This is a fantasy, aka a story. Lying is a sin, but I know this will happen sometime and I decided to share a made up story. I would consider everything that I write would happen if I was in the situation.

Awhile back...I met a young kid at Comic Oddysey. He bought a pack and pulled a ultimate rare cyber dragon, and in that one pack, there came 2 extra cyber dragons. I was apalled, at this pull. But I was more amazed at the fact that a fifteen year old proceeded to trade his raigeki for all the cyber d's. The kid refused. I turned my back and bought a couple of packs, pulling a Goldd, and an Avarice, along with an ultimate Shadow Slayer. The kid sat at a table and cried. I walked over and asked what happened. He said his dragons got stolen by the 15 year old. I went over to him and asked for them back. He refused. I offered him my shadowslayer, Goldd, and Avarice. He still refused. I challenged him to a ante duel. But the circumstances were different. He wanted my entire deck, so i offered it. He offered the kids Cyber Dragons. We started off, and On my first turn I got him down to 5000, Meteor of Destruction+ Tremendous Fire x2. He played his turn and knocked me down to 5600. My go, I stared at the kid and saw the glint in his eye. I drew my card and fusion summoned SHining flare wingman. And attacked for game. I won back the cards. It just sucks seeing new people wanting to play the game, get jacked.

Too bad none of this happened.

At the store I play at, that would have never happened. One, the person who stole them would have not been so obvious about it. Two, if they were caught, they never would have admitted it. Three, when they are caught, you don't confront them yourself, but get the management. and four, the management would force him to give the cards back and then ban him from the store. no ante duels. that's just humoring him.

    Heh

a kid once stole two of my dark energies (pokemon). I saw him do it, but he didn't know I saw him. So after he put them in his binder, I walked up to him and asked if I could see his cards. He got all nervous. He said he wasn't trading anything. I said sternly, lemme see your cards. He said no.

So I Dragon Kicked him in the face and got my cards back. He layed on the ground engulfed in flames, but hey--dark energies dude...

Actually I just asked for em back. But I mentally Dragon Kicked him in the face.

It's sad, and it's how people like these who are responsible for schools placing bans on all card games, be it TCG or even playing cards =/

(well, at least today for me, the assembly just annouced the ban on all card games today... wahhhh I want to play Big Two at lunch)

We live in a sad world where pieces of paper rules all.

One of the saddest things in the game is Netdecking, Proclaiming that you are better than 1 another to anybody you see. Sad how people in teams seem to be the biggest bully's of them all. In sjc's, regionals, etc. The game is suspoded to be on fun but it's not. Only competion. That is the most saddest thing about Yu-gi-oh. No orignally.

Well, that ?s sad. Schools placing bans on TCG. Here, TCG's aren't popular anymore, I never see someone with cards now a days.

There are still schools in the world that hadn't banned TCGs yet? o_O

    ...I thought pretty much everyone did that back in 1999 when the pokemon TCG was new. My school did o_o;

The difference is that I'm in a *HIGH SCHOOL* right now, compare to 1999 when I'm in elementary O_o; You will guess that things could have improved from elementary to high school about TCG huh...

Well y school is quite annoying in the fact that it doesn't et you bring cards or anything, but i don't really care, I risk it and take the cards to school anyway. *cheeky heeky*

My school considers ANY TCG the following:
    "Pokieman/Pokaman" Cards
    Devil Summoning Cards
    Gambling
O.o For crying out loud, my high school wouldn't allow TCG, but we be sneaking in our playing cards for poker.

Anyway sweeties, I've got jacked for my cards a few years ago. Some guy stold my Raigeki, (Holo) Maha Vailo, and some other cards, then sold them. I got revenge though, I stold Negate attack, D.D. Warrior Lady, and Magic Cylinder, and $20. =3
Remember sweeties, stealing is wrong. 0:3

P.S. My lil brother stold for me a Transcendent Wings, and Wing Kuriboh Lv 10 from some guy at a Yu-Gi-Oh! reigonials. I didn't say anything though. XD

Ffs, my high school didnt care, even if they did, if they confiscated your cards, you would always get them back. I know if I didnt, ill get my parents to call the school and get them to give them back.

