But the real question is can you IV breed?

IV breeding is when you breed a Pokemon so it has good IVs. IVs are random numbers (not so random when breeding since the baby inherits the 3 IV values for the stats that the IV was assigned to the parent, the rest are random I believe) which are assigned to a certain stat upon encounter or when an egg is obtained from the old man, the stat it is assigned to will get a bonus of the numerical value of the IV.

yes but even if he cant iv breed we could use another regular breeder and we can even help him develop his iv breeding skills because we do know about it that would be good then later along he will be able to iv breed am i right?
