Emma was already ashore when she heard Emily scream for help. She had been pushed under, so Emma couldn't see her. Emma leaped into the water, and was pushed down by the current. Emma shoved her tennis shoes into the mud, and stopped instantly. She opened her eyes and saw Emily through the murky water. She grabbed hold of Emily with her hands, and struggled to hold on. Her legs were hurting, and she began to get weak. She then let her feet go, and went downstream.
Suddenly, she grabbed hold of a huge boulder that flew past her. She still had Emily, and didn't know wheteer or not she was unconsious. She pulled Emily's head out of the water, and stayed on the rock, so they could rest.
