Here's a little status update!

-Named Player Ravyn
-Received Totodile from Prof. Elm
-Received Running Shoes and Map Card
-Received Apricorn Box
-Received Egg from Mr. Pokemon
-Battled Rival
-Named Rival Payne
-Delivered Egg to Prof. Elm
-Traveled to Violet City

Goals for tomorrow include hatching the egg, training my pokemon to face Falkner, and catching an Oddish in Ilex Forest. I also have a 5% chance of catching a Goldeen with the Old Rod in a couple places, so I'll definitely be trying to do that as well. As for Eevee and Ponyta, I can get Eevee from Bill after I see him in Ecruteak and Ponyta I will probably trade from Platinum as well.

Playthrough:

  • Started a new game, named myself DAVE
  • Chose Oshawott and did all the beginning of the game stuff until I caught my first team member, Laddie at Floccesy Ranch
  • Trained Laddie until he was at a level to beat Cheren
  • Traded on my four non-Unova Pokemon in eggs since none were available in game: Whisper, Torrance, Wally, and Rocky.
  • I went to Virbank and trained them in the Complex (during this time, Torrance and Laddie evolved)
  • Beat Roxie, using mostly Torrance and Laddie
  • We went to Castelia City and beat Burgh after doing all the Sewer stuff and catching Woobat, who came in handy against Leavanny and Swadloon.
  • Traveled to the Nimbasa Gym and trained along the way and in the Courts - Rocky and Sicko both evolved, as did Wally)
  • Rocky pretty much swept the entire Nimbasa Gym
That's all for now!
 
Since I am nearly done with both FireRed and LightPlatinum I'd like to start few new games with new teams ~I love doing these challenges and they are done rather quickly too :3

Here are some new sign-ups~ Final updates on FR and LP will probably come tomorrow though since I really have to study first D:

blatt17 I don't know weather you want to complete this challenge twice and you want to have two teams or is there a glitch but anyways - Here are two generated teams - you can decide which one to use.

The Sapphire team is problematic: I can't use Gorebyss because that would require a trade. In addition, none of the Pokemon are obtainable until long after the 3rd gym. Could I have a new team? The other two teams are fine though, so I don't need replacements there.
