continuing from my previous adventure - arrived at Ambrette Town - first thing is to visit that Fossil Lab! So sad that none of my assign team comes from fossils so I had to skip it - that Dragonite skull looks awesome, I should ask the professor if I can buy it.

After a bit of exploring Ambrette Town, I found out I need to visit Glitter Cave next, so off I go... that Rhyhorn looks scary to ride. Caught a few Pokemon along the way... annoying at such a bumpy ride

To be honest, I'm growing attached to Panpour, didn't want to make him evolve, but part of my challenge is Simipour... so had to make that decision (broke my heart at the moment)

So, I finished my Black 2 Challenge. I'm sorry I didn't post any updates throughout, but to be honest, I kinda forgot it was for a challenge.

My Final Team:

Bitey, the Naughty Crobat
Level 60
Moves:
Fly, Confuse Ray, Cross Poison, Bite
Easily the MVP of my team, with sweeping the third gym as a Golbat and sweeping the Fourth Gym as a Golbat holding the Eviolite. He got the final blow on all of the Elite Four and swept all of Iris. I've used him before, but never has he been so dang useful.

Showers, the Quirky Vaporeon
Level 60
Moves:
Hydro Pump, Surf, Ice Beam, Shadow Ball
As my favorite Pokemon, I knew how this guy would do. And he did better than I thought he would. As an Eevee, he wasn't very good, but once this guy evolved, he swept anything in his path. He is the only Pokemon on my team that didn't faint once, as he was unkillable.

Sakura, the Calm Gothitelle
Level 59
Moves:
Thunderbolt, Psyshock, Psychic, Shadow Ball
I had high hopes for Sakura, but she evolved late which made her useless until she evolved. She did descent against the Elite Four, taking out some of Caitlin and Shauntal's Pokemon. She was also able to take out Iris' Skarmory and Lapras.

Sanka, the Brave Seviper
Level 57
Moves:
Coil, Poison Jab, Crunch, Dragon Tail
When I saw Sanka's attack stat, I was in awe. It was super high, but as the game went on, Sanka wasn't able to do much of anything. She was very slow and fragile, and always got critted on. I wish I could've made her better, but she was much too slow.

Zangief, the Gentle Zangoose
Level 60
Moves:
Shadow Claw, Close Combat, X-Scissor, and Return
Zangief is one of the best Pokemon I have ever used, and is now on my favorite Pokemon list. He is just so so fast and so hard hitting, he was a close second for MVP. He was able to take out most Pokemon with just one hit, and Close Combat was very valuable against Iris' Hydreigon, who could have easily swept my team, and Close Combat also one-shotted the Black Kyurem with a crit. Also, hooray for generic nicknames!

Dayman, the Mild Altaria
Level 60
Moves:
Flamethrower, Aerial Ace, Dragon Dance, Dragon Pulse
I had high expectations for a Pokemon that was about to get a mega-evolution, and I was kinda let down by her move pull. She learns mostly special moves, although her attack stat is much higher. She was a good Pokemon, but not as good as I expected.​

So I had a TON of fun doing this challenge, and I'd like to do it again. I hope I'll remember to post updates next time.

Toxic, Shadow Ball, Secret Power, Psychic
Ralts and Kirlia were a major pain to train because of how fragile they are, but the end result of Gardevoir was well worth it.


E Honda the Bold Hariyama

Smelling Salt, Focus Energy, Vital Throw, Arm Thrust
As Sorciere, E Honda was also a bit harder to train due to Makahita's lack in speed, but E Honda does play a strong role on my team


Gem Goblin the Gentle Sableye

Astonish, Aerial Ace, Faint Attack, Night Shade
Gem Goblin although her stats are pretty low was one of my most helpful pokemon, she destroyed Brawly on her own, and played a major role in defeating Winona's Altaria by knowing confuse ray and rock tomb at the time after my Minun paralyzed it.


Slasher the Rash Slaking

Slash, Strength, Swagger, Slack Off
When there is one pokemon that is a major pain in the ass to train, its Slakoth. The truant ability and slow leveling up was harsh. And to add it all up, I get this pokemon later than I should have, not knowing where to get a slakoth I almost defeat Team Magma in Slateport before realizing they are only obtainable in Petalburg Woods. But with the difficult time with the training, she has been the best turn out with being a powerhouse with 128 attack.


Blue Pika the Modest Minun

Quick Attack, Thunder Wave, Thunder, Thunderbolt
Blue Pika, well this pokemon has a late start in learning a special attack move even though its a special attacker. Although Minun is never one of my choices now for my Emerald team. It does bring nostalgia for when I first bought Ruby I would always catch a Minun.


Cruella the Impish Tentacruel

Surf, Sludge Bomb, Bubblebeam, Wrap
Cruella the pokemon I caught really late in the game, I caught her after getting surf, has been a really great asset to my team. I have never used a Tentacruel before, (Tentacool are the Zubat of the sea and I hated them lol) but I now regret that decision she is a special defense powerhouse. She still hasn't been around for too long so I'd like to see how she is in the future.​

After winning the Cliff Badge from Grant in Cyllage City - decided to celebrate by doing 10 laps around the Cycling Course! So much fun.

Just before leaving Geosenge Town - Korrina and her beautiful Lucarios show up for an unexpected battle! A bit of practice before the gym battle! Bring It On Korrina! Lucario! Polly took care of both Lucarios.

Ahhh! Reflection Cave! It all that separates me from another badge! Caught lots of Pokemon - did lots of trainer battle! Leveling up Pokemon before the gym battle with Korrina

I promised myself before leaving an area, I would explore everything in the area, obtain as many items as I can, catch Pokemon I don't have, and most importantly for me challenge every trainer, So after loosing to Hedvig, I had to rechallenge her. I won on round 2 - I promised myself: in trainer battles no items, potions, or berries (I could have won on the first try if I used my items - it's part of my challenge to make the game a little harder than normal)

I was going to originally use Fox in the battle, but I decided not too, she was almost 10 levels higher than Korrina - and tried to keep the gym battle kind of fair, and evened match.
