I'd like to join up :)

I use an Emulator, is that fine?
Name: F1refly
Game: Pokemon Emerald
Number of Pokemon: 5
Restrictions: No pokemon that require trades, events, or come after the elite four. Also, no Regis as I have no idea how or where to catch a Relicanth. No fighting Pokemon. Oh yeah, and only Hoen Pokemon and none of the Cat based pokemon.

Ha ha, it just had to be Pokemon that I hate evolving :P It's fine, I accept the challenge. So I presume it is okay to use a extra pokemon for HMs?

Status update:
I've just evolved my Taillow into Swellow, so got one Pokemon down.
Caught a Aron and am training it hard.
Beat Roxanne and Brawly and have just left Slateport city.

Restrictions: I'm not sure if you're allowed to evolve NFE Pokemon if you get them generated, but if not, then i'd like to exclude those.

Just a couple of reminders:

1. The rules say no legendaries so remember to exclude those.
2. Johto Dex.

And a few questions:

If you get NFE Pokemon, can you evolve them?
Do you start with the whole team or do you have to catch it?

I confirm that this is going to be my team, but i'm evolving gastly.

in the rules it says it's optional if you want to have NFE pokemon in your team, so i believe you can evolve them, as for the other question, you catch you team.

Thanks, but do I hack them in or do I, for example, start with cyndaquil(which will later become a Typhlosion), and catch the others in the wild legally throughout the game?

What I did was hacking Typhlosion as my starter, and after getting my Pokedex and five Pokeballs, I just Gameshark'ed the other five into the first route. Is it acceptable? Would be a ***** to obtain Sneasel and Corsola if it isn't.

But anyway, I wanna sign up again, now that I know that I can evolve NFE Pokemon. It's much more fun raising them from the first form.
