked at the thought and tossed his hair slightly with his left hand. Of course she had touched him and Jake knew that now his heart could never be as cold as it once was. "Captain! Full speed towards the next harbor!" he shouted with the strength of his ambitions even though inside his heart drowned in deep melancholy. The captain edged towards the wheel and glided his fingers across the smooth surface of the wheel. He had already begun to straighten his position when a voice took stopped him. "Wait!" the young woman's voice echoed to the dock and proliferated. Jack immediately turned around and he met the eyes of the woman that he loved waiting at the minuscule dock. "Jake, I won't forgive you if you don't come back! So you better!" Marissa shouted at him with a bit of a quiver and her usual dour expression. Jack paused. A smile lit his face and the tears became a stream. "Al, set her off…" Jack spoke softly. The ship began pulling farther away and Jack just smiled back at the unyielding Marissa.

Name: Giovanni Raidante
Age: 21
Appearance:
Giovanni comes from a family of strong buerocrats and underlords so he inherited strong features from his family. Giovanni is 6"0 flat and weighs 192 lbs., mostly because of muscle. He hones his body every day and as such, he has well-developed bicepts, triceps, quads, thighs, and abs. His skin is a deep tan due to training in the sun for hours. Giovanni has a square jaw covered by a trimmed black beard and mustache.

His eyes are a deep emerald hue, inherited from his mother. Not one to shirk on his appearance, Giovanni has pearly white teeth from using herbal juices on them nightly. His family's beliefs and lineage casued him to get a tatoo on his right forearm of a tribal Rayquaza, his family's 'house' Pokemon. Around his neck, Giovanni wears a pendant with a hexagon-cut emerald framed in platinum which his father gave to him. On his right index finger and his left ring finger, he wears two platinum rings, one encrusted with a small emerald, the other a plain ring.

Giovanni wears only the finest of clothing provided by the seamtresses of his household. He is commonly seen wearing a long-sleeved, white cotton shirt under a vest of black satin with intricate emerald trim and the crest of his family, a coiled Rayquaza, on the right breast. Due to being an outdoorsy person, Giovanni wears black denim jeans, he owns nothing else, and a pair of brown leather shoes with diamond-shaped gold buckles.

Personality:
Despite living the posh-lifestyle since his birth, Giovanni prefers to do nothing more than trump the forests around his father's estate and practice his archery. When not playing bows-and-arrows in the woods, he also enjoys to ride around the estate on his prized Ponyta, bred from a shiny Rapidash and a Rapidash caught in another region. Giovanni is also a rather knowledgeable, if not arrogant and sarcastic person. He can tell you almost anything you need to, or don't need to, know about a Pokemon, herb, body of water, or place.

When annoyed, he can turn his eloquent tongue used to weave his way out a querrel with his parents into a weapon more deadly than any sword. Giovanni enjoys being sarcastic and cutting others down when they deserve it, but he also knows how to weave words in such a way that no one can say no to him, or so he thinks. Contrary to his rather cold and self-absorbed self, Giovanni does have a vunerable and tender side. He cannot help but feel shame when he has done wrong in a way that upsets a woman or someone he loves, and the sight of an injured Pokemon turns him into a male-Nurse Joy. All in all, Giovanni is a young man with a cold and narcissicistic outer shell, but has a heart of the purest gold.

History:
Giovanni is a member of the prestigious and illustrious House of Rayquaza, headed by Giovanni's parents, the Lord Kuji and the Lady Tsumi. Since birth, Giovanni was taught in the way of being a member of the Rayquaza House, and more importantly, being a member of the Raidante family. He was taught to play violin, piano, cello, and lute all before he was seven. At age eight, he asked his father for a bow and arrows, which Kuji graciously gave him. It was then that Giovanni fell in love with archery. He would practice every day in the woods, setting up targets and shooting them from varied, and sometimes astounding, distances.

Along with a love of archery, Giovanni had a great passion for literature, specifically mythology. He'd spend hours in the east wing library of his home reading about old legends and the Pokemon centered around them. However, his mother saw to it that he was also well knowledged in herblore, the geology of Buhar, and the Pokemon that lived in his home region. Giovanni also took up Ponyta-riding and even had one specially bred for him as a gift on his tenth birthday.

Giovanni never showed much interest in women, but they always swooned when they saw him. He'd occassionally give in to one or another's desire to be with him simply to show his father that he had even the slightest interest in finding a wife, which he doesn't, and then toss her as soon as his father quit complaining. No, Giovanni instead chose to train his body during his teenage-years. He'd spend hours in the sun doing all forms of exercise to hone his body. His father hired a swordsmaster to teach him to fight with a sword and a spear, and his mother hired a monk to teach him yoga and meditation exercises. Yes, Giovanni was molding himself into the perfect picture of a young man.

A recent pang for adventure struck Giovanni, and so he packed his things; a black leather notebook, a picture of his parents, a PokeBall he made from an Apricorn, and a few of his favorite mythology texts and left home to become a Pokemon Trainer.

Giovanni eyed the Houndour with a stalwart gaze. He reached for the PokeBall at his waist and shouted, "Come forth, Eevee!"

Throwing the PokeBall from his belt into the air, out sprang forth an Eevee! Eve, Giovanni's Eevee, let out a cry as it glared at the wild Houndour.

The Houndour growled low and lunged forth, readying a Fire Fang attack! Giovanni smiled smugly, "Eevee, Sand-Attack," he said cooly.

Eve quickly kicked up a hefty amount of sand which stopped the Houndour in its tracks. Giovanni watched as it spurted and coughed on sand and its eyes began to tear from foreign particles finding their way in. "Good work, Eve," Giovanni said, petting Eve, whom purred in response, "now, return." He pressed the button on the capsule and Eve became enveloped in a red light before disappearing into the PokeBall's confines.

Okay, I know that if I get the Wild Card, then my Pokemon has to be a type that isn't listed, but there are so many Normal-types and Eevee can evolve into anything but Normal, so if I get the Wild Card, can I keep it? Also, I modified its movepool a bit to give me a bit of fair ground since Eevee learns moves every seven levels. I also added the move Shadow Ball becuase, well I always see Eevee with that move and its a kind of personal preference.
