Brandon was happy that he was in route three so he started skipping along the route until suddenly, he tripped and fell on the ground. "Ouch, that hurts," said Brandon. He got back up and saw two Pidgey looking at him. "Why hello there, what are you two doing here on the ground?" asked Brandon. "Pidgey?!" said one of the Pidgey in a confused way. "Well if you aren't here to play, let's battle then!" exclaimed Brandon.

Brandon sent out Squirtle and when Squirtle came hopping out of its Pokeball, Brandon told it to use Tackle. Squirtle ran towards the Pidgey on the right and when the Squirtle hit the Pidgey, the other Pidgey used Tackle on Squirtle. Squirtle was getting ganged up by the two Pidgey so Brandon made Squirtle return and then the two Pidgey wanted to play but Brandon ran towards the Pidgey and ran towards Viridian Forest without fighting them two any longer.

To Mr. Diamond: Since you wrote a small battling scene. Congradulations! Your Squirtle grew to level 7!

Chapter 5: Viridian Forest.
Description: A forest leading to Route Five and Pewter City.

In Route Three you can catch a Pokemon, battle a random trainer, or pick up items in the route.

Aaron was walking inside the Viridian Forest and he was walking along inside the forest while suddenly, he saw a Pokemon trainer wanting a battle. "Hey you! I want a battle with you! The battle will be a two on two Pokemon battle!" exclaimed the Pokemon trainer. "You're on then," said Aaron. Aaron brought out Bulbasaur and Pidgey and they were ready to go. The Pokemon trainer sent out a Poliwag and a Machop.

"Alright Bulbasaur use Leech Seed! Pidgey, you can use Tackle!" exclaimed Aaron. When Bulbasaur spurted seeds all over Poliwag and Machop, they both started to lose health. Pidgey flew towards Machop and then it got hit on the chest. "Alright! Poliwag use Water Gun and Machop use Low Kick!" exclaimed the Pokemon trainer. When Poliwag squirted water on Bulbasaur, it didn't effect it at all. When Machop use Low Kick, it tripped over Bulbasaur.

The Machop and the Poliwag were getting weaker and weaker by the minute. "Use Tackle again Pidgey! Use Tackle Bulbasaur!" exclaimed Aaron. Bulbasaur and Pidgey went towards Machop and Poliwag and then when they hit, Machop and Poliwag were both down on the ground. "Oh, you have defeated me, now I congradulate you by giving you two hundred dollars." said the Pokemon trainer. Aaron walked for hours and then when he was done, he saw the exit of the Viridian Forest.
 
Adrian was just entering the Viridian Forest and when he was walking a few minutes later, he saw a Pikachu in the nearby bushes. "Why hello there, you're a cute Pikachu," said Adrian. The Pikachu looked at him and then when he looked at the Pikachu, the Pikachu shocked him. "Ouch! That hurts!" hollered Adrian. Come on out Charmander!" exclaimed Adrian. When Charmander came out, it looked like it's ready to battle Pikachu.

"Alright Charmander! Use Ember!" exclaimed Adrian. Charmander swagged its tail towards Pikachu and the Pikachu was burned. Pikachu was burned and it was losing health fast so it used Thundershock on Charmander. The shock hit Charmander and when it hit Charmander, Pikachu was getting weaker by the second so it was a good time to catch it. "Okay! Go pokeball!" exclaimed Adrian.

Adrian was happy when he caught the Pikachu so he quickly found the exit of the Viridian Forest and then started to run towards the exit.
 
Brandon just got inside the Viridian Forest and right when he got inside, a Pokemon trainer spotted him and wanted a battle from him. "Hey you? I want a battle from you," said the Pokemon trainer. "Okay then, let this be a fun one," said Brandon. Brandon brought out Squirtle and the Pokemon trainer brought out Vulpix. "Okay Squirtle! Use Bubble!" exclaimed Brandon. Squirtle stood in one spot and blew bubbles at Vulpix. "Now Vulpix! Use Ember!" exclaimed the Pokemon trainer.

The battle continued and it was a magnificant battle and Squirtle and Vupix were still standing. "Okay now! Use Bubble Squirtle!" exclaimed Brandon. Squirtle stood there in one place again and then blew bubbles again at Vulpix. "Use Ember Vulpix!" exclaimed the Pokemon trainer. When the flame went on Squirtle, it got burned and Vulpix was on the ground. The Pokemon trainer had no more Pokemon left and Brandon won one hundred dollars.

Brandon shook the Pokemon trainers hand and he walked for hours in the Viridian Forest. Brandon suddenly saw the exit when he made a right turn and then he ran towards the exit.
