I think it's a pity they made the Hoenn starters look so "frail".

No..... I said the HOENN starters.... Torchic couldn't pull off a victory against a Wurmple in the show.... kinda.

And Treecko and Mudkip don't quite have the "pondus" that the Johto and Kanto starters had. Maybe it was because Ash didn't have the regular set of three starters in his team, and thus, they couldn't show off their stuff in the same way. Mudkip was frightenly unused in the show... wasn't it?

The full evolution of all starters are decent and I like all of them. My favorites are Typhlosion and Sceptile.

The way you're saying it, if a Person was a Pokemon Trainer/Breeder the person will have the highest level Pokemon.

And I love the Piplup in Starway's theme ^^ I think the Sinnoh starters are better than the Hoenn.

But you've seen that episode with Satoshi and Shinji battling against Zangoose and Metagross? Chimchar and Turtwig are just waaaayy to überstrong there :S
