i go with either red or pink..i usually pick a fire type starter (unless they look dumb in thier third form like infernape) and the guy in hoenn who tells you what type of pokeblock your pokemon likes it usualy is pink... then with all my other its red.. so yeah..

usually i do.. i first weaken them with my starter then i use other pokemon to make the legendary's health go down just a little on each hit so i dont kill it. then i throw a million ultra balls and i eventualy capture it. (my friend caught a mewtwo without hurting it and with a pokeball.. he left his game on for 2 days trying to catch it with pokeballs and he accidentaly used a timer ball and he caught it)

Most of the time I do.. I use my starter to weaken the legendary, and if it faints, I go off to use other Pokemon.

Well, it depends. I don't know really ^^' last time I kind of used many different pokemon to catch groudon. I had gloom to use sleep powder last. (yeah, i didn't usee master ball)

Oh and I voted fo piplup/empoleon to be our mascot. But treecko or squirtle would be great too!

Well no. since there always the storngest ones on my team It'd usually kill the legendary pokes in one hit. so i use the mid lvl ones on my team/ pokes who can put a status effect on em.

I normally don't use my starter against the legendaries because even though I love the starters, I don't use them much for my team for some reason. O_o And since they aren't in my team, they usually aren't at a high enough level to fight a legendary.

Yes, I have used my starter Pokemon, Blastoise against some legendary Pokemons like Zapdos, Articuno, Moltres and Mewtwo. I used it to weaken the legendary.