One time, this guy stole my deck(i saw him =O), anyone remember my spellcaster deck with all those banned cards like Raigeki and Magic cylinder? Nah probably not.
I managed to get back 3 cards; Breaker, the magical warrior, Dark magician and Wave motion cannon. (which apparently that n00b dropped them)
This guy was walking around the school, I got my parents to come the next day and I just jacked all his cards. That was last year. Of course, this 'guy' was younger then me.
ANd yes, my parents are teh k00l.

    If you steal from me, you get pwnt. Especially right now, if you steal my sexy burn deck from me right now, even the lord doesnt know whats going to happen to you. >>;

So true Zaikiro....no orginality. Nobody plays for fun, it's all about win and reputation. It's all those CC decks out there that make the game so boring. Because you're facing off against the same deck over and over, and there's only minor changes

COOOL! Jeremy plays Yu-Gi-Oh! That's awesome! And so are you guys! (couldn't help saying the sentence)

IN Duel Masters though, even decks that are built similarly can be played differently. That's why a deck that can win the CCs, in someone else's hands, can lose to a noob. That is what makes DM so much more exciting. IN YGO, a winning deck is a winning deck, no matter who plays it.

In DM, each person has their own style,

they like Swarm? Go with fire weenies
Bounce? Go with water and cyber lords
Like creating Mana? Go for nature decks
    Destroying monsters? Darkness
Destroying monsters without losing any of your monsters? Light

    Duelmasters has way more diversity.

I'm not too stupid to understand that there are differences among schools, but as for me, it's completely banned here; if it's banned for small children it's banned for adults, our school board is too simplistic to understand anything other than what they decree.

Burn= awesomeness. The one way people without all the best cards can still win. XD

Burn decks can have good cards, lol.

The same decks in YGO can be played differently too. Also if a total newb can't play a winning deck well then he loses.

Light doesn't have any kill stuff iirc (I mean good kill stuff, so if it does have kill cards they better not be crappy examples you give me just to prove me wrong). Dark has a lot of good kill cards that don't cost you anything.:\

And he was breaking down by civilization, which doesn't properly define each civilization's capabilities.

Dark: Heavy creature destruction, no strings attached. Also the only civilization with "Slayers" and hand discard. Also has graveyard creature retrieval. Has minor draw power. Some cards have a tendency of coming with sacrifices.

Fire: Arguably the fastest civilization. Mass creature removal and creature destruction based on power. Also has mana burn, Speed Attackers, and creatures that must attack every turn. Also home to creatures who can attack untapped creatures. This civilization does not have any blockers.

Water: The civilization where the most unblockables come from. Also has the most draw power involved. Creature Bounce is the best offensive technique other than Unblockable that Water can offer. has the almighty Emeral for Shield Manipulation. Has minor deck search abilities.

Nature: The biggest mana accelerator in the game. Also has massive deck creature search. The only civilization with trample creatures. This civilization also does not have any blockers.

Light: Currently has no removal of any form whatsoever. A take it as it comes civilization. Has both graveyard and deck retrieval for spells. tappage/Untappage and Power blockers are this civilizatoin's major points. Also has the mighty Alcadeias, Lord of Spirits, and Nariel the Oracle to severely limit playing options. Has minor draw power, minor mana accel under certain circumstances, and almost non-existant unblockable count.

A much more fair and in depth civilization breakdown than what Agent 9 provided. The rule that any card can be played as mana allows one single deck to take on several different strategies depending on who plays it.

Mullet, a deck that wins the DM CCs has been known to lose in the hands of the inexperienced who don't have the same Dueling style as the person who actually won with that deck.
