Dude, they're making the E4 gyms like the ones in LG/FR. In other words, after accomplishing a certain goal (getting the National Pokedex), the Pokemon will be much, much stronger.

I like how the ym leaders are finally as high leveled as the original Kanto.

Platinum is gonna be so much better. Although, seeing how I have had Piplup and Chimchar as starters already, that leaves me no choice but to start with Turtwig... Oh well...

I have a female Torterra in Pearl, if that helps... It took me forever to breed a Turtwig/Piplup with a Ditto to get females of Piplup and Turtwig...

But, I love Fire types, hence why I started with Chimchar when I got Pearl. Piplup is a different story.

I love collecting Pokemon cards XD So when the first packs came out, I started collecting them (my first rare one was Palkia; I later got the rare Dialga). Soon, I got a rare Empoleon card. My next rare card after that was Empoleon Level X. Since a while back I lost my finest Pokemon cards (all my EX ones, including my Meganium EX, my Ninetales EX (my first EX ever D=), my Dragonite EX, my Salamence EX, my Latios EX, and two other cruddy EXes), and since this Empoleon Level X cards was my first EX/X card after losing the Exes, I vowed to start with Piplup when I got Pearl (thinking I'd get Diamond first; I decided to start with Piplup in Diamond since I got Pearl first).
