Sorry to say I'm gonna back out of this challenge. I don't have any motivation for it, and really, I need to quit doing challenges in Unova. I love Unova, but I'm way burnt out on it and it makes me not want to play. So hopefully next time I sign up, I'll stick with it and pick a game I'm really wanting to play. -Beat Team Magma at Mossdeep Space Centre.
-Beat Archie in the Sea Floor Cavern.
-Sorted out that whole Kyogre/Groudon situation!
-Defeated Juan, with no real problems actually.
-Thrashed Wally on Victory Road, evolving Vibrava in the process.
-Wiped the floor with the first 3 of the Elite 4, struggled through Drake and Wallace.

I finally got time to actually start my challenge with my team in Volt White 2. I got my first gym badge against Cheren with minimal amounts of death. But for now I make my way to the next city in hopes of completing this channel.

- got the Tea and an Eevee from the Mansion
- replaced Super Potions with Lemonades, restocked
- defeated the gym trainers
- lost to Erika once
- followed by a quick victory via Tweety
- RAINBOW BADGE GET! AWESOME TM GET! ...even though I can't use it with my team
- gave the Tea to the guard so I can get into Saffron
- went to the Fighting Dojo quickly to judge the levels of their Pokemon
- went through the first two
- lost to Peacock for the first time in Lavender Town
- went back to Celadon
- 12 more triple 7s!
- redeemed coins for Mordecai the male Dratini (lvl. 24, Celadon City)
- beat Peacock
- climbed up Pokemon Tower
- helped Marowak pass on

Update 1: The Journey Begins

Spoiler:

-I begin the game. I choose Totodile as my starter. I go home and get my Pokegear. I head out to Route 29. I battle 2 Pidgey and a Sentret. Totodile levels up to Level 7. I get to Cherrygrove City. The man tours me, then he gives me the Running Shoes and the Map Card. I proceed to Route 30. I battle a Pidgey and a Metapod. Totodile levels up to Level 8. I get to Mr. Pokemon's house, get the Pokedex and the Egg, and head back to Cherrygrove. When I battled and crushed my rival, Totodile was Level 9. I head back to New Bark Town, go into the lab, and deal with the stolen Pokemon thing. I go back to Route 29. Even though I allready knew how, Lyra shows me how to catch Pokemon and then gives me some Poke Balls. By the time I reach Violet City, Totodile is allready Level 12. I head into the Pokemon Center, heal, and prepare for Bellsprout Tower, without any of my team needed for the challenge.

By the way, I'm not on the Challengers list yet.

Update 2: Pineco Hate Me

Spoiler:

-I enter Sprout Tower, battle way way to the top, and defeat the Elder guy.
-I win, and leave.
-I head to the Gym.
-I skip all the underlings and head straight to Falkner.
Gym Leader: Falkner
First Up: Pidgey: This was super-easy. Totodile just bit him and he fainted.
Second Up: Pidgeotto: Pidgeotto spammed Roost here. I was low on HP, and then I realized to use Water Gun instead of Bite. That got him.

-I claim the Zephyr Badge, and head out to Route 32.
-I gain some Lure Balls somewhere on the way.
-I heal at the Route 32 Pokemon Center.
-I enter Union Cave.
-I exit into Rt. 33.
-I get to Azalea Town, get through the Rocket Grunt Vs. Kurt cutscene, and head to Kurt's house.
-Kurt gives me a Fast Ball, and we both head to the Slowpoke Well.
-I beat Team Rocket in there, and headed to Ilex Forest.
-I have a battle encounter my rival. (named ??? cause I was out of names.)
Rival Battle: ???
There was only one highlight to this battle, so I'll list it.

Second Up: Bayleef: This was a crazy one. He kept slamming me with Razor Leaf and using Synthesis. I had his health down, I was poisoned, and at low HP. I was doomed. The Razor Leaf that would have KO'd me MISSED, so I got my payback with Bite. Victory! Then I rembered he still had another Pokemon.

Long story short, I won.

-I dealt with the Farfech'd thingy, then went to the Gym.
-On my way back, I catch Ratatta. (HM Slave)
-Halfway through, I battled one of the underlings, and Croconaw/Totodile (don't rember) learned Ice Fang.
-I get to Bugsy without any more battles.

Gym Leader: Bugsy
First Up: Scyther: Truly easy. Ice Fang got him.
Second Up: Kakuna: Ice Fang thing again.
Third Up: Metapod: Same thing.

Summed Up: Easy shot. Thank you, Ice Fang.

-I got the Badge, and I went back to Ilex Forest.
-I head to the Headbutt-teaching man, and have him teach my HM Slave Ratatta Headbutt.
-I did it because Headbutt is required for capturing Pineco. Pineco evolves into Forretress, and Forretress is one of my required Pokemon.

Pokemon Hunt: Pineco
First Spot: Ilex Forest: I Headbutt every tree in sight. I run into all the wrong Pokemon.
Second Spot: Azalea Town: Wrong Pokemon. I run into a Spearow, but I can't use it... so... darn.
Third Spot: Route 33: I get the same results here. This could take a while.
Final Spot: Route 32: Jackpot! I Headbutt a tree, and a Pineco appears. I use Ratatta to lower it's HP, but I kill it on accident. The same thing happens again. And again. Here wo go on Try #4. I lower it's HP, throw a Poke Ball, but I run out. All I have left is the Fast Ball and the Lure Balls. I try the Fast Ball, and I catch it!

Lesson Learned: A Pineco will not want to let you capture it. Pineco hate me.

I think you misunderstood, any National-Dex Pokémon I can trade as an Egg is fine, it doesn't have to be Gen5 only. Though that team is perfectly fine, so unless you want to change it, it definately gets my approval.
