Ehhh I still need to pick between the two lol, so it doesn't quite work out for everyone :/ But I'll decide one who by the time the IC pops up (It's already submitted), so don't worry about me not being able to decide. Meanwhile, fix up anything in your SU if you want.

Really quick, this has nothing to do with your post above J, but I want you see this lol. I like how we all have a good array of weaponry this time. No two people have the same artillery and that's cool to me.
 
Both of your SUs are good, but I think I'm going to go with LastOne. Mainly because it's a tad more detailed, but honestly, yours is good too GoldFish. Don't delete the SU, because if you are still up to it, and a spot opens up I'll let you know :)

Also, the IC is up, so if you forgot what your first post should look like, I'll say it again:
It's daytime, and your character could be doing whatever it is they usually do. Feel free to battle each other, interact/talk etc. Once things get settled in, I'll time-skip to nighttime and we'll get things started.

Note: The King's soldiers are wandering around town, but they are not going to randomly question you or attack you or anything. However if you happen to get on their bad side or provoke them, a confrontation may be necessary, or a stern talking to if anything.

Also, if anyone wants to run into Avant's Bulbasaur, go ahead.
 
The traps on my weapon are small, like the bear-trap looking ones could barely grab a hand, and the hook is like a medium fishing hook. Does that make a bit more sense? And seems less dangerous?
 
@EeveeMew: Yeah, that sounds good! Only reason I wanted you to tone it down was so we didn't get anything unexpected like a trap clamping down on someone's foot decapitating it, or worse a Pokemon's lol.

Nice post btw. Only suggestion I have is that try to start a new paragraph everytime someone new talks. That way it's easier for people to read :)

@GoldFish: Yeah, Sorry :( But don't worry I'll shoot you a VM to let you know if a spot becomes available!

And yay, Bulbasaur's in the lost and found, derping around lol.
 
If anyone wants to interact/battle/ or simply meet a goofball and Gible just say so. He's sure to leave a (bad) impression, if not an insane one.

I spent a good couple of hours trying to decide between having a chat with Sirius, or entertaining Lana, but you've won me over. Meeting a dragon isn't an everyday thing in this verse, so I'll take your word on Sirius making a (bad) impression. It'll probably go smoother than what I envisioned would have happened with Lana.

Thanks, had lots of fun writing it. And with that last dialogue, which was a killer trying to come up with, while I did have the thought of a battle possibly happening in mind, it's up to Yamagi if he wants to battle. If it did happen though, and Darren won, he would basically try and report Sirius in suspicion he's one of the rebels, with his mind changing at the last second because of the Pokemon telling him he's got it wrong.
 
@LastOne: That post just wrote put a fire in my belly. I'm looking forward to spending the next couple of hours coming up with a worthy response. And indeed, meeting a dragon pokemon is rare, but meeting a goofball is even more spectacular, so I probably shouldn't let you down on that.

Alright ladies and gents, so I have decided to open up some more spots. I feel bad when people want to join and I have to decline, so yeah. The spots are for Sir Bastian, and GoldFish!

But before I accept you GoldFish, is your character supposed to be 6'11 or 5'11? 6'11 is really unusual, plus he's a measly 103lbs lol. He wouldn't be alive if he only weighed that much at nearly 7ft.

Did I put 6'11"? I meant 5'11", heh heh. ;)

I'll fix that in my application and then work on my first post! Thanks for this opportunity, I haven't RP'd in forever, so I apologize if I seem a bit rusty.

Is it alright if I start where Route 201 would be? I wanted to start off hunting and then return to Twinleaf.
