Well, you guys asked for it...
The Drama!
There was a sound of footsteps as Durako entered, supporting a limping Kaien on on arm. He looked at the broken bodies of Sypher and Rei and sighed. "I guess were all done here now."
Saya turned to him and Kaien in surprise. durako nodded at her "Yes, kaien is joining us. It seems he's had doubt about the... direction things have been going for a while, but till now there wasn't much he could do about it." said Durako, as he walked up to the sealed entrance with Kaien.
Kaien looked stone-faced at the bodies. "you have no idea how hard it was to watch them, children I helped train, being twisted into little more than thuggish puppets..." He walked up to the stone wall that had sprung up when they had entered and put a hand on It." and it's just going to get worse unless something is done about it."
The stone seemed to ripple for a moment, then dissolved into a cloud of dust particles as the group exited the cave.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk" came a voice as the Tsuchikage stepped out of the shadows a good distance away from the group." It seems no one can be counted on these days, hm Kaien?" he said dolefully." Judging from the fact that you're all still alive, I'm guessing that all the Demons have failed their duty. They should have killed you even if it took their own lives." said Kuruso wearily, as if talking about a naughty kitten that wet the carpet. "But oh, well I can always raise more. This Village is just FULL of talent."
Kaien grimaced in pain and disbelief. "How can you treat this village this way!? These are your people, your family!?"
Kuruso's eyes hardened. "My people? I learned long before I became Tsuchikage that our employers, the ones who keep this village supported do not want families, they don't even want people. All they want is weapons that can be thrown away as soon as they are of no further use. I'm just being a good businessman and matching a supply to the demand."
" BUT YOU"RE NOT A BUISNESSMAN, YOU'RE A LEADER!" screamed Kaien.
Kuruso shrugged. "A difference of opinion. Either way, I can't afford to have loose ends..." he said turning around as a long Dagger sprouted out of Kaien's stomach, as he fell to the ground. Durako blanked, falling to his knees and grasping Kaien in shock.
No, he thought, No, not him, not now, he's all I have left....
The Tsuchikage walked away a short distance and sat on a rock as he snapped his fingers, causing dozens of ninja to appear, at least more than fifty.
" Kill them" he said lazily.
The Intrigue!
Kick after kick connected with the grey beast...and then began to pass through it like mist. A loud whistle drew the groups attention to the same leather and goggle clad man who had placed the poster on the wall, now standing calmly on top of self same wall. With nary a flourish, he drew a long knife from a pouch at his side. Sparks could be seen jumping from the blade as he suddenly reached down and rammed it into the sign up sheet.
Instantly, the beast and the woman flickered like a bad old film movie, and just a suddenly, winked out of existance
(coincidentaly leaving Kat with nothing to stand on.)
The leather-clad young man nodded approvingly at the three, speaking in a surprisingly mature and analytical voice.
" First interview passed. Went straight for the monster, no hesitation, no fear. Bravo."
Jumping easily down off the wall, he inclined his head slightly. " I apologize for the disturbance. Boss' orders. My name is Spider, and I will be your guide for today.'
Still a little confused from the previous events, Kalis attempted to make sense of this.
" I...Uh..Huh?" It obviously didnt work. " Guide?" he said desperately, seizing on the one word that seemed to hold some obvious meaning.
"Yes, guide." Said Spider patiently, as he pulled out soemthing and flashed it at the group. It was a gold badge, emblazoned with the symbol of Lunatic Inc.
" You're our new members, correct?"
And I cant find a Good action post that isnt subjective or pushed the violence limit, soooo...
