Started my adventure at a good pace. Grew my Treecko and my newly caught Wurmple at a rate that I knew would be acceptable for the 1st gym, despite both facing the foreboding fate of being tossed out for Pokemon fitting my challenge. >:)

Battled with May, helped Wally catch a Ralts, talked with some dude named Scott, scolded a Team Aqua goon, up to where I finally battled the first gym, with Treecko, Beautifly, and my first permanent member of the team, Periwinkle the Skitty. It was a bit difficult, but nothing I couldn't handle, and I walked out with pride, the Stone badge firmly in my Trainer Case for the world to see.

Ok so I already had a run going but it wasn't that far into it (hadn't even beat the trainer's school) so I just boxed all my pokemon and went to catch the first pokemon Alolan rattata trained it up and did all of the trainer's school easily then went and caught my next pokemon Mangemite. After I got through the pokefinder tutorial I went and trained a bit more so that I could take on Ilima and won surprisingly fast after using an x-attack on rattata then went on too route two and got dunsparse I am now training to take on the totem

In my opinion, the journey from Rustboro to Dewford could very be well be in the running for shortest time span between gyms. As such, nothing too exciting here happens that you haven't heard before.

For instance, I follow an Aqua Grunt to the Rusturf Tunnel and recovered the Devon Goods plus Peeko.
After the President of Devon gives his thanks, he gives me the Pokenav complete with the Match Call feature, a welcome improvement of the Trainer's Eyes of Ruby and Sapphire. After that, I head off with Briney to Dewford, deliver the President's letter to Steven, and battle the Dewford Gym, but not before I nab myself the next permanent member of my team, Bruce the Makuhita, as well as evolve Samuel to a nifty Grovyle, to take down Brawly with aplomb and grab the Knuckle Badge as a little souvenir.

So far so good. I arrived on Slateport's shores and halted Team Aqua's... viewing?... of the Oceanic Museum, meeting Archie, their leader, in the process. I then head through the Cycling Road route , solving the Trick Master's first puzzle, as well as battling May again, where she rewards me with an Itemfinder (In this game, the player turns towards the spot of the hidden item, effectively making the tool less annoying.). I then arrive at Mauville, where I grab myself an Acro Bike (The Mach Bike isn't required until Sky Pillar.) and defeat Wally in a single bound. I then whoosh through Wattson's gym without a sweat, thanks in part to the saving grace of Bruce the Hariyama!
