Update 1

  • Started the game chose Cyndaquil as my starter
  • Did the Mr.Pokemon errand
  • Battle rival and won
  • Avoid most of the trainers leading to Violet City
  • Immediately challenge the gym and won
  • Avoided most of the trainers leading south of Violet City
  • Got the Old Rod and went all the way back to Cherrygrove City
  • Caught my first offical Pokemon Krabby. Named it Mr.Krabbs
  • Battle any trainers I avoided earlier and challenge BellSprout Tower with the help of Cyndaquil.
  • Battle everyone leading up to the union cave.
  • Beat everyone inside and outside of the Union Cave.
  • Immediately deposit Cyndaquil and the egg in Azalea Town
  • Did the Slowpoke Well Event
  • Challenge the gym and barely won with Mr.Krabbs
  • Taught Mr.Krabbs Mud-Slap and Furry Cutter
  • Beat Rival and went inside of Ilex Forrest,also did the farfected errand.
  • Taught Sentret(HM Slave) Cut and proceed the rest of Ilex Forrest
  • Outside of Rt. 34 as of now.
 
Money,Monkey,Money
-Got Cut in the Ilex Forrest.
-Got Headbutt, went hunting for team mate #3.
-Found and caught. Handy the Aipom.
-Made my way through the Forest to hunt team member #4.
-Caught Morph the Ditto.
-Trained.
-Took on Goldenrod Gym.
-Defeated Whitney using Handy's Swift on Clefairy and Snapper's Water Gun on Miltank.Got the Plain Badge and the Attract TM.

TEAM REPORT

I finally began this challenge about three or four hours ago. :)

I chose CYNDAQUILL just because.
Made my way to the town, got the running shoes, went to see Mr. Pokemon and Prof. Oak.
Got the egg and leveled up Cyndaquill 4 levels to defeat my Rival.
Made it back home, spoke to everyone, 'learned' how to catch Pokemon, then caught five randoms.
Traded the four randoms for four eggs, then traded a Pokemon with one of the ones I had holding a Water Stone from my other game.
I'll be saving the stone for my Poliwhirl later on in the game.
Hatched them all, gave them nicknames, and had Cyndaquill help level up my newbies.

One question. If I'm given a NFE Pokemon, can I evolve it, or do I have to use it unevolved?

After forgetting about this forum for some time, I've decided to return. xD

Last time I tried some challenges I majorly failed, so I'm gonna give it another go.

I kinda hate Tentacruel and Noctowl. Can I take Gastrodon and Snorlax instead? :)
